This weekend is going to be pretty intense and nerve-wracking in the Bigg Boss house. Tough competitors like Kaushal and Tanish are in the elimination zone along with Deepthi Nallamothu and Pooja following the tasks given to them by the Big Boss this week.

And here’s an interesting update. Not one, but there will be two eliminations from the Bigg Boss house this Sunday. Last weekend, Tanish’s close housemate Deepthi Sunaina exited the show. Kaushal Army is miffed with Tanish since a long time and it remains to be seen whether Tanish will be voted down in this week’s nomination.

On the other hand, Kaushal has again found himself in the nominations and he has been targeted by Nani in the last weekend episode. Deepthi Nallamothu was saved on a couple of occasions from being eliminated in the previous episodes. And this will be Pooja’s first elimination weekend, and what will happen eventually is something to watch out for this Sunday.

Malayalam actor Dileep is accused in an actress’ molestation case and that did not change his fans’ feeling in the hero. His film released when he was in jail, turned a blockbuster proving the same. But it is not the same for an actor in Hollywood after he is accused of rape and sexual assault. We are not talking about the law there, but the judgment of the audience shows how much they hate him.

Many of us must have known the American film actor, two-time Oscar winner Kevin Spacey and accusations on him from many women and men through the #metoo campaign. The actor is accused of assaulting and taking advantage of many other actors until recent past. When Kevin Spacey admitted that he ‘might’ have assaulted some actors when he was drunk, many filmmakers removed him from their films and even the most famous Netflix TV series House of Cards too has shown his way out. The biggest shock for him is when the audience rejected him completely when his ‘Billionaire Boys Club’ released. The film collected just $618 in one week!!

It is the amount earned when six people watched the film each day in eleven theatres on average, which leaves many other theatres empty. This shows how serious issue a sexual assault is for an average American audience. Is this even possible in our country on any day in future, where the hero worship dominates everything else?

Pawan Kalyan along with his wife Anna Lezhneva and children Polena, Mark Shankar Pawanovich have met his elder brother Chiranjeevi who is celebrating his birthday. Pawan, who visited Chiru’s residence in Jubilee Hills, presented a big floral bouquet to Chiranjeevi and greeted him on his 63rd birthday. Seeing Pawan and family, Chiru welcomed them pleasantly and received them well. Chiru has placed his hand over Pawan’s shoulders and brought him closer when they were striking for a pose for camera.

Pawan and Chiru said to have spent good time. Chiru’s family see to it that Pawan and family are comfortable throughout. Pawan apparently told Chiru that he immensely liked the teaser of Sye Raa and Chiru is elated with Pawan liking it.Chiru said to be quite happy to see his younger brother Pawan personally greeting him. Pawan, who is busy with his new profession in politics.

Meanwhile, criticism is pouring in on Pawan for taking regular breaks in his Praja Porata Yatra. Pawan, who had planned to resume his Yatra in West Godavari district from July 16, had first postponed it to July 20 and subsequently postponed to July 23.

Pawan is expected to visit Jangareddigudem, Polavaram and Chintalapudi in West Godavari from Aug 23rd. But he has yet again postponed the schedule now citing the floods in West Godavari district. The new date would of his Porata Yatra would be announced soon.

It was expected to score huge collections but no one expected that it would turn out to be such a monster hit. ‘Geetha Govindam’ surprised everyone including veteran trade pundits.The film took in massive Rs 38.71 Cr share worldwide in just one week there by surpassing lifetime gross of many big hits.

As Megastar Chiranjeevi declared at success meet of ‘Geetha Govndam’, Vijay Deverakodna has now emerged as a big star. His star charisma and craze was the prime reason for such massive collections.Terrific soundtrack and beautiful Rashmika are another bonus. Parasuram’s deft direction is plus point as well.

All in all, the film has become universal hit scoring massive collections in all areas from Nizam, Ceded, Andhra, Karnataka, Tamilnadu to USA and Australia.

With ‘Shailaja Reddy Alludu’ backing out of August 31st, quite a few films are planning for the same date release. One among them is ‘Paper Boy.’This film which was supposed to hit the screens on September 7th will now make way at the box office on August 31st.

Director Sampath Nandi is presenting and producing ‘Paper Boy’ which features Santosh Shoban, Riya Suman and Tanya Hope in the lead cast.The film is being directed by Jaya Shankarr and it’s his debut. The trailer of ‘Paper Boy’ got a decent response with over a million views and also the two songs.

Bheems has composed music and cinematography is handled by Soundar Rajan.

Sailaja Reddy Alludu has been postponed. The film is now more or less scheduled for a September 13 release.But as has been reported, is the delay because music director Gopi Sunder could not complete the re-recording on time? But are there other reasons for the film’s delay?In fact, many rumours are rife in Tollywood with regard to the film.It is being said that the film has been delayed by the makers. Apparently, re-recording is complete and there is no pending work on the film.To put it briefly, there are said to be three reasons here.

To begin with, Geeta Govindam is doing good business at the box-office. With the current going, it is likely to do good business for at least another two weeks. So, if another youthful film releases immediately, then there are bound to be comparisons. Surely, the unit of Sailaja Reddy Alludu did not want this to happen.Secondly, Maruthi is close to Geeta Govindam producer Allu Arvind and Bunny Vaas. In fact, Maruthi is a very good friend of Bunny Vaas. So, when they have a hit on hand, it makes sense to not stop their success run. Talk is that Maruthi has obliged Bunny Vaas.

Third, Chaitanya needs a hit badly. Since they wanted to release the film on a certain date, the second half was shot in a hurry. So, the team wanted to be double sure of the output.Had it been just re-recording, Maruthi would have got the re-recording done at some place or the other between August 20 and 30. He has enough connections to get work done. But it is all aforementioned reasons that have delayed the film.

So, in all, one cannot go by the public version that it is only delay in re-recording that led to the postponement of the film.
