Prasthanam, one of the most critically acclaimed political drama lands in Bollywood. The film is going to be remade by director Deva Katta himself and actor Sanjay Dutt is signed to play the lead role.

The shooting of this remake will begin on June 1st which happens to be Sanjay Dutt’s mother Nargis Dutt’s birth anniversary. Ali Fazal and Amyra Dastur will be part of this remake as well.

Sanjay Dutt has come forward to pull the financial resources as well and he would be bankrolling ‘Prasthanam’ remake under his home banner, Sanjay Dutt Productions.

‘Prasthanam’ was a trend setter movie and won many awards. We expect the same show in Bollywood too.

Savyasachi’s makers at Mythri Movie Makers didn’t think twice before shelling out such a fat paycheck to Tamannaah, as she will bring in the masses in huge numbers.
