‘KTR Asks My Help’- Lagadapati Hits Back At KTR

Share

Strongly replying to KTR’s comment that Lagadapati changed his survey results under pressure from Chandrababu Naidu, Lagdapati stated that he is not the kind of person who changes survey results under pressure.

Lagadapati maintained that inidividuality, character, personality are more important to him than position, power.

Recalling his meeting with KTR in his close relatives’ house on Sep 17th, Lagadapati said KTR had sought his help in the coming Telangana elections. Lagadapati said he had told KTR to change the sitting MLAs or else there’s a trouble. He claimed he had also advised KTR to go along with TDP. He replied that TRS would go alone. He later messaged me that I’ve given him good suggestions, recommendations.

Lagadapati said he had first conducted survey in 37 constituencies by November 11. He said Congress had advantage and the same has been informed KTR. Lagadapati said he later messaged KTR on 20th November during which he opined that TRS could bag 65 to 70 seats and 35 to 40 for Praja Kutami, owing to the confusion in the seat-sharing in Kutami. He said KTR replied to his message and said that TRS would get much higher than that. However, Lagadapati said he observed a change in people’s mood after that.

Lagadapati said TDP’s 20 percent vote share had initially inclined towards TRS. However, he said later that vote is being transferred to Congress and Praja Kutami. “The campaign of Chandrababu Naidu, Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi has a great impact” says Lagadapati. He said even today morning he received information that Congress is leading in Warangal.

#NBK comments: Telangana IT Association Upset

Share

The Telangana IT Association (TITA) has objected the comments made by hero and TDP MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna.

At one of his election campaign rallies in Hyderabad, Balakrishna lauded the efforts of Chandrababu Naidu for the development of IT sector in the twin cities and urged people to vote for Nandamuri Suhasini. Going with the flow, NBK said, “It was Chandrababu who taught the definition of ‘Information Technology’ to Telangana people who don’t know the spelling of IT.”

This comments did not go well with TITA and it’s president Sundeep Kumar Makthala has complained against NBK to the state’s Election Commission. He also appealed to the politicians not to make such belittling comments on employees.

We have to see what action with the election commission will take.

Pawan’s Video Msg to Telangana Voters

Share

After stating that he would reveal his party stand in Telangana elections on 5th December, Pawan Kalyan has finally come out with a video message on his Twitter Page. Pawan asked the people of Telangana to vote wisely for a transparent and stable governance. Pawan said a stable governance who would be more transparent than others is the need of the hour for the new state.

In his video, Pawan claimed that Janasena couldn’t contest Telangana polls due to lack of time owing to early elections.

Quite shockingly, Pawan hasn’t revealed whom Janasena is supporting. He neither supported TRS nor Praja Kutami-led by Congress nor BJP. Whilst it was expected that Pawan would back TRS, however, Pawan seems to have backed out after the survey reports indicating the fall of TRS government.

It is learnt that even fans of Pawan are unhappy with Pawan’s video as he hasn’t stated whom he is supporting in the polls. If this was the case, why hadn’t Pawan conveyed this message earlier itself and why only he is conveying that message now. This is the moot question.

So will Shankar’s magnum opus emerge as the biggest Indian hit in China, time will let us know.

What Stopped Kajal From Marrying In 2018?

Share

Usually, heroines won’t talk about marriage unless if the question comes from media persons. Even then, they try to pass the question or would give a general reply. However, for a surprise, Kajal Aggarwal herself picked up the topic and she said that she wanted to get married this year (2018). However, Kajal reasoned that her busy schedule didn’t let her to think about her impending marriage.

Sharing about 2018, Kajal said the year started low as she fell sick for 3 months. She said she had thought of completing the films in her hand and wanted to take a break. However, she said unexpectedly the year made her busy. She said she got busy with the back-to-back films.

And one has to wait and see, whether Kajal Aggarwal turns bride in 2019 or not. Kajal’s younger sister Nisha Agarwal is already a mom and she has a baby boy too. So, only Kajal’s wedding is pending.

Meanwhile, Kajal and Bellamkonda Sreenivas’ Kavacham is due for release this Friday (7th Dec) i.e on the day Telangana votes. Let’s wait and see, how the film would do.

‘Kavacham is my fastest & profitable film’

Share

Hero Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas said ‘Kavacham’ is his fastest film to get wrapped up and made profits before the release and is overjoyed by it.

“When I heard this script I thought it was okay but from the 16th minute the film turns racy. The entire second half is filled with interesting twists and turns. It happens in 24 hours and how a cop clears false allegations against him forms Kavacham,” said Sreenivas.

Working with a newcomer for the first time, Sreenivas said it’s a fantastic experience. “The way Sreenivas Mamilla executed the film is outstanding. You won’t get the feel that a newcomer has directed this film but he did as he carries lot of experience,” replied Bellamkonda.

Adding he further said, he had wrapped up the dubbing in two days and one half in just five hours. That’s director Sreenivas makes things easy for us without missing the quality.

About the female leads, Kajal and Mehreen, Sreenivas said, both are playing important roles and whom I will shield should be watched on the big screen.
‘Kavacham’ is releasing on December 7th.

Anasuya Lands In Another ‘Item’ Song

Share

Some time ago when someone stated that she has done an item song, Jabardast beauty Anasuya has breathed fire. She asked them to call such songs as ‘special songs’ but not as item songs. Anyway, she has signed one such song again.

Though this hottie poured all sorts of glamour in that Rangammatta character, she wasn’t given a special song in Rangasthalam movie. But now, another mega hero is going to dance with this happening television anchor in a spicy song. Yes, none other than Varun Tej, along with Venkatesh, will dance with Anasuya for their upcoming film F2, Fun and Frustration.

Earlier Anasuya has produced various reasons including that the total lyric is written on her name, as she has sizzled alongside Sai Dharam Tej in an item number in Winner movie. Though she hasn’t accepted all other item songs that came her way, now she is said to have jumped in joy with F2 offer.

End of the day, the anchor wants to prove that she is one stop destination for many talents and looking forward to this item, ..sorry special song!

Unexpected Advantage For Vijay Devarakonda

Share

Taxiwala hasn’t become that blockbuster of sorts in the likes of Geetha Govindam, but it is doing well at the theatres even though it released weeks ago. And then, here comes an expected advantage for this Vijay Devarakonda starrer.

Other than 2 Point O, there are no big Telugu films at the box office right now. And that is spinning huge advantage for the young hero. In the last couple of days, If Rajnikanth is able to get 85%+ occupancy, then Vijay Devarakonda has registered at least 70% occupancy in many theatres.

This is because those who have already seen 2.O and those who are in a mood to catch up Taxiwala are rushing to theatres. Also with no other movie around, definitely footfalls will be automatically redirected to Vijay’s flick. That said, Vijay might not collect 60+ crores share like Geetha Govindam, but still, Taxiwala is a blockbuster of epic proportions for producers.

We hear that they are going to take home twice the amount they have invested in producing this flick.

Allu Arjun Eyeing On Ameerpet Satyam Theatre

Share

Recently Mahesh Babu has partnered with Asian Cinemas and came up with “AMB” multiplex. As the project got inaugurated, the mind-blowing interior design of the luxury theatre has simply blown many minds in Tollywood.

Reports are coming that even Allu Arjun got smitten by the multiplex fantasy now. Though his father Allu Arvind owns many single screen theatres in AP and Telangana, now Bunny wants a special “AA” theatre like how Mahesh got it. And he has been pushing a deal for that.

Actually, Sunil Narang of Asian Cinemas has partnered with Mahesh Babu for AMB Theater and now Allu Arjun wants this person to offer him the same deal for the rebuilding of famous Satyam Theatre in Ameerpet. Located near Mythrivanam, this largest single screen was rumbled to ground a few months ago. If all goes well, Asian and Allu Arjun might team up to build ‘AAA Cinemas’ there.

And that marks the third business for Allu Arjun after he owned shared in clubbing business Jubilee 800 and eatery B-Dubs in Hyderabad.

Tamannaah’s Way of Handling Negativity

Share

After Baahubali, Tamannaah hasn’t done any full fledged or less roles in any film. She did Na Nuvve with Kalyan Ram almost after a year after the Baahubali and the film had tanked at the box office. She has done a special number in Jai Lava Kusa. Does this indicate to us that her career is over?

Asked whether her she feels so, actor Tamannaah said, ‘Thanks to people who think like that. Every time they said something like that, I got more number of films. Even now, I have Sye Raa and That Is Mahalakshmi in my kitty. I think judging the career of a heroine on the basis of her age has to stop. It’s time to stop.’

Tamannaah is all set for her upcoming film Next Enti which is directed by Kunal Kohli and also has Navdeep, Sundeep Kishan and Larissa Bonesi in lead roles. The film is releasing on December 7 and Tamannaah said that she personally loved the film very much.

The actor doesn’t seem to be affected with the negative comments that people pass on her and she said she takes them sportive.

Talking about her role in Sye Raa, Tamannaah said that she’s very excited to do this project as it such a huge one. ‘I teamed up with Chiranjeevi garu for the first time and I’m happy about it. Shooting is yet to be completed and I play a full length role,’ she added.

Her next film That is Mahalakshmi is close to wrap up and this film is official remake of Kangana’s Queen. The film is expected to release in February or summer.

2.0 2D Version Losing The Race!

Share

Before the release of ‘2.0’ the producers marketed it as a 3D film and also appealed to the audience to watch it only in 3D for a better experience. On the contrary, they released the 2D version in the maximum number of screens which is a blunder.

This has resulted in the box office collections. While 3D version of ‘2.0’ is minting huge money, the 2D version is clearly lagging behind. This is evident in the first week collections and the Monday figures are seriously upsetting. In many areas, the morning shows were canceled with audience not turning up as expected. If the same scenario continues, the distributors might prefer screening the new releases on December 7th.

It is not easy to increase the prints of 3D in quick time and many are finding fault in the planning of the producers and exhibitors. It’s the same situation in the rural parts of Tamil Nadu as well. The only saving grace here is the Hindi version. Having released the 3D version in maximum screens, the ticket prices being high, it has become a relief for ‘2.0.’

Dil Raju Brings Nani and Dulquer Together?

Share

Noted producer Dil Raju has inked a three film deal with Natural star Nani long back. As part of it, two films were made back-to-back. But for the hat-trick film, the ace producer is planning something big.

Initially Dil Raju approached Nani with the remake of Tamil movie ’96’ but as the latter was busy, the producer had to look for other options. Post ‘Sammohanam’ Dil Raju had paid advance to director Indraganti Mohan Krishna and now this director has reportedly prepared a multi-starrer story.

Impressed by the script, Dil Raju is considering Nani and Malayalam heartthrob Dulquer Salmaan who has great following across south India. If this combination is set, Dil Raju could widely release the movie.

Yet again the dates of Nani and Dulquer are a bit tighter to seal. Nonetheless Dil Raju maintains good contact with Dulquer and even the hero knows about the producer. Given the rapport they share, if Dulquer could adjust the dates, then we can see the combination by the end of 2019.

Salman Khan Is Richest Indian Celebrity: Forbes

Share

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is the richest Indian celebrity, according to the 2018 Forbes India Celebrity 100 list, which he has topped for the third consecutive year. Shah Rukh Khan has fallen out of the top 10 list.

The 2018 Forbes India Celebrity 100 List rankings are based on estimates of entertainment-related earnings of celebrities. The period under consideration is October 1, 2017 to September 30, 2018.

The actor’s earnings are pegged at Rs 253.25 crore. Salman, 52, cemented his place in the top spot thanks to the commercial success of his movies “Tiger Zinda Hai” and “Race 3”. His earnings were backed by endorsements of several consumer-facing brands, and constitute 8.06 percent of the total earnings — Rs 3,140.25 crore — of the top 100 celebrities for the year, read a statement from Forbes.

Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli jumped one spot to the second rank, with total earnings of Rs 228.09 crore, a sharp increase of 116.53 percent from the previous year. Actor Akshay Kumar completed the top three, with Rs 185 crore in earnings in the period under consideration for the list.

With no movie releases in 2017, Shah Rukh Khan, who was at the second spot on the 2017 Forbes India Celebrity list, fell out of the top 10. His earnings were down 33 percent this year, at Rs 56 crore from endorsements, placing him at rank 13 on the list.

Newly-wed actress Deepika Padukone broke into the top five on the Forbes India Celebrity 100 list — the first woman celebrity to find place in the top five — with earnings of Rs 112.8 crore, placing her firmly at rank 4, thanks to the commercial success of “Padmaavat”, and her brand endorsements.

Cricket star Mahendra Singh Dhoni rounded up the top five with Rs 101.77 crore, followed by Aamir Khan (Rs 97.50 crore), Amitabh Bachchan (Rs 96.17 crore), Ranveer Singh (Rs 84.7 crore), Sachin Tendulkar (Rs 80.00 crore) and Ajay Devgn (Rs 74.50 crore) making it to the top 10.

There is mixed representation from the prolific South Indian film industry. There are 17 celebrities from the South this year against 13 on the 2017 list. The number of Bollywood actors is down from 33 to 31, despite their cumulative earnings increasing by 12.89 percent from the previous year.

Brian Carvalho, Editor, Forbes India, said: “The Celebrity 100 is a definitive barometer of earnings of celebrities. Besides the earnings charts and cover stories on high-fliers like Sachin Tendulkar, Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone, we have also covered in the Celebrity 100 Special issue a whole new generation of celebrities — the unlikeliest of YouTube stars from the hinterland, a rapper from the Mumbai ghettos and an activist actor from Kerala taking on misogyny head-on in the testosterone driven Malayalam film industry.”

Indian cricket team all-rounder Hardik Pandya, with earnings to the tune of Rs 28.46 crore, was the highest gainer (in percentage terms), with his annual earnings rising nearly nine times.

Actress Nayanthara, whose earnings stand at Rs 15.17 crore, is the only woman from the South Indian film industry to make it to the list, following the success of her dark comedy, “Kolamavu Kokila” and the thriller “Aramm”.
