Adivi Sesh starrer Goodachari has lived up to the promise it has shown with its promos. The film has received rave reviews from all the noted critics and also generated superb word of mouth.Goodachari collections picked up by Friday evening everywhere and has totally dominated the Saturday box office in spite of other new releases.

Chi La Sow produced by Nagarjuna and co. opened on a decent note in cities, but is not anywhere close to Goodachari numbers.Brand Babu branded as Maruthi’s film failed to get noticed amid Goodachari and Chi La Sow. Star producer Dil Raju is betting all his chips on Srinivasa Kalyanam to be a mammoth blockbuster. He is so confident on the success of Srinivasa Kalyanam to an extent that he didn’t bother about the failure of his previous film Lover. He has totally ignored Lover both prior and post release without even making an attempt to push the film through promotions.

Dil Raju confidently states that Srinivasa Kalyanam is going to be a classic like Bommarillu from his production house. As Dil Raju beams with confidence, rumor mills say that he has ghost-directed most part of the film with the help of cinematographer. Dil Raju has the habit of making corrections to his films at the editing table. His decision is final on the final cut of most of his films.

But for Srinivasa Kalyanam, Dil Raju has been there on the sets all the time and called the shots, according to the grapevine. Director Vegesna Satish has been a mere spectator on the sets as Dil Raju discussed shots and framings with the cinematographer it seems. Wonder why Satish needed someone supervising his direction after delivering a blockbuster with his previous film.

An upcoming film titled 24 Kisses looks like another bold film in the lines of RX 100. Hebah Patel and Adith Arun (Garuda Vega fame) are the lead pair in the film directed by Ayodhya Kumar Krishnamsetty.The lead pair is seen locking lips everywhere and the extended teaser cut shows more than a couple of steamy lip locks of Adith and Hebah.

RX 100 became blockbuster with similar promotional strategy. So the makers of 24 Kisses also are promoting the hot stuff to grab the attention of target audience.Interestingly, Ayodhya Kumar’s previous film was a critically acclaimed off beat film Minugurulu.

Now he is targeting a section of youth and masses with the stuff they would love to watch on big screen.Hebah is known for doing bold characters, but this seems to be a bolder one with far too many lip locks. Rao Ramesh who played a key role in RX 100 is playing a comical role in this one.

Adivi Sesh has scored back-to-back successes with Kshanam and Goodachari. But heroines should think twice before agreeing to be paired opposite him.

The handsome hunk is writing the scripts of his films himself and in both Kshanam and Goodachari, he killed his leading ladies Adah Sharma and Shobita Dhulipala.Therefore, the heroine of his next film Shivani Rajasekhar has every reason to feel relieved as the movie is a remake of the Bollywood hit 2 States and the heroine of that film Alia Bhatt does not die.

But had Sesh written the remake of 2 States instead of director Venkat, then who knows? In that sense, Shivani Rajasekhar can consider herself a lucky girl.

Kamal Hassan’s upcoming film Vishwaroopam 2 is in for yet another controversy.Pyramid Saimira Productions International has now moved a civil suit against Kamal for recovery of Rs 5.44 crore that was paid to the actor’s Raaj Kamal Films International for making the film Marmayogi.According to the agreement, Kamal was to script, direct and do the lead role in the film.

The production house claims that as per a memorandum of understanding that was signed with Raaj Kamal Films International, Rs 10.90 crore was paid by Pyramid Saimira. Kamal, in September 2008, had even written a confirmation mail on the receipt of the money.They have expressed concern, stating that the actor has not proceeded with the work of the film. They have also claimed that the advance and remuneration for the film has not been returned by the actor.

Kamal Haasan has released several films in the last ten years but has still not returned the advance taken from Pyramid Saimira.The production house has made an allegation that the esteemed actor has been using the fund taken for Marmayogi to make other films, and a due petition was filed to recover the amount. Kamal had released his earlier films by furnishing a bank guarantee to the court.

The petitioner claimed that Kamal is in no condition to repay the money owed to Pyramid Saimira.Pyramid Saimira pointed out that the reason why Kamal has associated with Aascar production in this film is due to Kamal’s lack of resources to produce the film alone.The Madras High court has now asked Kamal to respond to the petitioner’s plea to stay Vishwaroopam 2.

Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan, whike talking to the media at the Chennai airport, said that he will deal with the case in court and also added that the release of Vishwaroopam 2 will take place as per plan.
