Naga Babu’s comment on Nandamuri Balakrishna that he doesn’t know him has kicked up a controversy in tinsel town. Amidst this, Varun Tej has finally opened up about the issue. Varun defended his father in the issue and said his father would do only if he feels it is correct.
On prodded, Varun admitted that he had a conversation with this father Naga Babu about the issue and said his dad’s reply was epic. Sharing the story, Varun said he had asked Naga Babu about his comments on Balayya and he got an immediate reply from his father that he would react like that if anyone talks like that about his younger brother.
“Ma Tammudini Emanna Anthe, Ilage React Avutha. Niku Nachina, Nachakapoyina, Nuvvu Kurcho,” Naga Babu told Varun responding to his question.
Interestingly, Varun also said he would support Janasena to the core and is ready to do his bit for the party. He said Janasena has entire Mega family support. However, Varun opined that his Babai Pawan Kalyan may not need them as he himself is a big force. But Varun maintained that time will reveal whether he would actually participate in poll campaign of Janasena or not in 2019 elections in AP.

What The Fasak! Balakrishna’s Morphed Video Create Ripples
Ram Gopal Varma stoops to new low with his publicity tactics. He released a video claiming that he doesn’t know who did it. In the video Balakrishna is heard saying that there are many stars in the biopic that he is making on NTR but there is not a single star in RGV’s Lakshmi’s NTR. To this RGV replies saying that there are no stars in his film, but there are truths which are not going to be shown in NTR biopic made by Balakrishna.
RGV released this video through Twitter to promote Vennupotu song from Lakshmi’s NTR that will be launched tomorrow. The worst thing about this video is using Voice morphing technology to recreate Balakrishna’s voice and claiming that he doesn’t know who made this. It is pretty clear that RGV did this on purpose to promote Lakshmi’s NTR.
The Officer director is desperately trying to provoke Balakrishna and Nandamuri fans so that Lakshmi’s NTR becomes a hot topic in the media and in business circles. We have seen how far RGV can go for publicity in Sri Reddy’s MC incident. So this is not a surprise but only a start to many gimmicks that he is going to do in the coming days. All he needs is a reaction from Balakrishna or Nara Chandra Babu Naidu so that Lakshmi’s NTR turns hot in the trade.
Will Adivi Sesh Come For A Settlement?
Needless to say, the talents of actor-writer-director Adivi Sesh are pretty well that he could rake in huge moolah at the box office with his work. After putting both Kshanam and Goodachari in an acclaimed spot, none will surely question this aspect of the hero.
However, his excessive talents are said to be leading to a spot where he cannot believe any other writer and director. Venkat Reddy, an associate of star director VV Vinayak, is directing the remake of Bollywood hit “2 States” that has Adivi Sesh and Rajasekhar’s daughter Sivani in the leads. But the movie shooting is not going on as planned.
Recently both the director and hero are said to have a major fallout and Adivi Sesh is rumored to have walked out from the sets. And that led to director Venkat Reddy approaching Directors Association to settle the issue. Now MAA is said to be readying to contact Sesh and find out what has happened.
What is to be seen is, will Adivi Sesh come for a creative settlement here? Or will he just leave the project midway?
Padi Padi Leche Manasu : Movie Review
Sharwanand, Sai Pallavi starrer Padi Padi Leche Manasu is a romantic drama directed by Krishnagadi Veera Prema Gadha director Hanu Raghavapudi. The film starts off as a breezy romantic comedy and loses track mid way.
What is it about?
Surya (Sharwanand) is madly in love with a medico Vaishali (Sai Pallavi). He tries all the tricks in the book to win her, but he disagrees to marry her as he doesn’t believe in the marriage system. The couple decides to give it time and separates for a while. But things don’t go as expected when they try to meet again.
Performances:
Sharwanand is charming and extremely likeable as Surya. His energy and the comedy timing keep the audience invested in his love story. Sai Pallavi gets a role where she could do justice to the ‘best actress’ tag. She is superb as the dominating Vaishali in the first half and also makes us feel her pain in the second half. Rest of the star cast doesn’t get much scope, but Murali Sharma, Sunil and Priyadarshi make their presence felt.
Technicalities:
Hanu Raghavapudi is a fine writer and good technician. He uses his skills to make it a refreshing romance until the intermission point, but loses grip over the narrative in the second half. There is so much confusion that creeps into the narrative after the intermission point and Hanu tries it too hard to make it work. But his attempts to make it an engaging film goes haywire as the screenplay gets tedious.
A couple of songs are very good both on audio and on screen. Background score also elevates the drama and mood of the movie. Cinematography is top notch. The way the Kolkata city has been explored through the eyes of the cinematographer is highly commendable. Editing gets clumsy in the second half. Final portions look very hurried and pointless. Production values are good.

Analysis:
Padi Padi Leche Manasu just breezes off till the intermission point with sparkling chemistry between the lead pair and beautifully conceived scenes between them. The film never gets boring at any point as Hanu sprinkles humor in every scene to keep the fun alive. Even the best songs in the album comes in the first half to make it one of the better first halves of the year. However, things go awry in the second half as the story takes an unexpected turn.
Everything looks forced and completely dramatic although Hanu tries to keep the entertainment intact. Even the comedy looks forced during this part as the story never moves forward. It looks as if Hanu is just passing the time before concluding the story. The sub plot of hero’s parents also isn’t done well. The film suddenly seems half baked as Hanu deliberately hides a secret for the sake of pre climatic twist.
This ploy has gone horribly wrong as most of the time is wasted on absolutely nothing and there is not enough time to explore the drama towards the end. The film comes to an abrupt stop and titles roll on leaving the audience in shock. The film’s plot has similarities to Karunakaran’s film Tej I Love You and perhaps some adjustments to the script were made accordingly after that film was released.
Padi Padi Leche Manasu is heading for a blockbuster at the intermission point and suddenly loses track and falls short of the mark by the time it ends. You may watch it for Sharwa and Sai Pallavi’s performances and the super enjoyable first hour. But it is all downhill post that. Hanu has no one but to blame himself for making a mess of the second half after such a pleasant first half.

Nani To Fall In Love With An Elder Lady
Natural star Nani is looking forward to some exciting films coming from him in the new year. And his immediate treat to audiences will be “Jersey” which has him playing the role of a cricketer. And here is an interesting snippet about it.
In films, very rarely the idea of hero playing an under-age to heroine will be seen. However, when Samantha played a couple of years elder to Chay in Ye Maya Chesave, their romance has hit the top gear, deriving a blockbuster out of the film. And now, Nani is said to be doing the same.
We hear that heroine Shraddha Srinath will play a character which is 4 years older than Nani, and their love story is going to be epic. Directed by Gautham of Malli Raava fame, this film has high volatile love drama apart from cricket.
All said done, in real life, Samantha is one year younger than Naga Chaitanya, while Shraddha Srinath is 6 years younger than her hero Nani. That’s the story!
Who Saved NTR? Trivikram Or Nani?
Even after the Telangana results are out, NTR abstaining from poll campaign in Kukatpally still continues to be a hot topic. And it is speculated that NTR had predicted Suhasini’s failure in Kukatpally based on his sources and smartly stayed away from campaigning for his sister. At one stage, NTR and Kalyan Ram got readied to campaign for Suhasini. But it didn’t happen, all thanks to NTR’s friend and a source. Had NTR too campaigned for Suhasini and had she still lost the seat, NTR’s image would have taken a beating.
And the question on everyone’s lips is who is that source to NTR? Who is that person who saved NTR from falling into Naidu’s trap? Who is the one who saved NTR?
Two names are doing the rounds on this. While political circuits are abuzz that NTR’s close friend and YCP’s Gudivada MLA Kodali Nani, who himself had also planned to campaign for Suhasini, is speculated to be the person who rescued NTR’s image. However, social media platforms have rumours that NTR’s new friend and director Trivikram Srinivas has stepped in and asked NTR to stay away from any sort of election campaign owing to his filmy career.
These two names are on guessing list at the moment. Only NTR knows who had influenced him more to give up his plans to participate in election campaign in Kukatpally.

Naga Babu has recently created huge controversy when he commented that he doesn’t know the name of Balakrishna.He was reacting to Nandamuri Balakrishna’s past remarks about Pawan Kalyan.However, his comments didn’t go well with a section of people. Their political bickering has created tense moments in film nagar.
Interestingly, Varun Tej, Naga Babu’s son, says he supports his father’s decision in Balakrishna’s issue.Varun Tej initially didn’t open up when we posed the question and had tried to be diplomatic.
Later he opined there is nothing wrong in his father’s statement as Balakrishna did similar comment about his babai Pawan Kalyan.
“My father said he was hurt by Balakrishna’s comments about his brother. So, he did what he felt is right,” Varun Tej further explained.He also says he is ready to do campaign for Jana Sena party if Pawan Kalyan asks them to do so. We will always be there for our Babai even though he may not need our canvassing, Varun Tej stated.

No Takers For ‘jinxed’ Speaker Post In Telangana!
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who started the exercise to form his cabinet, has been facing a peculiar problem in finding a suitable candidate for the Speaker post in Legislative Assembly.
This is because none of the TRS seniors who won Assembly elections are coming forward to take up this job citing Speaker’s chair as ‘jinxed’.
Most of the earlier Speakers who worked in Undivided AP and even in Telangana now, were defeated in the subsequent elections and lost their political grounds.
In Undivided AP, Narayan Rao, P Ramachandra Reddy, D Sripada Rao, Pratibha Bharathi and K R Suresh Reddy worked as Speakers.
Only Yanamala Ramakrishnudu was the exception but he too faced political problems later by losing elections consecutively.
Ironically, all of them lost subsequent Assembly elections and went into political oblivion.
The first Speaker of Telangana Legislative Assembly Madhusudhana Chary also lost Assembly seat from Bhupalapally recently despite TRS wave across the state.
This triggered panic among TRS seniors that their political career will end if they take up Speaker’s post.
KCR has offered to elect Etela Rajender, Padma Devender Reddy, Koppula Eashwar, Redya Naik as Speaker now.
But all of them are said to be pleading with KCR to leave them and look for some other alternative.

Yatra teaser: Mammootty hits right notes as YSR
The teaser of the upcoming biopic of two-time chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Rajasekhara Reddy, is out.Malayalam superstar Mammootty looks convincing as the iconic politician of undivided Andhra Pradesh.
Unlike your usual biopic, Yatra does not chronicle the entire life of YSR. Instead, the story is all about the historic padayatra of YSR that changed the course of Andhra Pradesh’s politics.In 2003, YSR took a long walk across the state and covered about 1475 km on foot. This assured the victory of his party in the 2004 election and he then did the same thing again in 2009.
Yatra will document this remarkable event from the state’s history. Directed by Mahi Raghav, the film went on floors on June 20.
