Naidu Against Reddy CM In Telangana?
During the ongoing elections to Telangana assembly, Telangana Rashtra Samithi leaders have been alleging that Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu is controlling the Maha Kootami and the Congress party is taking directions from him on every issue.Even on Sunday night, top Pradesh Congress Committee leaders including Capt N Uttam Kumar Reddy went to Naidu’s residence to take his guidance on how to manage the elections in the last two days.
Even Congress party president Rahul Gandhi and his general secretaries Ghulam Nabi Azad, R C Khuntia, Jayaram Ramesh and others have been in regular touch with Naidu.It is learnt Naidu would coordinate with his party leaders and direct them to help the Congress leaders in the last minute poll management to counter the TRS strategies.Sources said if Maha Kootami comes to power, it is Naidu who will dictate the Congress party as to who its chief ministerial candidate should be.
According to these sources, Naidu does not want a Reddy candidate to be anointed as the chief minister, as it would turn a negative factor for him in Andhra Pradesh assembly elections scheduled to be held in another four months.Instead, he reportedly suggested that a Dalit leader be made a chief minister. Preferably, he wants Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka to be the CM, if Maha Kootami comes to power. If not, the party might consider J Geetha Reddy, who is also a Dalit though she married a Reddy.
“This will fetch a lot of mileage in Andhra Pradesh. At the same time, it will help Naidu keep a control over Telangana chief minister, which will not be possible if a Reddy becomes the CM,” sources said.
Who Is Kingmaker In Telangana – MIM or BJP?
The various pre-poll surveys that are being churned out by various agencies and individuals over the outcome of assembly elections in Telangana are creating a confusion of sorts in the people.However, almost all the surveys are giving an indication that there is a close fight between the TRS and the Maha Kootami.
But, what is surprising is the latest survey purported to have been done by Lagadapati Rajagopal, former MP from Vijayawada, whose pre-poll predictions are believed to be more credible.According to it, the TRS would end up with 50 to 51 seats in the 119 member assembly, while at least five to six independents would emerge victorious.
The MIM will retain its seven seats, but what is surprising is that the Bharatiya Janata Party might get six to eight seats.The whirlwind tours of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP president Amit Shah, UP, Chattisghargh CMs Yogi Adityanath and Raman Singh, union ministers Rajnath Singh, Sushma Swaraj, Nitin Gadkari, JP Nadda, senior party leaders Ram Madhav and Muralidhar Rao seem have made a huge impact and the BJP is all set to improve its tally.
Now the question is which party’s support the TRS would take to form the next government. It is quite clear that neither the BJP nor the MIM would support the Congress party in the given circumstances.
While the MIM has already declared that it is the friendly party of the TRS, the BJP sources say their party is also willing to extend its support to the TRS, in case it falls short of majority.
The TRS, being a friendly party of the MIM, can seek the latter’s support. But, sources say KCR may even consider taking the support of the BJP, since he badly needs the support of the Modi government at the Centre from coming out of financial crisis.And there is every possibility that the TRS might join hands with the BJP to fight the Lok Sabha elections in 2019.
It remains to be seen, who will be the king maker – BJP or MIM in the Telangana elections.
‘Chandrababu was behind police attack on me in 1999’
Hyderabad: MIM president Asaduddin Owaisi on Monday alleged that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was behind the police attack on him in 1999 as he was to campaign for the Congress party.With both Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief Naidu and Congress president Rahul Gandhi targeting Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) during their joint campaigning for Telangana polls, the Hyderabad MP hit back at them.
Terming Rahul’s remarks against MIM as his show of arrogance, Owaisi said the Congress president should know that he took the police blows for his party.Addressing a MIM election rally in Hyderabad on Monday night, Owaisi recalled that Task Force personnel badly assaulted him on September 22, 1999 in the old city of Hyderabad.
He said former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Congress leader Vijay Bhaskar Reddy had revealed to his father Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi that the police attacked him on the orders of then Chief Minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu as he was to leave for Guntur to campaign for the Congress party.
Taking strong exception to Rahul Gandhi’s allegation that he had secret deal with BJP, Owaisi wondered how he was nice for Congress when he supported it from 1998 to 2012.
The MP also reminded the Congress president that he personally went to jail to meet YSR Congress party chief Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy to seek his party’s support for the candidature of Pranab Mukherjee in the Presidential election.
Owaisi also revealed that in 1996 when a man was killed in police firing in Hyderabad and he wanted a debate in Assembly, Chandrababu Naidu deliberately kept the debate a day after his (Owaisi’s) marriage so that he could not participate in it. The MIM chief still rushed to Assembly the next day at 7 a.m. to participate in the debate.

Watch: Revanth Reddy Arrested Ahead Of KCR Rally
Kodangal (Telangana): Amid a high-octane campaign in Telangana for December 7 polls, Congress candidate from Kodangal and party’s working president from Telangana, Revanth Reddy, was detained and taken into preventive custody earlier on Tuesday.
Reddy was picked up by the Telangana police in the early hours of Tuesday, hours before scheduled meeting of caretaker chief minister and Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) supremo K Chandrasekhar Rao in Kodangal.
Reddy had threatened to stop the public meeting of KCR.
A large team of police personnel arrived at Reddy’s house and broke open the door before taking him into custody.The MLAs argued with cops, demanding that they be shown ID cards of the authorities and also copy of the arrest warrant.
The state election body, in a notice to the Congress party, said that Reddy had given a “protest call” to stop KCR’s campaign rally in Kodangal on December 2.
Mahesh’s Theatre Launch: Why Only Few Celebs?
Apparently, the launch of Mahesh Babu’s latest ventured, AMB Cinemas, where he has partnered with a couple of others to come up with a luxury elite class multiplex theatre, has taken place quite formally other day. And there is one question.

Rumor: Kajal’s Ego War With Mehreen?
There is no dearth of gossip when there are two lovely heroines teamed up in a movie. And that is what helping Bellamkonda Srinivas upcoming movie “Kavacham” as rumours are bringing that extra hype for the film.
Rumour winds are so strong that senior starlet Kajal Aggarwal has said no to promote the film, in case if other heroine of the movie Mehreen is there at promotions along with her. Many say that due to this condition, actually Mehreen was not seen at the audio launch of the movie that took place other day. And then, neither Mehreen tags Kajal on her social media posts, nor Kajal does the same, though both post about Kavacham.
Also recently when Kavacham unit went to Dubai for songs shoot, Kajal is said to have refused to join them until Mehreen’s part is done. Only after Mehreen left Dubai, Kajal actually joined the sets. They say that Kajal is quite egoistic to be treated as a heroine of the same range with Mehreen, hence this game.
While the unit rubbished off any such animosity between the two Punjabi hotties, rumour mongers say that there is no smoke without fire.
