Dil Raju’s latest release Lover has been receiving lukewarm response from audience. Raju absolutely failed in building buzz around Lover, but his upcoming film Srinivasa Kalyanam is being promoted in the right way.Every poster that is released until now is in tune with its title and theme. In the latest poster of Srinivasa Kalyanam, hero Nithin is seen putting a jewel on Rashi Khanna’s leg, which is another beautifully captured moment.

Audio of Srinivasa Kalyanam will start streaming from tomorrow. Mickey J Meyer who has a fabulous record in scoring music for family oriented films is the music director for it.

Vegesna Satish of Shatamanam Bhavati is the director. The film is gearing up for theatrical release on August 9.

The much-awaited debut of Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor’s film Dhadak finally hit theatres on Friday. According to a report in dailyhunt, Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi and Ishaan, both got paid Rs 60 lakh for their work in Dhadak.Meanwhile, seasoned actor Ashutosh Rana, who plays Janhvi’s father in the film – Rana Singh, took home Rs 80 lakh as payment for this one.

Ajay-Atul, the music director duo, who were the composers of both Dhadak and Sairat, of which Dhadak is an adaptation, took home Rs 1.5 crore.The music in the film has been specifically loved by fans and critics alike. It captured the same nuances of Sairat while adding the Bollywood masala and dance beats to it.

Meanwhile, director of the film, Shashank Khaitan, who has delivered two blockbusters for Dharma Productions so far in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania that starred Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt, took home the biggest pay cheque – Rs 4 crore.

Meanwhile, Nagraj Manjule, who wrote and directed the Marathi film Sairat, was paid Rs 2 crore, we assume for securing the rights to get a remake done.

Many blamed mega-producer Dil Raju for not spending heavily on “Lover” promotions. At the same time, his direct revelation that they have spent hugely on the film as the story has demanded despite Raj Tarun’s market is yet to cemented, have created a commotion.

Fact is that Dil Raju has guessed the film’s result in a right way. He knows that other than the colourful visuals and couple of scenes, there is not much soul inside the movie which could bind the viewers to the screens. A source revealed that Dil Raju saved 1 crore from getting waste with his tactic.

While the film is made in 8 crores budget, they should have spent easily 1 crore to promote it on various platforms. But Dil Raju invested only a meager amount for promotions and saved almost one crore for his company. Going by the box office talk, the whole investment is likely to get whitewashed.

Film experts are opining that Raju has made a wise move by not investing much in promotions. But he should have taken more care as a producer by not allowing the film to slip into an unlimited budget mode.

All the hoopla and hungama around anchor Pradeep Machiraju’s entry into Big Boss 2 ended up as a short-lived happiness only. Because he’s there on the show only to promote his upcoming ‘Swayamvaram’ kind of TV show and left the house after a few hours of interaction with inmates.

Other day it happens to be the birthday of both Mahesh Babu’s daughter Sitara and Ram Charan’s wife, Apollo lady Upasana Kamineni. Firstly Upasana posted a video of Ram Charan on her social media page, where he wished Sitara a happy birthday and felt happy that the kid and Upsi, as she fondly calls his wife, share the same birth date.

And later in the day, Mahesh shared a video where his daughter Sitara spoke, wishing Upasana aunty a happy birthday. The kid also thanked Charan as the Mega couple was said to have sent her some real pet birds as a gift.

The teaser of director Sampath Nandi’s second production ‘Paper Boy’ is out. The 62 seconds video starts off introducing the lead cast, Santosh Shoban and Riya Suman.The couple appear fresh and what we can see in the teaser is a neat and cute presentation of love story. Cinematography by Soundar Rajan is the biggest asset for the film and the visuals of the teaser look rich and vibrant.

Hero Santosh Shoban, though a newcomer comes up with a subtle performance. When the leading lady asks why he is working as a paper boy after graduating in engineering, Santosh gives a smart reply… “Adi Bathakadam Kosam… Idi Bhavishyathu Kosam” which is quite sensible.
