Nani is one heck of an actor who could pull off his roles easily. And he always chooses roles with substance. Interestingly, he has signed a cricket-backdrop film and this is raising many eyeballs. And the film is being helmed by Gowtam Tinnanuri of Malli Raava fame.

The latest and exclusive update about the film is that Nani would portray not just a single or dual avatars, but he would be seen in three avatars in the Jersey. It is reliably learnt that Nani will play – a college student, a matured & married man and an old man. It is certainly a challenge for an actor to pull off such roles with ease but Nani seems to be quite confident while taking up such multiple shades in his character.

The film will also mark the Tollywood debut of Anu Emmanuel’s cousin Reba Monica John.

Ritu Varma has turned several heads in Tollywood with her performance in Pelli Choopulu. Apart from the film’s blockbuster success, Ritu’s role too got noticed. The She later acted opposite Nikhil’s Keshava and it was an okay for her as she couldn’t score any brownie points. Later, Ritu moved to Kollywood and signed 4 Tamil films.

Even as she got much-needed break in Telugu, Ritu shocked Telugu audiences and got busy in Tamil. However, what is now became talking point in film circuits is that she said to have lost a golden chance in Telugu. Ritu was initially approached for Adivi Sesh’s Goodachari and she had also given her nod for the role. But for reasons best known to her, she later walked out of the project. And it went to Sobhita Dhulipala. Now Sobhita is getting all applause for her role.

Despite having limited screen presence, Sobhita’s character has a great importance in the script. Ritu is now said to be regretting for not acting in Goodachari. Made with a budget of Rs 3 to 4 Crore, the spy thriller is now creating wonders at the Tollywood Box Office.

Neha Sharma, known to Telugu audience with her debut in Ram Charan’s Chirutha is going all hot again. Neha posed in superhot bikinis for Maxim India magazine photo shoot and here are those pictures.

On film front, Neha is busy with two films this year, the fun entertainer Hera Pheri 3 and Junga.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchans iconic status never comes in the way of her duties as a mother, a wife, daughter and daughter-in-law — in that order. She says she has tried to keep the atmosphere around daughter Aaradhya “as normal as possible”.Just how she manages to fulfil all her and still finds time to be one of India’s most recognised celebrities, is a mystery. Not to the lady herself, though.

“It’s something I’ve grown up with. From the time I was 18, I’ve been juggling with many responsibilities. My day begins at 5.30 a.m. It has been that way from the time I remember. Of course, after Aaradhya my priorities have changed completely. She comes first, everything else is secondary,” Aishwarya said.”Do you know Aaradhya saw her mother’s film for the first time? I mean, she had of course seen me on television and doing songs. But ‘Fanney Khan’ is my first film where she actually sat through the whole film,” she added.

And what did Aaradhya think of her performance?

“I think her smiling eyes said it all. She had actually seen me shoot a part of my song in ‘Fanney Khan’. So when she heard there was a screening, she expressed a wish to see the film with all her friends and their parents. So all her friends came with their parents and had a good time.

“I was happy to let ‘Fanney Khan’ be the first film Aaradhya watches. It has a positive message for viewers of all ages and there’s nothing in it that children cannot watch. In any case, Aaradhya is constantly singing and dancing at home, sometimes to my songs, sometimes to her father’s and her grandfather’s songs. It’s a normal household. We’re trying to keep the atmosphere around Aaradhya as normal as possible.”

Aishwarya is not one of those star moms whose child is seen more with the nanny than the mother.Laughing at the observation, Aishwarya said: “Aaradhya does have a nanny. In fact, I am told I should have two of them because the one that I have, tends to take off on long holidays. But it doesn’t really matter. I like doing everything for Aaradhya myself, though with my kind of schedules it is not always possible to do so.”

But Aishwarya’s mother helps out.

The actress and former beauty queen said she grew up in an atmosphere where her mother was always hands-on.”So it never even occurred to me that it could be otherwise.”Managing her sprawling career and her domestic responsibilities is not easy.”Every home maker who is a working woman is a hero. It requires a lot of juggling with time. And a supportive husband, which I luckily have.”Aishwarya is looking at doing handpicked roles, like the one in Karan Johar’s “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” and now “Fanney Khan”.

“I always knew my role in ‘Fanney Khan’ was small. When I was promoting the film, I never gave the impression that I was there throughout the film. Rakeysh Mehra and his wife P.S. Bharathi (who has co-produced ‘Fanney Khan’) narrated the idea to me and I loved it.”

It’s almost as though the role of the pop diva was written for Aishwarya.

“That’s how the audience have perceived my presence. Once I was on board, I became totally involved with the development of the character, her relationship with the character played by Rajkummar Rao, her clothes, the song… I loved the concept. And Anil Kapoor as the father of the daughter brought his personal emotions into the part. He was so sincere.”

Mehra has said Aishwarya contributed a lot to her character.

She says it was a “small but pivotal role”.

“I don’t look at my roles in terms of the footage. To me, the role should define my personality and the character I am playing. But now Rakeysh needs to do a full-fledged film with me.”

Timing the release is the key for any film these days. It is no use even if you make a good product if you cannot release it on right time. Last Friday release Chi La Sow is struggling to find audience in spite of generating positive word of mouth. It is clearly struggling because of Goodachari that opened to better reviews and talk.

Chi La Sow was actually planned for release on July 27, but the release date was pushed by a week after Nagarjuna joined as one of the partners. They decided to postpone the film to Aug 3rd keeping overseas market in view. They didn’t want to compete with Hollywood mega budget film Mission Impossible that also released on July 27th. As Chi La Sow is a film that caters to overseas and multiplex audience, they pushed the release to August 3.

Little did they know that Adivi Sesh’s film that was planned for August 3rd release could be a bigger threat. Goodachari caught the attention of film lovers and overseas audience with intriguing promos and therefore it was the first choice for audience among last week releases. Chi La Sow on the other hand has Sushanth as the lead. He is yet to make an impression as an actor especially with the target audience of Chi La Sow.

It is yet another miscalculation from Nag who released his son’s film Hello against red hot MCA, which eventually turned out to be a mega blunder.
