Right after the teaser of wink girl Priya Prakash Varrier’s Sridevi Bungalow is released, the makers started receiving the criticism, both from common audience and late actress Sridevi admirers.
Sridevi’s Husband Boney Kapoor sent legal notices to the makers of Sridevi Bungalow. The teaser has got an actress named ‘Sridevi’ who grows to huge fame, later suffers the mental agony and finally ends up dead in a bathtub. The leading lady’s death in bathtub is being related to that of late actress Sridevi’s accidental drowning in Dubai.
Though the director and producer claim it to be a suspense thriller, their lead character’s name ‘Sridevi’ and the ‘bathtub’ scene are getting them into controversy. The makers of Sridevi Bungalow are ready to face the legal fight. Prashanth Mabully is the director.

Anchor Anasuya Turns Kurnool MLA

In her upcoming treat, Anasuya will be seen in a complete off-glam role, where she plays the role of Kurnool district MLA Gouru Charitha Reddy. She will be enacting this role in YSR’s partial biopic, “Yaatra”, which focuses more on the former AP CM YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s ‘paada yatra’ which eventually made him Chief Minister of AP in 2004.
Charitha Reddy is famous for taking on bigwigs in 2004 and 2014 and created a record of sorts. While she defeated two time MLA Byreddy Rajasekhar Reddy in 2004 from Nandikotkur constituency, in 2014 she contested from Panyam on YSRC ticket to defeat five time MLA Katasani Ramabhupal Reddy and former Minister Erasu Pratap Reddy.
As Yaatra is set for a February release, we have to see how Anasuya really fares in a character-driven role.

The best way to cash on the initial talk of a film is to take the talk forward. That will help more audiences come to know about the film and there will be more footfalls in theatres. And it looks like producer Dil Raju is milking this strategy to the core now.
Though the cast and crew fo “F2: Fun And Frustration” have taken up promotions very late, they have done it to the full. Especially Venky and Varun Tej are leaving no single opportunity to promote the film. Andhra Elections In April Last Week?
If the Election Commission of India has its way, the general elections to assembly and Lok Sabha in Andhra Pradesh will be held in the last week of April.
According to reports from New Delhi, the EC has started working out the schedules for the general elections to Lok Sabha and various other state assemblies.
As per the tentative schedule, the elections in Andhra Pradesh would be held on April 30. The results would be declared after May 15, when the entire election process in all the states is completed.
There were reports earlier that the EC is contemplating conducting the assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Andhra in two phases: first phase in Rayalaseema and second phase in the coastal Andhra in a gap of 10 days in April. In Telangana, the Lok Sabha elections would be held in a single phase.
However, the latest reports say they would be conducted in a single phase on April 30. May be, the EC thought it cannot afford to retain the security forces for a long time in Andhra.
In all probability, the EC might announce the schedule in the last week of February or at the most, the first week of March. The election process will commence in March with the issuance of notification in various states.
The political parties have already started drawing the battle lines and are in the process of finalizing their candidates.
In all probability, the ruling Telugu Desam Party and the main rival YSR Congress party might announce the candidates in the last week of January or first week of February.

Actress Radhika Apte has said that acting is like an investigative work as it helps to explore different things in life.
“I always take up interesting and inspiring work. In a way, it’s like an investigative work because we get to explore so many things in our life while acting so, I really like being on the sets of films,” Radhika said while interacting with the media here on Tuesday to promote an upcoming film “Bombairiya”.
“Bombairiyaa”, which will be released by SPE Films India, is an independent film which traces life of all characters for just one day.
The film, that stars Radhika in the lead role, along with Siddhanth Kapoor, Akshay Oberoi, Adil Hussain, Shilpa Shukla, Ajinkya Deo and Ravi Kishan, revolves around the theme of witness protection. It is directed by Pia Sukanya.
Talking about nature and basic premise of the film, Pia said, “It’s a comedy-mystery film. It’s very funny and chaotic story. All these three character gets connected with each other with one incident and how it becomes a much larger story that’s what the whole film is actually about.”
Public Pulse: Thumping Response To Blockbuster F2
Multi-starrer F2 has taken the Sankranthi box office by storm. The film has been unstoppable at the box office with collections increasing by the day.

KTR to meet Jagan today to invite him to join Federal Front!
A big political development will unfold in Telugu States, a day after Sankranthi. TRS working president K T Rama Rao will meet YSRCP president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday (today).
The meeting has been scheduled at 12.30 pm at Jagan’s residence in Lotus Pond in Hyderabad.
TRS president and Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao has directed his son K T Rama Rao to meet Jagan and invite him to join the Federal Front to be floated by KCR before Lok Sabha polls in April.
The meeting also assumed significance in the backdrop of AP going for Assembly polls along with Lok Sabha polls in April and KTR and Jagan are expected to discuss on working out a ‘joint strategy’ to defeat TDP in Assembly polls and dethrone Chandrababu Naidu from CM’s post.
K T Rama Rao will be accompanied by TRS whip in Legislative Council and MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, TRS MP B Vinod Kumar, party general secretary Shravan Kumar Reddy.
Both KTR and Jagan are expected to speak to media after the meeting.

The release of ‘NTR Katha Nayakudu,’ the first part of legendary actor and former chief minister N T Rama Rao’s biopic, might not have been a big hit at the box office, but it has become the much-needed ‘masala’ to the web-channels to churn out spicy stories.
There has been not much controversy about NTR’s reel-life in which he was an undaunted hero who dominated the Telugu film industry for over three decades.

The first part ended with NTR’s decision to float a new party and announcing the launch of Telugu Desam Party at a meeting in the MLA Quarters in Hyderabad.

Now in his early ‘80s, Nadendla provided all the juicy inputs to the channels in his interviews on NTR’s latest film.
He claimed that it was he who had launched the new party, but NTR had owned it up.
“He called me and wanted to meet me. When we were making preparations for the announcement of the new party at the MLA Quarters, NTR gate-crashed into the meeting and requested that he be made president of the party, as we belonged to the same caste. I obliged his request since we wanted to make use of his filmy glamour. Then, he suddenly announced before the public that he was naming it as Telugu Desam,” Nadendla said.
He described NTR as a non-corrupt but highly egoistic person, while present TDP president and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu as No. 1 crook.
Nadendla also supported NTR’s decision to marry Lakshmi Parvathi, who had served him a lot when he was hospitalised and his children had ignored him.
“He did not even get proper food on time when he was in NIMS,” he pointed out.
At the same time, Nadendla also spoke bad about NTR’s personal character. He alleged that NTR had an extra marital affair with a woman in Vijayawada and had even impregnated her.
