Director Maruthi who has become the hot favorite of trade with a series of hits is unable to live up to expectations lately.His last film as director Shailaja Reddy Alludu turned out to be a box office failure. The film took off to a great start but crashed after its first weekend and couldn’t recover from there.
Even his concepts are not working at box office these days. Babu Bangaram that was promoted aggressively was conceptualized by Maruthi. That film failed miserably in spite of Maruthi’s name associated to it.Another film Bhale Manchi Chowka Beram that is clashing with NOTA today also is conceptualized by Maruthi.
He is doing his best to promote the low budget film, but things aren’t looking bright as of now. Maruthi’s promotions could have worked in its favor if Shailaja Reddy Alludu had succeeded.His brand has taken severe beating lately. It is high time Maruthi find his mojo back and deliver big hits like Prema Katha Chitram and Bhale Bhale Magadivoy

This has become usual practice in Andhra Pradesh for all big ticket movies.
Upcoming biggie Aravindha Sametha will have uniform price all over Andhra Pradesh. Rs. 200 is the official ticket price in its first week.Nizam distributor Dil Raju also is planning to set the ticket price as Rs. 120 all over Telangana. He needs to get the permission from Telangana Government though.
Pre release business of Aravindha Sametha is around Rs. 100 crore. Therefore, buyers have to find one or the other way to be in the safe zone. Making the most of first weekend and first week is the key for success of big budget films.The film should become NTR’s highest ever grosser just to break even. It would be considered a failure even if it collects Rs. 90 crore!
#Kaushal To Enter Guinness Book Of World Records?
Like we revealed it already, Big Boss Telugu team has opted for a different route this time, by not announcing about the number of votes polled for Grand Finale of the second season of the most successful reality show.
Unofficial sources are indicating that out of the 12 crores votes polled for #BigBoss2 finale week, Kaushal himself walked away with 8 crores votes while other four contestants including Geetha Madhuri, Tanish, Samrat and TV9 Deepthi got only 4 crores votes altogether. Whether this is true or not, here comes the stunner.
Other day Kaushal himself revealed that he got a call from popular “Guinness Book Of World Records” organisers regarding a new record. In the television history across the world, Kaushal is said to have got more votes in a reality show than any other person.
If this becomes true, then surely Kaushal’s name is going to be written with golden words in Telugu television history as well. And his great deed of donating the 50 lakhs prize money for the cause of cancer patients also deserves a pat. Let’s wait for official announcements on Guinness thing!!
Balayya’s Temper: See The Other Side
For the last few years, film star and Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna has been occasionally making headlines for wrong reasons. Balayya often lands in controversies for slapping and kicking are behaving rudely with his fans. During the recent road show in Khammam, Balayya hit his fans and even his loyal fans got angry and burned his flexies.
But here’s the other side of Balayya’s temper. A few pictures of an old man falling at Balakrishna’s feet as a thank you gesture are going viral on social media since morning. The pictures were captured on the sets of NTR Kathanayakudu in Hamsaladeevi.
Going into the story, the old man in the pictures is said to be suffering from cancer for a long time. He couldn’t afford the medical expenses and that’s when he decided to make an appeal to Balayya, when he came to know that the actor was shooting in a nearby place.
The old man did manage to meet Balakrishna and explained his plight. Moved by the old man’s condition, Balayya immediately called the staff at the Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital in Hyderabad and told them that the old man is his fan and that they should provide him the best treatment for free. A touching gesture indeed!
Attack on Naidu, Will KCR Gain?
KCR’s vehement attack on Chandrababu Naidu may not help KCR much, but it may even backfire TRS to the core. As per several political analysts, KCR is barking up on wrong tree by attacking the CM of neighboring state in his campaigns.
On the other hand, Chandrababu Naidu, who had served as CM of the united state, has the substantial following in Telangana’s urban crowd i.e particularly in Hyderabad. Also, the population of Andhra in Hyderabad, other towns of Telangana are considerable. By attacking Naidu personally and raising Telangana sentiment, TRS is sending signals that it is against to Andhra settlers. Settlers who have been neutral so far are now mulling over their decision on whether to vote for TRS or not in the coming Assembly polls.
When it comes to Telangana people, they have already moved on from the Telangana sentiment. All the Telangana people are now wanting is a development agenda and progressive plank, but not raking up of sentiment, emotions. However, missing this, KCR is trying to just raise the sentiment because that had what made him the Chief Minister in 2014. KCR feels that the sentiment would work with rural population where TRS is clearly lagging and it was even evident in many internal surveys of the party.
Overall, many analysts opine that KCR should rather focus only on what has he done to the people in 4.3 years and what he would do next if he voted to power again.

And after coming to power, KCR has ensured that TDP would be wiped out and joined TDP MLAs into TRs and even inducted them into crucial cabinet posts.

Vijay Deverakonda is now getting ready for the worldwide release of his upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual flick NOTA.Deverakonda has been promoting NOTA aggressively in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamil Nadu as well. Recently, he visited Bengaluru to promote the film and met the press for an interaction.
One of the interviewers asked him if the leaked kissing scene from Geetha Govindam was the reason behind the breakup of his co-star Rashmika Mandanna and Rakshit Shetty.He said, “I’m just a third person and her co-star. I don’t think I can comment on their relationship. It’s life and they will move on.”
He also stated that it was unfortunate to see the leaked kissing scene going viral on social media. He also admitted that the entire cast and crew of Geetha Govindam were troubled by it.When the trailer of Geetha Govindam released, there were rumours that Vijay Deverakonda was the reason behind Rashmika’s failed engagement. But, both the actors rubbished them as rumours and added that they were good friends.
After the Telugu states, Karnataka is the second biggest market for Telugu films and so the makers of ‘NOTA’ are planning for a big release in the state as well. With Vijay Deverakonda’s ever spreading popularity is an advantage.
Yet another survey predicts Jagan victory in AP!
Yet another pre-poll survey conducted by popular channel Republic TV, in association with C-Voter in Andhra Pradesh has predicted a resounding victory for the YSR Congress party in the coming elections.
According to this survey, YSR Congress party would get a vote share of 41.9%, whereas Telugu Desam Party would secure only 31.4% — a gap of more than 10 per cent.
The survey predicted that out of 25 Lok Sabha seats, YSRCP is expected to win 21 seats in 2019 elections.
Translated into assembly seats, the YSRC would get not less than 140 out of 175 assembly seats, which is going to be a landslide victory for the party.The survey further predicted that the Bharatiya Janata Party would get only 12.5 % per cent votes, whereas Congress party would get as low as 7.2 % per cent votes.
Though there was no mention of Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena Party, one would assume that it would get the remaining six per cent of vote share.Very recently, a couple of other national television channels also conducted a similar pre-poll surveys in Andhra Pradesh vis-à-vis Telangana.
Both the surveys predicted that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi would return to power in Telangana, but in Andhra Pradesh, ruling Telugu Desam Party would face a bitter defeat in the assembly elections.
The surveys also pointed out that 43 per cent of the electorate prefer YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy as the best bet for the chief minister post, while TDP president and chief minister Naidu could get only 38 per cent vote for the same.

Trivikram is aware of what fans and trade expect from a Tarak starrer, but is going with the gut by not incorporating enough dance numbers.However, the video promo of Anaganaganaga song has shown more than a glimpse of electrifying dances of Tarak. Looks like, the choreographer decided to have racy dance movements in this melodious song to fill the void.
Reddy ikkada chudu choreographed by Jaani master will have sensational dance movements, according to the inside buzz. So fans need not worry too much about lack of dances in Aravindha Sametha.Two dance numbers and a couple of heavy duty action episodes should quench their thirst.
