Sonia Turns Emotional In Telangana
UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi has virtually turned emotional and her voice was choked when she got up to address the people at her Medchal rally on Friday. She sought to strike an emotional chord with the people saying she felt like a mother who was seeing her children after several years.
“When I came here today, I felt like a mother seeing her children after a long time,” she said, amidst loud cheers. She said every mother wanted her children to be healthy and grow prosperous.
“But I see my children are not healthy and their growth is stunted. The man who was supposed to take care of them has neglected them,” she said, as leaders shouted Sonia Amma.Sonia said granting Telangana was no easy decision. She had to face a lot of difficulties, as she had to satisfy people from both Andhra and Telangana.
“I really wanted both the new born states develop at a rapid pace. We took the decision keeping in view of the aspirations of the people of Telangana. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Rahul gave me a lot of strength to take the decision,” she said.
She reminded that the Congress had paid a heavy price for forming Telangana, as she faced the anger of people of AP.
“I want to assure the people of AP that when we come to power at the centre, we will accord Special Category Status to AP,” Sonia said. She lashed out at the TRS government for failing to live up to the expectations of the people.
“Today, I am very much pained to see Telangana. All your dreams to have your own water, funds and employment were shattered. Don’t believe those who fail to keep their word,” she said.
Stating that the present elections are an opportunity to overcome all the problems, Sonia asked the voters to elect the alliance here in Telangana. She released party manifesto and said that details of programmes for all the sections of the society were incorporated in it.
#RRR Bringing Us A New Technology
Even the highly appreciated Baahubali movie series was also not shot on the stereoscopic 3D format. Despite the fact that ace director SS Rajamouli is a huge lover of Visual effects, he hasn’t decided to take the experience to next level.
If reports are to be believed, the leading director of Telugu and Indian cinema industries is now thinking to introduced enhanced 3D visuals to Telugu audiences. Built on the lines of 4D technology, upcoming film #RRR will have time-freeze shots like in “The Matrix” movie.
For the same, Rajamouli, his cinematographer Senthil and VFX supervisor Srinivas Mohan are said to have imported a 120-camera-rig setup, that will help them shoot action sequence from a 360 degrees perspective. Though Rajamouli will later convert this into stereoscopic 3D (where we will watch it wearing glasses) or not, the final visuals will be creating that realistic 3D effect even though audience watch it in normal screens.
Featuring Ram Charan and Rama Rao Jr in the leads, shooting of #RRR has started recently and the makers are carving out some intense action episodes at the moment.
Allu Arjun Said Sorry To Me – Taxiwala Director
During the pre-release function of Taxiwaala, Allu Arjun, who was the chief guest, had spoken from everyone including the film’s writers, hero Vijay Deverakonda, heroine Priyanka and all. But he had forgotten to give due credit to director Rahul at the event. Later the film went onto become a big success.
Celebrating the success, Allu Arjun has thrown a lavish party at a posh pub to the entire cast and crew of the film. During the party, Allu Arjun has apologized to director Rahul for missing his name at the pre-release. Allu Arjun admitted that director plays very important role in shaping up a film and he has forgotten to mention his name by mistake. He clarified to director that it happened by mistake and it was not intentional. Interesting thing is that Bunny has said sorry to Rahul in front of the entire cast and crew at the party. Instead of saying sorry personally i.e one-on-one, Bunny chose to do it in front of all team so that he wants to show them, that he respects director a lot and also wants everyone to respect director.
This whole issue came into light, when director Rahul himself had shared with others and media. Rahul said it is so nice of Bunny sir to say so.
Kumari’s Dreams Crash Landed This Friday
With just one film, she has turned all the heads. Unfortunately, that very same glamour which made her a star hasn’t come to her rescue later on. We are talking about Hebbah Patel, the “Kumari 21 F” star who has hoped big on this Friday.
From sometime, Hebbah’s glamour treat is not working out at the box office, as that is missing out the original content. Hot looks and bold acts will succeed only if they are supported by the head-turning story. Otherwise, they go in vain. Films like ‘Nenu, Nanna, Na Boyfriends’, ‘Angel’ and others haven’t helped this Mumbai hottie for the same reason.
And now, she has pinned hopes on her latest release “24 Kisses” in a big way. These days, even though Hebah is offered many small films with new heroes, she has rejected them all, saying that she will not choose her next step until 24 Kisses releases. She felt that the film will become a sensational hit, making her that sought after star yet again.
However, her dreams have come crushing with the film’s lame storyline and dumb way of filmmaking not convincing either critics or audiences. With only 24 hardcore lip smooches, the story failed to create anything engaging and that will be taking a toll on Hebah’s career now. Hope a miracle will happen!!
From ‘No Glamour’ To ‘Only Glamour’
Many Telugu beauties failed to click in Telugu film industry due to their conservative approach towards glamorous roles. This is being said by many filmmakers, though those Telugu hotties like Bindu Madhavi who are not against the glamorous looks also didn’t get many chances here.
Cut to our topic, in the recent times we have Telangana girl Eesha Rebba getting huge attention for her acting prowess. However, the actress opted out of many films and said no to certain big heroes because she doesn’t want to don that glamorous hot. But somehow, she changed her mind now.
Now and then, Eesha’s social media page timeline has filled those pictures that seek all the attention through their red hot oomph factor. Also at cinema events, she is appearing in hottest avatars by choosing to dazzle in some short costumes. They say she shifted herself from ‘no glamour’ to ‘only glamour’ kinds of looks. We have to see what will this new trend fetch Eesha Rebba in her upcoming journey in Telugu film industry.
Eesha is right now looking forward to Sumanth’s Subramanyapuram release, while her recent release Aravinda Sametha hasn’t provided her a chance to showcase her acting prowess.

Chinna Jeeyar More Dangerous Than Naidu?
Known for his controversial comments, social activist and chairman of T-MASS (Telangana Mass and Social Sciences Organisation) Kancha Ilaiah on Friday made yet another controversial statement, describing popular Hindu Vaishnavaite seer Sri Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji as the most dangerous person for the people of Telangana.
Reacting to the allegations made by Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao that Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu had turned out be the biggest danger for Telangana as he was opposing Telangana projects, Kancha Ilaiah said Chinna Jeeyar was more dangerous than Naidu.
“The seer is a hard core Andhraite. But after the formation of Telangana, he has become the de facto ruler of the state. KCR takes any decision of the government and the party only after getting the approval from Chinna Jeeyar Swamy. Even when he assumed the chief minister’s chair in the Pragathi Bhavan, he made Jeeyar Swamy to sit on the chair first,” Ilaiah said.
He pointed out that even before launching the election campaign last week, the TRS chief had prostrated before Jeeyar Swamy.“The seer has been dictating every decision to KCR, including distribution of river waters between the two Telugu states. It is because of Jeeyar’s advice, KCR has created 31 districts and allocated crores of rupees to temples across the state,” he said.
Describing Chinna Jeeyar Swamy as Telangana Yogi Adityanath, Kancha Ilaiah said if KCR becomes the chief minister again, the dominance of Andhras would only increase because of Chinna Jeeyar Swamy. He will throw the people in the ignorance by conducting yagams and pujas and will virtually dictate the government,” Ilaiah alleged.
Revanth To Storm KTR Bastion!
A couple of days ago, Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao’s son and IT minister K T Rama Rao addressed a huge rally at Kodangal, the assembly constituency represented by firebrand ex-MLA and Telangana PCC working president A Revanth Reddy.
Obviously, KTR wanted to prove that the TRS is going to break into Revanth’s citadel in Kodangal. Entrusted with the responsibility of winning Kodangal seat by his father, KTR is making all out efforts to achieve the objective. The TRS is said to be pumping more than Rs 100 crore in the constituency, besides mobilising all its senior leaders into the campaign.
Now, Revanth has decided to pay KTR in his own coin. On Saturday, Revanth is going to address rallies in Siricilla constituency, represented by KTR.The Congress leaders are leaving no stone unturned to make his campaign a big success.Revanth is going to campaign for Congress candidate K K Mahender Reddy in two places – Siricilla and Yellareddypet, which are considered to be TRS strongholds.
In 2009, Mahendar Reddy contested as TRS rebel and lost with just 171 votes. Later he shifted his loyalties to Congress and again contested against KTR in by-poll elections and got defeated. In 2014 elections, Mahendar didn’t get ticket and now in 2018 elections he is going to be in the electoral fray against KTR.Party sources said Revanth will focus on Nerella incident wherein Dalits and OBCs were tortured by the police for opposing illegal sand mafia of KTR’s associates.
He is also going to highlight the autocratic rule of KCR and other key issues plaguing the state.Besides Siricilla, the PCC working president is also going to address public in Vemulawada constituency. Aadi Srinivas from Congress is going to contest against TRS candidate Ramesh Babu is a close relative of MP Vinod Kumar. In fact, the Congress leaders want to rope in Sonia Gandhi to address public in Karimnagar but due to her ill-health, the schedule has been changed.
The leaders from Manthani, Ramgundam, Peddapally, Jagtial, Korutla and Dharmapuri constituencies are also asking Revanth to campaign for the party.
‘Disturbed by how some communities are targeted’
After working in a critically acclaimed film “Mulk”, which talked about ‘Islamophobia’ and dealt with other social issues, actress Taapsee Pannu feels happy and disturbed at the same time.”I am very happy with the way the audience has received the film but at the same time disturbed with the way some communities are picked out and targeted by the society,” Taapsee said in a statement.
The 31-year-old, who played a lawyer in “Mulk”, wanted to bring a change in society through the film. She said: “I took up this film to stand up for them and initiate a change. There were a few apprehensions initially about the character that I play, but I can now say with conviction that they have been put to rest.”Directed by Anubhav Sinha, the film features actors Rishi Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor, Neena Gupta, Prateik Babbar and Ashutosh Rana in pivotal roles.
As “Mulk” will be telecast on the small screen, Taapsee and Anubhav want people to understand “what film has actually tried to convey”.”I hope that with the television premiere, the message is conveyed and people realise it, thus taking that step against creating a difference,” added the actress.
“Mulk”, which released in August, did not get a smooth release as it faced a lot of backlash and criticism from people.
From the audience lashing out against the subject of the film to trolling of actors and calling them “anti-national”, the film was mired in several controversies.
For Sinha, making “Mulk” was quite challenging.
He said: “With the response the movie received during its theatrical release, I am happy to know that the Indian audience is mature and open to movies that are against the tide. “Making ‘Mulk’ was challenging as it not only addresses but also highlights the constant divide between the Hindus and Muslims. The movie is unlike any other Bollywood entertainer and was made with the intention to be heard rather than just talk about an issue on surface level.”
“Mulk” will have its world television premiere on And pictures channel on Sunday.
