Nara’s daughter-in-law Brahmini and Konidela’s daughter-in-law Upasana Konidela have surprised their respective fans when the duo is spotted in Egypt. Brahmini, Upasana and a few others have recently been to Egypt.

“Thursday, Friday & Saturday in #Egypt. ( 85 extremely successful & amazing people from @YPO #Hyderabad ) Learning, integrating & discussing history. A trip that I will never forget ,” wrote Upasana on her Twitter page along with posting the pictures.

Apparently, Brahmini and Upasana are members of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), a non-profit organization. YPO has planned a trip to Egypt with its 85 members. During this, Upasana and Brahmini said to have bonded well and spent good time together. Brahmini and Upasana were spotted at Egyptian Pyramids. They visited the famous ‘Great Pyramid of Giza’.

Politically, Nara and Konidela families have different views and opinions. However, notwithstanding it, Brahmini said to have treated Upasana well. While Brahmini is the Executive Director of Heritage Foods Ltd, Upasana Kamineni is the Vice Chairman of Apollo Foundation. The woman leaders from the Telugu states have shined at the Egypt trip.

TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy has made shocking comments. He said he would take the complete responsibility of Praja Kutami whether it wins or loses. He said he would take the blame if Kutami loses and he stated that he would not step into Gandhi Bhavan. He said TPCC vice president Kumar Rao would take care of Gandhi Bhavan and its responsibilities. Uttam said that Congress is bound to SC Categorisation. He said it would initiate the process as soon as Praja Kutami comes to power. Uttam has dubbed KCR as ‘Dalit Drohi’.

MRPS president Manda Krishna Madiga has met Uttam and Kuntiya on Monday at Gandhi Bhavan. Manda Krishna Madiga has extended his support to Congress-led Maha Kutami. Manda Krishna said that Dalits in Telangana won’t forget and forgive KCR. He said Telangana Dalit society cannot forget the Nerella incident where dalits went through third-degree custodial torture. Recalling MRPS role in Telangana movement, Manda Krishna said that MRPS had played crucial role in the Telangana movement. He also noted that KCR had sit on a fast-onto-death only with the support of MRPS.

Congress state unit president Uttam also said that SC Categorisation would be dealt on priority and the matter would be taken upto party president Rahul Gandhi and make sure that the issue would be spoken in Parliament. Uttam said that KCR has cheated Dalits by not keeping his promise of making a Dalit as the first CM of Telangana. He said that Dalits across the Telangana state would teach a strong lesson to KCR.

With election date approaching fast, almost all the political parties in the fray are upping the ante in the poll-campaigns. From mud slinging to claiming credits, from nailing oppositions to making fun of them, every contestant and political party are flaunting their own merit.

However, some situations are quite surprising to see and the so-called “Praja Kutami” in Telangana elections is throwing many such. People in many constituencies are shocked to see the campaign jeeps of Congress party, which are loaded with stickers of Telugu Desam Party, TJS and CPI, are also playing songs of other parties.

Especially when the jeep is heard playing the song “Chandrababu is the one who turned the state into Swarnandhra”, many are stunned. While we could understand the fact that Congress will play TDP songs as they are part of Prajakutami, how come Swarnandhra song in Telangana elections? Both TDP and Congress need to update to some new songs, isn’t it?

On the other hand, poll flexis that have images of Sonia, Rahul, Naidu, NTR, Kodandaram, and others have also becoming a talking point.

Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and caretaker chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is unlikely to lose the assembly elections from his Gajwel constituency, but he is said to be still worried over the poll outcome.

Reason: Congress candidate Vanteru Pratap Reddy is giving him a run for his money. In the last elections, KCR defeated him with a margin of just around 19,000 votes.

This was despite the fact that Reddy was a Telugu Desam Party candidate and KCR was enjoying huge popularity as the leader who brought statehood to Telangana.

Now that KCR is the chief minister, he should be in a position to win the seat more comfortably and moreover, he has developed Gajwel like never before.

He was aiming at a majority of not less than one lakh. But still, Pratap Reddy is giving him a tough fight, because of his accessibility to the people and his clean image.

And KCR is now worried over the reports that the margin of victory might come down drastically and if it happens, it would be a big insult for him.

That is precisely why, the TRS is specifically targeting Pratap Reddy. On Monday night, the police raided his house at Kompally on the city outskirts following a complaint that he was distributing money to the party workers.

An agitated Pratap Reddy sought to protest the police raids and argued with them. When they insisted that they would enter his house to conduct searches, he tried to douse himself with petrol and tried self-immolation. But the police arrested him and released him later.

The angry supporters raised slogans against police and KCR alleging that TRS leaders were trying to torture their leader on the name of searches.

According to sources Tollywood and Kollywood industry’s versatile actor Prakash Raj is simultaneously doing films and active in public life. As per report he played a crucial role in Karnataka politics and the other day he was in headlines for extending his supporting to TRS party.

Meanwhile Prakash Raj did give interview for couple of Telugu news channels in the last two days when he was in Hyderabad and in one of them he made big remarks on YS Jagan. Furthermore when asked whom he would support in the AP, the national award winning actor replied that the elections in the other Telugu state are far away and it is too early to take anybody’s side.

Moreover about his opinion on YS Jagan, Prakash Raj said, as an opposition leader he is doing well but by the time of elections he might go for a pact with BJP. Hence this remarks did not go well with YSRCP and they are fuming over Prakash Raj and are alleging him for having a secret deal with Telugu Desam. Reportedly Prakash Raj is nobody’s man and he will give nothing to this sort of political accusations.

Sunil Arora (62) was on Monday appointed as the 23rd Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) of India by the President Ram Nath Kovind.

According to the law ministry’s notification, Sunil Arora will assume office on 2nd December after present incumbent OP Rawat who will demit the office on same day. Rawat was appointed as CEC of India on January 23, 2018.

Arora, a 1980 batch IAS officer from Rajasthan cadre, delivered his duties in many departments including Finance, Textiles and Planning Commission. He also served as joint secretary for Civil Aviation ministry between 1992-2002 and also worked as Skill Development secretary. Sunil was one of the most trusted bureaucrats in CM Vasundhara Raje’s govt and he also worked as principal secretary for the years (2005-2008) to the Rajasthan government. Earlier in September 2017, the former IAS officer was appointed as Election Commissioner by President Kovind.

Generally, an EC or a CEC has a tenure of six years in office or till he/she attains the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.

The Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray, who is on a 2-day visit to Ayodhya to participate in Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s ‘Dharam Sabha’ on Sunday, prophesied that ‘Ram Mandir’ will be built at any cost, regardless of whether the Bharatiya Janata Party comes to power in 2019.

During a press meet on Saturday, Thackeray took a swipe at Modi government saying they should not play with sentiments of Hindus and quickly wake up from Kumbhakarna-like sleep and declare an official date when they will commence the construction of Ram Mandir, that’s in dispute for more than two decades.

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat will also be attending this event. The massive rally is being attented by more than 3 lakh people and Uttar Pradesh govt has deployed 48 companies of armed forces and 15 companies of paramilitary forces to make sure no violence is taken place.

In view of accusations from Mayawati’s BSP, the Shiv Sena chief Uddhav said there is no hidden agenda behind his Ayodhya visit and plan to raise voice against Narendra Modi government over Ram Mandir issue. After visiting the Ram Lalla temple on Sunday, Uddhav demanded an explanation from government for the delay in construction of temple which was promised during 2014 Lok Sabha election campaigning.

While opposition parties like Congress and Mayawati’s BSP are alleging hidden agenda behind Shiv Sena’s move, the Muslim Law board said Muslims in UP are terrified ahead of Dharma Sabha on Sunday.

Ram Mandir might not be reality yet as the case is still pending in the Supreme Court. But that hasn’t stopped Uttar Pradesh state government to build a gigantic Statue for Lord Rama. UP CM Yogi Adityanath has approved the proposal to build Statue of Lord Rama. Lord Rama’s proposed statue would be 221 metres tall and going to be the World’s Tallest Statue.

The actual height of the proposed statue of Lord Rama will be 151 metres above a 50-metre pedestal and on top of it, there will be an umbrella that is expected to be another 20 metres high. Thus, the total height of the statue would be 221m. It is going to beat the famous Statue of Unity, the statue of Sardar Vallabhai Patel, which is currently the world’s tallest statue with a height of 182 metres.

While the cost of the statue is not revealed yet, the whole statue would be made of bronze. Also, UP government hasn’t fixed the location of the statue. And the source of funding for the statue is also not known yet.

What’s more? It is buzzed that the flow of river Saryu would be diverted in such a way that the water touches the feet of Lord Ram statue once it is ready. The irrigation department of UP said to have begun the work. Also, it is learnt that the soil testing is being done for installing the statue.

Apparently, there will be two idols of Lord Rama. One idol will be placed inside the temple for worshipping and another idol would be erected outside the temple. Yogi’s government is weighing various options in order to do it in a proper manner that people’s faith would be respected. This is not all. A museum showcasing the history of Ram Janmabhoomi and related subjects will also be constructed in and around the statue of Lord Rama.

UP state government is on lookout for an architect to build the statue of Lord Rama. Meanwhile, five shortlisted companies have already given presentations to CM Yogi Adityanath on Saturday (24th Nov) evening.

KCR’s opponent and Gajwel’s Prajakutami candidate Vanteru Prathap Reddy has attempted suicide on Monday. Accusing police of targeting him personally and troubling him, Vanteru has poured petrol on him and tried to attempt suicide. Tension prevailed as Vanteru Prathap Reddy’s followers have gathered in large numbers learning about the incident. Vanteru Going into details, police have raided the house of Vanteru Vijay Reddy, son of Vanteru Prathap Reddy, on Monday midnight.

Cops said that they acted on a tip off that the cash and liquor has been reserved at Vanteru Vijay Reddy’s Kompally house. Although the family members told cops that there are no such things at their house, police have went ahead and raided the entire house on midnight. However, police didn’t find any cash or liquor. Learning about this, Prathap Reddy has rushed to the house in midnight and alleged that police are torturing him. He said cops are troubling his campaign and diverting his attention.

Prathap Reddy and his aides have raised slogans against police officials. Prathap Reddy said that he is ready to claim his life if cops continue to “torture” him. Vanteru also alleged that Gajwel police and Election Officers have colluded.

Meanwhile, TRS party state secretary Srinivas Reddy had earlier complained to Election Commission that Vanteru had huge reserves of cash and liquor. Police said thay have acted as per the information they have received.
