Back in 2011, Pawan gave a huge boost to his nephew Sai Dharam Tej during his debut film ‘Rey’. That Rey was delayed forever and ended up as a huge flop is another story. Now, after SDT, Pawan is said to be monitoring his another nephew and SDT’s brother Vaishnav Tej in his acting career.
Pawan reportedly got his Katamarayudu director Dolly and Nela Ticket producer and Janasena sympathizer Ram Talluri to produce Vaishnav Tej’s film, while Pawan will present it under his Pawan Kalyan Creative Works banner.
Pawan is expected to announce the film somewhere in early next year, ahead of the general elections, to give the project and his nephew a huge hype. Meanwhile, Vaishnav is all set to make his acting debut with a project to be jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar. An official announcement is expected in a week.
Here’s an exclusive update. Tollywood’s star director Rajamouli’s son SS Karthikeya is all set to get engaged to his lady love today. Karthikeya is said to be in a committed relationship with his lady love for quite sometime. More details about the lucky girl will be revealed soon.
On the work front, Karthikeya is an all-rounder and Rajamouli himself had certified his son with that tag. Karthikeya has been assisting his dad in the direction and production departments on all his movies since Magadheera. He also ventured into business and co-owns a restaurant and the Nalgonda Eagles Kabaddi team in the Telangana Premiere Kabaddi.
Karthikeya is Rajamouli stepson. However, in an interview with a media house a couple of years ago, Rajamouli’s wife Rama said that no one in the family feels that Karthikeya is not the biological son of Rajamouli. This goes on to prove how deep Rajamouli and Karthikeya’s bond is.
More than anybody else, it is Telugu Desam Party general secretary and state IT minister Nara Lokesh, who appears to be more relieved and relaxed with the decision of YSR Congress party MLAs’ decision to continue the boycott of the state assembly session.Though Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao has written to the YSRC MLAs asking them to attend the session, Lokesh and his father chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu are very much sure that the opposition MLAs won’t attend the House.
Lokesh says it is better if the YSRC MLAs don’t attend the assembly session.“Even if they come, their only activity is disturbing and disrupting the proceedings in the House. They never raised any subject pertaining to the problems of people during their entire period in the assembly,” he said.
But the fact of the matter is that Lokesh is scared of facing the opposition in the assembly. In fact, he had never faced a strong opposition so far. Since Lokesh still fumbles in giving answers, he would have definitely got exposed had the YSRC MLAs attended the assembly sessions. So, it would be good for him if the YSRC continue to stay outside the House.
Naidu, however, felt that YSRC MLAs should have attended the assembly.“If they don’t want to come to the House, why should they take monthly salaries of legislators?” he asked.
Notwithstanding the tall claims being made by Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu that his dream capital city of Amaravati is going to take a shape in the next few months, ground realities are entirely different, says a report that appeared in international news portal BBC.
Even as municipal administration minister P Narayana says the construction of roads will pick up pace by December, Naidu’s media managers have gone to the extent of saying that the government would arrange “Amaravati Darshan” for the people to go round and personally understand the progress of works on the capital. But the BBC report says the actual works on Amaravati, which is supposed to be 10 times bigger than Singapore in terms of its area, is still in nascent stage.
“Today, nothing has been built on the vast amount of land procured from farmers. Even roads and basic infrastructure like drainage and power lines are yet to be put in place. Barring an interim government complex with a Legislative Assembly and a Secretariat, there is nothing,” the report said. The BBC attributes the delay to Naidu’s personal obsession with grandiose designs and obsessions for historic legacy. It pointed out how Naidu went on changing the designers – from Japan’s Maki Associates to Foster and Partners, besides engaging film director S S Rajamouli.
But faced with funds crunch, as the central assistance being pittance and the World Bank loan of Rs 3,800 crore not forthcoming, Naidu is trying to borrow funds left, right and centre in his desperate bid to give a shape to the capital city. The BBC report also pointed out the concerns of environmentalists that Amaravati is a flood prone area.“It is an environmentally unsustainable project and a flood risk,” the report says quoting an environmentalist.

We all know that Ram Gopal Varma doesn’t like to take the conventional route. In spite of being under tremendous pressure to deliver a successful film after humiliating flop Officer, the maverick director is locking horns with super heavyweight Aravinda Sametha at the box office.Varma’s upcoming film Bhairava Geetha will release on October 12, just a day after Aravinda Sametha hits the marquee.
RGV could have simply announced the date, but he made sure that people notice that it is pitted against NTR-Trivikram’s film.“New director Siddhartha is releasing his Film #BhairavaGeetha against established director Trivikram’s #AravindSametha,” Varma tweeted.Bhairava Geetha’s trailer garnered public attention with its raw and rustic visuals. RGV well-wishers are hoping that Bhairava Geetha would put him back on track.
But RGV like always has gone adventurous in picking the release date. He picked a heavily crowded season for release and that too clashing with the biggest film of the year.

He dared KCR either to expell his from TRS or withdraw the resolution adopted by the party seeking his removal recentlyIt was first time he opened mouth on the pending decision on his suspension from the party.
The TRS MP clarified he did not involve in anti-party activities and asked If the party, mainly MP K Kavitha does not like to continue him in the party, the party leadership can suspend him.DS said he never asked for Rajya Sabha MP post. For the first time, Superstar Mahesh Babu joined forces with Vamshi Paidipally and the duo is currently working on the actor’s landmark silver jubilee film ‘Maharshi’. We were the first to reveal that Maharshi is a father and son story.
And here’s an interesting inside info we have exclusively gathered. Before the project was announced formally, Vamshi Paidipally told Mahesh that he will make the film completely massy with the usual tropes like an item song and fights. But Mahesh, who quite liked Maharshi’s story, told Vamshi, “It’s my 25th film. I want to give some message through this film. Let’s tell this story in an honest way. No need of any masala.” Finally, Vamshi had agreed with Mahesh.
While this is an extremely praiseworthy gesture by Mahesh, this is not the first time that he did this. Soon after he watched and appreciated Pellichoopulu and Arjun Reddy, Mahesh evinced interest in working with Tharun Bhascker and Sandeep Reddy Vanga and even told them not to worry about his star image but to come up with a genuine script without unnecessary mass elements.
