Tamannaah has been in Telugu film industry since a long time as competition has been increasing in this field, she did not have any releases immediately after Baahubali 2. Almost after two years, she got a release with Naa Nuvve and that too was a disaster at the box office.

In between, she tried her hand in Bollywood and tried to focus more over there and in Tamil too. But looks like the actor’s career is in slow pace. That is why, maybe she is not saying no to any project that is coming on her way. It is also said that the actor has signed as a judge for Telugu reality show, based on dance.

Tamil director Sundar C is, was in search of a heroine for his next film with Vishal. Finally, the director had roped in Tamannaah for this yet-to-be-titled project. Once the remake of Attarintiki Daredi is wrapped up, Sundar will take up the new project.

Even Tamannaah has confirmed that she has signed for the project. The diva also has Seenu Ramasamy’s Kanne Kalaimane up for release in Tamil and in Telugu, she is part of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, F2-Fun and Frustration, remake of Queen and an untitled film with Sundeep Kishan, which is directed by Kunal Kohli.

For Tamannaah to join Sundar’s project, Vishal has to finish Ayogya, a remake of Telugu film Temper, which has Jr NTR in lead role. The remake is directed by newcomer Venkat Mohan. Vishal will also be seen in Bogan fame Lakshman’s next.

Samantha Going All Out For ‘U Turn’

Actress Samantha is leaving no stone unturned for her latest movie ‘U Turn.’ She is currently busy with the promotions and is taking utmost care of them.

‘U Turn’ is basically the remake of Kannada movie with the same title. Samantha’s ‘U Turn’ is simultaneously made in Tamil and Telugu languages and both the versions are releasing on September 13th.Also Samantha went a step ahead and did a promotional video for the first time in her career. This song called the ‘The Karma Theme’ got over nine million views while the trailer too received a similar response from the audience.

‘U Turn’ is written and directed by Pawan Kumar, who is also the director of the original version. It’s a mystery thriller and features Aadhi Pinisetty, Rahul Ravindran and Bhumika Chawla in key roles.

Verdict: TRS public meeting a waste of money!

The so-called “unprecedented” public meeting in the name of Pragati Nivedana Sabha conducted by the TRS at Kongara Kalan village on the outskirts of Hyderabad is a big waste of money, majority of the netizens who took part in the online poll conducted by Greatandhra.com early this week felt.Asked how they had felt about the Kongara Kalan public meeting, as many as 4,382 out of the 8,779 people who took part in the online voting, accounting for 49.91 per cent of the total respondents, said it was a sheer waste of money.

Apparently, they are of the view that TRS president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao could have conveyed his message quite effectively to the people through forms of publicity.The speech of KCR was routine and boring, unlike his previous speeches. He did not even present his government’s progress report properly and only said the progress was there before everybody to see and experience. The party just distributed pamphlets at the meeting.

On the other hand, as many as 1,654 respondents, accounting for 18.84 per cent felt that the meeting was a big success, while 1,458 people (16.61 per cent) said that the meeting was far below the expectations.Though the TRS claimed that more than 25 lakh people would turn up at the public meeting, it was around one-fourth of it at the end of the day.Only 1,285 people accounting for 14.64 per cent of the respondents said the meeting was a big failure.

Obviously, they were of the view that the purpose of the meeting was not served even after spending over Rs 300 crore.

Los Angeles: Actress Priyanka Chopra likes ‘Prick’ as a possible celebrity nickname for her fiance, singer-actor Nick Jonas and herself.Nick revealed this on Friday night during his appearance on “The Tonight Show”, which had “Quantico” star Priyanka in the audience, reports The Hollywood Reporter.When Fallon asked if the couple had a celebrity nickname, Nick quipped that Priyanka likes “Prick”. The late-night host then advised the couple refrain from using that name.

Nick opened up for the first time about his engagement to Priyanka, with whom he celebrated an Indian ritual last month in Mumbai among family members. TRS Fielding Dummies In BJP Seats?

While releasing the list of 105 candidates of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi within an hour of dissolving the state assembly, TRS chief and caretaker chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao told media persons that his party would continue to be friendly with the Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM).He declared that the TRS would have friendly contest with the MIM in its constituencies, indicating that the party would field only dummy candidates in such constituencies so as to help the MIM win those seats.

However, reliable sources said the TRS chief has a different plan in his mind. Though he did not announce it openly, it was evident from the list that his party is going to field dummy candidates in the constituencies of the BJP, so that it would retain all the five seats, if not more.This is evident from the way KCR has given ticket to Bethi Subhash Reddy, a relatively unknown candidate in Uppal, against BJP candidate N V S S Prabhakar.

Subhash Reddy lost the elections against Prabhakar in 2014. In fact, Hyderabad Mayor Bonthu Rammohan has been aspiring for the seat and has been nurturing the constituency in the last four years.Similarly, KCR did not announce candidates in Amberpet, Goshamahal, Khairatabad and Musheerabad represented by the BJP, though there is an intense competition for those seats.He is said to be planning to field weak candidates in those seats, so that the BJP can win those seats easily.

For example, he did not consider Danam Nagender for Khairatabad, as he would give tough contest to Chintala Ramachandra Reddy of BJP. So is the case with Amberpet represented by Kishan Reddy. There are serious contenders like Krishna Yadav for the seat, but KCR did not consider them.“In fact, he is planning to field tough Muslim candidates in the MIM constituencies, so as to split the Muslim votes so that the BJP can win two or three seats more,” a source said.

It is learnt an understanding to this effect was reached when the BJP MLAs met KCR at Pragati Bhavan a few days ago in the name of asking for a statue of Vajpayee in the city. “Everything is going on the directions of the BJP high command,” the source added.

But at a point, they are confused as releasing two teasers might almost reveal the crux of the storyline. So, there are chances that only one teaser might be released.

Trinadha Rao Nakkina is known for films like Nenu Local, Cinema Chupistha Maava and others which slowly brought him into the track of films. Among the handful he has directed, Nenu Local brought him into some limelight. He is now focusing on another love story with Hello Guru Premakosame , which is produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, by Dil Raju. Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer and Vijay K Chakravarthy is the DOP.

Mannara had made her Tollywood debut with Indian Idol winner Srirama Chandra’s debut film ‘Prema Geema Jantha Nai’ in 2014. Since then, she was seen in movies like Thikka, Jakkanna and Puri Jagannadh’s Rogue.

Mannara is Bollywood star heroine Priyanka Chopra’s cousin sister. Her unlimited glamour show in Zid was much talked about those days. Given her voluptuous appearance, it remains to be seen how Teja will portray her in his ongoing film.

The worst fears of the Congress Party in Telangana seems to be coming true! The Party, which fears possible trojan horses in its ranks received the first hit in the face with a senior Party leader leaving it to join the ‘Pink’ brigade!

Former unified Andhra Pradesh Speaker and senior Congress Party leader K R Suresh Reddy joining the Telangana Rashtra Samithi will surely be a bad omen for the grand old party of Indian Politics which is working overtime to evoke confidence among its cadre and leaders across Telangana State.

Suresh Reddy’s announcement to join TRS, in the presence of KTR, who is being seen as the Chief Minister-in-waiting is likely to have a negative impact on the morale of the Congress party, which is scrambling to make-up to the lost time in identifying the right candidates to contest polls on the Party ticket.

Now, the Congress Party would be on the vigil to identify more such trojan horses, who might desert the Party at crucial moments or work against its interests during the ensuing Assembly Elections.

As the poll bugle sounded by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is getting shriller with each passing day, the opposition parties (excluding the BJP and MIM) are leaving no stone unturned to make use every option they have.Soon after dissolving the Telangana Assembly, KCR took everyone by surprise by announcing the TRS candidates for 105 Assembly segments.

It is learnt that opposition parties in Telangana are planning to form a grand alliance to fight the poll battle against KCR. For the first time in the TDP’s history of 36 years, the party is reportedly coming forward to join hands with the Congress to form alliance. This has surprised everyone.

According to political pundits, the TDP, the Congress, Professor Kodandaram’s Jana Samithi and the Communists may come forward to form an alliance in the elections.Of 119 Assembly seats, the Congress will be fielding 90 candidates while the rest will be given to the others. It is learnt that the TDP is seeking 20 seats while the Congress is ready to offer just 15. Jana Samithi may get five to nine Assembly seats to contest.

The plan and agenda of the grand alliance is intended to defeat KCR. As part of this, the Congress and the TDP planning to form an alliance. By keeping party priorities aside, the parties have decided not to be too adamant during consideration of seats allocation.

The TDP believes that it has firm grim in a few constituencies in Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Medchal, Warangal and Khammam.

Huzurnagar constituency’s TRS incharge and Srikanth Chary’s mother Dasoju Sankaramma has become emotional. She said she would take extreme step if she is not given the party ticket from Huzurnagar. She said she was promised the ticket by KCR, KTR and added that she is expecting that they would do justice to her.

Sankaramma, 49, was given TRS ticket in 2014 from Huzurnagar. However, she was defeated by Congress candidate Uttam kumar Reddy. Now, specualtions are rife that an NRI is aspiring for TRS seat from Huzurnagar and this said to have upset her. She is getting emotional and is stating that she would die in the next 10 minutes if Huzurnagar ticket is not offered to her.

Earlier, a drama unfolded in Hyderabad when two of her aides one Veeranjaneyulu (Miryalaguda) and another Nagu (Huzurnagar) had climbed Radio Station tower demanding that Shankaramma should be given Huzurnagar ticket.Shankaramma’s son martyr Srikanth Chary had claimed his life first for the separate statehood. Demanding separate state of Telangana, he had immolated himself by setting himself ablaze near LB Nagar on Nov 29, 2009. He succumbed to severe injuries and died on Dec 3, 2009.
