BJP national leader Amit Shah had slipped and fell down from the stage after he was participating in election campaign in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The state assembly elections of Madhya Pradesh are scheduled to be held on November 28.

With 280 constituencies involved, this election includes parties like BJP and Congress besides many other parties contesting. BJP leader Amit Shah has been vigorously campaigning for BJP and yesterday he was campaigning at Ashok Nagar at Bhopal.

After speaking in the meeting, he got down the stage, and during this moment, he suddenly got slipped and fell down, following which others assembled around rushed to rescue him. Due to this sudden fall of Amit Shah there was chaos prevailing in the area.

Accordingly Prakash Raj, who had taken a stand against BJP in Karnataka elections, is back in action in Hyderabad ahead of the Telangana polls. Meanwhile in an interview to a news channel, Prakash Raj has revealed who has his support in the Telangana. Reportedly without beating the bush around, Prakash Raj said his vote is for TRS and he would support TRS, but not Congress.

When defending his action to support Karnataka in Congress, Prakash Raj said unlike in Karnataka, there is no definite leader or CM candidate for Congress in Telangana. As per report Prakash Raj said KCR has done a lot of hard work and has put a lot of efforts and he heaped praises on KCR and went onto describe him as a “statesman”. Furthermore he appreciated KCR for doing ‘Federal Politics’ and trying to bring non-BJP and non-Congress front.

Earlier Prakash Raj has questioned Chandrababu Naidu and TDP for joining hands with Congress. Accordingly Prakash Raj said what role Chandrababu has in Telangana and why his party TDP is contesting in Telangana in 13 seats. Prakash Raj asked “Chandrababu Naidu is a great leader. But definitely, his party cannot form government with 13 seats. Then why is his party contesting? Whom will Naidu give preference to? Will it be for AP or for Telangana? Will he represent our problems? Why are you coming here?

Congress has intensified its attack against KCR. While KCR is totally relying on blaming Naidu and Congress’ alliance with TDP, TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy has given a befitting counter to KCR. Uttam shot back at KCR and asked him to first explain why he has joined hands with MIM the party that had opposed the formation of Telangana.

Uttam said that KCR doesn’t have a moral right to question or blame Sonia Gandhi. Uttam said that Sonia has “sacrificed” the power and position to form Telangana. He said Sonia had stood for the separate statehood of Telangana although knowing that her party would lose. Uttam said that Sonia had kept her word and stood for her promise of creation of Telangana. Uttam also asked why KCR is nervous over Congress-TDP and TJS alliance.

Alleging that KCR fears Modi, Uttam said that KCR couldn’t dare to question for the rightful share of Telangana. He asked that why KCR couldn’t demand Modi for the Railway Coach Factory and Tribal University that were promised to Telangana in the AP Reorganization Act 2014.

Will Quit, If I Don’t Get 50,000-Plus Majority

Uttam Kumar Reddy has also stated that he would quit the MLA post if he doesn’t get majority of over 50,000 votes in Huzurnagar Assembly constituency. He challenged the TRS leaders to stop his majority in the constituency.

Former MP and former Union Transport Minister Sarve Satyanarayana has made interesting comments. Sarve opined that Mahakutami’s Kukatpally candidate Nandamuri Suhasini would win with good majority and she would be inducted into state cabinet. Sarve has made these comments at Congress party workers meeting in Kukatpally.

Sarve said he is contesting in Cantonment Assembly constituency although he is not interested. He said he is following party’s instructions. He, however, exuded his confidence about his victory. He said Sonia’s visit would boost his chances in Cantonment region.

Sarve said he is willing to support TDP’s Peddi Reddy from Malkajgiri Parliament constituency and would make him win if he contests. Sarve also recalled his association with TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu. He said Chandrababu is his political guru. Appreciating Naidu, Sarve said that Naidu always encourages hard-working people in the party and bestow them with good posts, responsibilities.

At a time when rumours are rife that former MP K. Chiranjeevi is staying away from Congress party activities and is disinterested in attending meetings, indicating that he will soon quit the party, AP Congress President Raghuveera Reddy has made sensational statements saying Chiranjeevi will campaign for the party in Andhra Pradesh.

Raghuveera Reddy’s comments come at a time when there are speculations that Chiranjeevi is upset with TDP-Congress tie-up and is keeping away. However, in a recent TV interview, Chiranjeevi had said that he has been busy with his movies and hence, could not take party actively in party meetings. He also rubbished the rumours on his exit from the Congress.

On the other hand, political circles are rife with speculation that Chiranjeevi might be inclined to his brother Pawan Kalyan’s political activities and hence, is mulling over quitting the Congress to support Jana Sena.

If we go by Raghuveera’s statement, will Chiranjeevi be pitted against his brother Pawan Kalyan in Andhra Pradesh as Congress is also a rival to Jana Sena. It looks like the AP elections in 2019 will throw up several interesting scenarios. Perhaps, a clear statement from Chiranjeevi will ward off the confusion that is plaguing everyone.

A video of TRS MLA Pidamarthi Ravi is going viral on social media. During his election campaign, the Sathupalli candidate offered to wash a baby’s rear as he posed for the camera happily. In fact, his party supporters called it his “social service” and seemed proud of it.

The video, in which the child is seen crying, has the supporters of the MLA shouting ‘Jai Telangana’ slogans and demanding people to vote for car symbol. Apparently, TRS cadre is upset with such antics from the MLA.

Netizens on social media began questioning whether the TRS also offers haircuts or any other grooming services. This is not the first time that TRS leaders have indulged in such public display of seeking attention in different ways. Assembly Speaker Madhusudhana Chary was seen giving a shave to people while he also touched the feet of voters. All in all, the elections season is definitely entertaining the people of Telangana.

Versatile actor Prakash Raj is simultaneously doing films and active in public life. He played a crucial role in Karnataka politics and the other day he was in headlines for extending his supporting to TRS party.

Prakash Raj did give interview for couple of Telugu news channels in the last two days when he was in Hyderabad and in one of them he made big remarks on YS Jagan. When asked whom he would support in the AP, the national award winning actor replied that the elections in the other Telugu state are far away and it is too early to take anybody’s side.

About his opinion on YS Jagan, Prakash Raj said, as an opposition leader he is doing well but by the time of elections he might go for a pact with BJP. This remarks did not go well with YSRCP and they are fuming over Prakash Raj and are alleging him for having a secret deal with Telugu Desam.

Prakash Raj is nobody’s man and he will give nothing to this sort of political accusations.

KCR’s opponent in Gajwel, Prajakutami’s candidate Vanteru Prathap Reddy has made some serious allegations. Vanteru alleged that KCR’s Erravelli farm house has stacks of cash. “Money is hoarded in KCR’s farm house. Why no one is conducting raids in his farm house,” Vanteru questioned. Vanteru has met Chief Electoral Officer of Telangana and lodged a written complaint.

Vanteru complained about the officials and police personnel in the state. He alleged that his telephone is being tapped and every move of him is being closely watched. He alleged that civil police have been deployed around him to observe his moves.

Vanteru questioned why police personnel have not made any searches in KCR’s farm house and the vehicles of TRS leaders. He questioned that why not a single vehicle of TRS is not seized in Gajwel. Vanteru accused that KCR had declared only 57 acres of land in Erravelli while originally he got 337 acres. Vanteru stressed that officials and police personnel should change for good.

Making serious comments, Vanteru said he is even ready to sacrifice his life in front of Returning Officer’s office if the officials, police won’t toe in line.

In what can be a major political twist, former CBI Joint Director VV Lakshminaryana, who is supposed to float his own political party, has dropped his plan and is likely to join Lok Satta Party founded by Jayaprakash Narayan. Lakshminarayana is rumoured to be the new president of Lok Satta Party and its founder president Jayaprakash Narayan would be an adviser to Lakshminarayana.

Although Lakshminarayana had mulled over starting a new political party and even the names like Vande Mataram Party and Jana Dhwani Party were heard, Lakshminarayana has decided to join Lok Satta Party as it is existing party. Lakshminarayana wants to head Lok Satta and thus want to take the party into masses. Since both Jayaprakash Narayan and Lakshminarayana’s ideologies are matching and are in sync, Lakshminarayana wants to join Lok Satta and lead the party from the front. A formal announcement would be made today.

Lakshminarayana’s entry would certainly bring boost to Lok Satta. He has already toured around the villages from Chittoor to Srikakulam and interacted with farmers, students and several sections of the society and understood the ground-reality.

Lok Satta Party is the only political party in the entire country that has organizational elections in non-partisan way. The party president and its office bearers would be elected by the party’s workers, leaders through a secret ballot. Jayaprakash Narayan, a former IAS officer, who had voluntarily quit his job to serve the people had started Lok Satta Movement in 1996. He later started Lok Satta Party on 2nd October 2006. JP was elected as Kukatpally legislator in 2009 from the party.

By giving way to Lakshminarayana, a former IPS officer, JP is setting a new precedent in Indian politics that predominantly endorses dynasty politics.
