Responding to the ‘copy’ allegations on his forthcoming film Officer, Nagarjuna has clarified that the film is based on a real-life person and it cannot be copy of any other story or anyone’s work.

When asked about the rumours that the film is a ‘free’make of Hollywood flick Taken, Nag quickly said that the law will take its own course if there is any such legal issue in the film.

Ask him whether Nag had questioned Ram Gopal Varma about his controversies or his tweets. Pat comes reply from Nag. “During the film’s shoot, the only conversation between RGV and Nag is about our film. Nothing more or nothing less. I never intruded into RGV’s personal space or never did he. Even I never let anyone tell me what I should do or what I should not do. In fact, I don’t even tell my children Chaitu or Akhil to be certain way.”

Agreeing that he is doing more films than his grown up sons Naga Chaitanya and Akhil, Nagarjuna said that Chaitu is telling him that he is doing more films and he need not worry since he is well-established than Chai.

“Chai and Akhil are more choosy. They are very conscious about their films. At this juncture of career, I could select any role or any experimental film since I could survive a flop and could work for my next unaffected. For them, it takes time,” shared Nagarjuna.

Currently working on his ongoing multi-starrer with Nani, Nag revealed that it is going to be out-and-out entertainer as the film is between a Mafia Don and a Doctor. Nag said he has big line up of films that he needs to confirm the order. He says he is mulling over to sign Mohanlal and Priyadarshan’s Kunjali Marakkar, a film based on the life of a 16th century Muslim naval chief Kunjali Makkar IV. It is likely to be Priyadarshan’s most expensive film and Nag has been asked to play a crucial role in the film.

Meanwhile, Nag is also in talks with actor Dhanush’s directorial which he wanted to make for his father-in-law Superstar Rajinikanth and his political debut.

What’s happening with Superstar Rajnikanth’s upcoming film “Kaala” which is pending a release from a time. Despite fixing June 7th as a release date, it looks like two big forces are going to stop the mighty hero from going ahead.

Reports have that Censor Board is having some issue with the Hindi version of the movie to go ahead. As the film deals with politics based out of a Mumbai slum, it looks like ruling BJP sarkar is unhappy with the film’s content as Rajni took a political plunge as well into Tamilnadu politics. If that is Hindi version, then Kannada version is not going to see light as the distributors took a call to not release movie owing to tensions between two states over Kaveri issue.

If political force is the first big thing that is posing as a major hurdle for Rajni, the second one is the age-old creature, the mighty dinosaur. Recently the release date of Jurassic World: The Fallen Kingdom has got advanced by a day in India, and the film is now hitting cinemas on June 7th. Nearly 2300+ screens are going to screen the movie in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and English versions across the country. Some distributors are said to be requesting Rajni to defer the release at least by a day such that Jurassic World will not dent Rajni’s collections.

Though Superstar has the big advantage over Dinosaurs, as his craze is pretty big than any other star, he should at least overcome Censor hurdles to get Kaala bang on target. Let’s see what happens.

Director Sreenu Vaitla has teamed up with Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja for ‘Amar Akbar Antony.’ This film is being completely canned in the United States and accordingly Vaitla is using high-end technology for the shooting.

‘Amar Akbar Antony’ is the first Telugu film to be shot on Red Monstro and Zeiss Supreme Lenses. The film will have two different seasons of the US and to enhance the visual experience, Vaitla has come up with his thought of using new tech stuff.

One pre-release event is not enough to bring huge attention towards a movie, but Rajugadu is making sure that this event leads to their massive strike on box office on June 1st. Yes, Raj Tarun’s latest movie Rajugadu is hitting cinemas on 1st and last night the film’s pre-release event took place.

What made Raj Tarun kick start promotions of the film pretty slowly is not known, but his kleptomaniac acts on silver screen should click big time. In the recent times, this youngster emerged as one dependable hero for small-budgeted filmmakers. He scored some good hits but later failed to get at least big openings.

Raj Tarun’s last outings like Rangula Ratnam, Andhagadu, Kittu Unnadu Jagratha didn’t fare well at box office, pushing the young hero into the doldrums. He has now pinned all the hopes of Sanjana Reddy directorial Raajugadu. Producers and distributors are now looking forward to seeing if Raj Tarun will emerge as a minimum guarantee hero during this crisis hour as the trailer of the film is also partly impressing. If he emerges, then he will no be looking back for another few years. Else, his career will be in trouble.

To emerge as a minimum guarantee hero, Raj Tarun’s film should get above-average ratings in the first place. Hope the young hero proves himself with Rajugadu, which co-stars Amyra Dastur as the leading lady.
