Trivikram’s Surprise Tomorrow ?
Director Trivikram is not being seen anywhere in the film events that happened in the last few months. They say that the flop show of Agnyaathavasi has hit him hard and that is the reason he’s not facing cinema lovers at events. But he has started his next film with Jr NTR in a swift time.
Into its second schedule already, #NTR28 is being carved by Trivikram at jet speed, they say. However, the director is mending one of his old habit where he loves to release first look and title of his movies only after he wraps the shoot. Just weeks before release, we come to know about titles like “A..Aa” and “Agnyaathavasi”. But now, Trivikram is deleting that ‘waiting’ option from his diary.
Rather making NTR’s fans to wait until October as the film is set for Dasara release, Trivikram will be sharing the title and First Look tomorrow. On the eve of Jr NTR’s birthday on May 20th, the first look of this movie is being released on 19th evening along with the title. That’s a first of its kind from Trivikram for sure.
As per rumours doing rounds, “Asamanyudu” is the title of this film but they say that there is another title that is picked by Trivikram and his team. Whatever it may be, the secret will be out in two more days. Get ready folks.
Why Purandeshwari Was Ignored By BJP?
Much to the surprise of many and shock of some Mr Kanna Lakshmi Narayana was elected as the Chief of AP BJP a few days back. While some say it’s a wise decision keeping the community based voters in point of view, others say that BJP ignored a bigger better choice for this position.
Experts opine that had Purandeshwari was given the position, there would have been a better attention from all corners. Purandeshwari is well known in entire nation as the daughter of Late NTR and that would have certainly attracted the eye balls of national media as well. Positioning a woman in such powerful position also would have made sense. She would also had got a better opportunity to prove her mettle to her party. She is capable of holding that responsibility as well, as many say. But why she was ignored is the big question.
Inside sources say that she was first approached by the BJP top heads, but she denied the proposal quoting some personal reasons and only then the buck was passed on to Kanna Lakshmi Narayana.
NPS: Flop Here, Hit There!
Allu Arjun might have undergone rigorous workout and hard work for the role of army soldier Surya in his patriotic drama Naa Peru Surya. While the film bombed in Telugu big time, all his efforts are not gone waste as at least, the film said to have got reasonably good reception in Malayalam and Tamil. Apparently the film did decently well in Malayalam and Tamil versions.
According to the film’s unit, the Mayalam version – Ente Peeru Surya Ente Veedu India – said to have grossed Rs 5 Crore in Kerala in 12 days and is still running strong in 80 screens. They are expecting that the Malayalam version of Naa Peru Surya is likely to cross the Sarrainodu record of Allu Arjun in Kerala.
Sarrainodu (released as Yodhavu in Malayalam) said to have grossed Rs 7.60 Cr in its full run. Naa Peru Surya is likely to cross this mark this week.
On the other hand, the film also said to have performed better than what was expected. This is the blessing in disguise moment for Allu Arjun and his fans. Fans seem to be happy that at least their hero’s film did well in other states by once again proving his strong base outside Telugu states. Even Mahesh’s Bharat Ane Nenu did moderately well in Tamil than it was expected. Thanks to his last film Spyder which seems to have helped Mahesh in Bharat. On the whole, it’s good sign that the Telugu films are doing good in other states, other markets.
Kar’nataka’ : This Is The Only Option Before Supreme Court
All eyes are on Supreme Court in the ongoing political crisis in Karnataka. Challenging the decision of Governor Vajubhai Vala who invited Yeddyurappa to swear-in as the CM despite not having required numbers, Congress and JD(S) combine has moved the Apex Court on Wednesday late night. The SC bench has asked for the letters submitted by Yedyurappa to Governor dated May 15 and May 16 claiming stake to form the government in state. As Attorney General KK Venugopal, appearing for the Centre and Yeddyurappa, is supposed to produce these letters today, the entire nation is looking at Supreme Court on what will happen.
Supreme Court Cannot Compel Governor
Article 163, 164 grant powers to the Governor to act according to his discretion while appointing a chief minister and a council of ministers. So, there is no precedent or any previous judgement of Supreme Court on how the Governor should exercise his discretion while appointing a government.
The Governor can also refuse to be a part of the proceedings citing his privilege and protection under Article 163 which grants him limited discretionary power to him along with immunity from any court proceedings. It will be a bold argument for the Executive to make before the Supreme Court and refuse to give any list.
If the Governor through the Attorney General refuses to share names or details of people who are supporting the BJP, the Supreme Court cannot force or compel. They can call for a constitution bench or pass a verbally criticizing order but cannot cancel swearing-in of a Chief Minister of a state because he could not show names to the Supreme Court since it is not possible under the present law.
Anti-Defection Applicable Only After Swearing-In
When the topic arises that how BJP would get its numbers as independents are only 2 and it needs 6 more MLAs to get magic figure, the question is how will the BJP manage without being caught on the wrong side of anti-defection law? The answer sounds legally correct from AG’s point of view.
Anti-defection law is applicable only after swearing-in of MLAs. This is a strong legal point. Attorney General Venugopal has already raised this before the SC in the last hearing. The argument of AG representing, Governor and Karnataka CM, is when MLAs have not taken oath yet, then anti-defection is not applicable.
But what about the faith reposed by the Constitution on elected politicians and what about the trust, faith of people who voted them. This is subjected for hot discussion and wide debate.
Reduce the Time of 15 Days
This is the only option that Supreme Court has right now. So far when matters of horse-trading or poaching or alleged abuse of power by Governors have emerged, courts decided to reduce the time in order to minimize such acts.
In many cases, the recent being Goa, the Supreme court asked the floor test to be done within 48 hours to avoid poaching of MLAs. The Congress team backed by top lawyers such as Abhishek Singhvi is very much aware of the fact reducing the 15-day time period is the only practical result that they can legally achieve.
PS: What Governor of Karnataka did could be morally, ethically wrong. But legally, he can easily get away and so Yeddyurappa. Only after weighing all these options, BJP seems to have made its moves. But the only possible way is the reducing deadline for the Floor Test where BSY has to prove his majority within the deadline. Even Congress and JD(S) are wanting this in order to defeat Yeddyurappa in Floor Test. One has to wait and watch, what Supreme Court would pronounce in today’s much-awaited hearing.

She alleged that it was not her father who made Savitri habituated to liquor as shown in the film. Apart from that she also expressed her grief for showing as if Gemini Ganesan loved only Savitri but not Alimelu.

Why Prakash Raj Wants BJP Mukt Bharat?
Thumping popularity as talented film actor in five states, well known face even for the Bollywood audience, proficient speaker in six languages, voracious reader, prolific writer, caretaker of Kondareddypalli village in Telangana State and last but not the least 2.2 Million followers on twitter- this forms the gigantic image of Prakash Raj.
Right now, Prakash Raj is more famous for representing the politics in his birth state Karnataka.
He has first made bold open statements earlier, lamenting about the death of writer Gowri Lankesh who was allegedly assassinated by right fundamentalists. Since then, his tongue turned more sharper against BJP and his fingers never relaxed from tweeting against the politics in BJP ruled states. He has an agenda for sure and that seems to see BJP-Mukt Bharat.
Why did he develop hatred on right fundamentalists? Is it only because of the assassination of his dear friend Gowri? Some insiders say that there is something more to this. On a whole, he made a firm impact in Karnataka politics with his recent campaigning, in a far better way than what Kamala Hassan and Rajni Kanth have made in Tamilnadu so far.
One may be liked by some and disliked by many, but he needs to take a path irrespective of looking behind to know how many are following him. Prakash Raj seems to be moving with such conviction and that makes him a stronger leader down the line.

This is What Makes Chandrababu Different From Rest
Praise him or criticize him, but one has to admit the fact that Chandrababu Naidu is one of the most hard-working chief ministers of India today. At 68, Naidu puts himself to a lot of physical and mental strain. Besides being a good administrator, Naidu is also the trouble-shooter who is very good at disaster management. Below are a few incidents which demonstrated Naidu’s dedication and commitment.
The boat tragedy in Manturu of Devipatnam is another such example that illustrates Naidu’s disaster management skill. CM Chandrababu not just personally visited and monitored the operations of NDRF (National Disaster Response Force), he made sure the works are done at fast pace. Yes, it was a tragedy which claimed many lives, but Naidu’s efforts to reach out to a very distant location in Devipatnam of East Godavari district deserves a pat on his back. A CM need not personally visit the site. But Naidu did it. He has instructed officials for swift measures and even announced 10 Lakh ex-gratia to each deceased member’s family. No doubt, this can’t bring back one life, but at least this could help the bereaved families to an extent when they lost their family member. But in the whole incident, Naidu’s dedication towards people is what makes him a different CM from the rest of the Chief Ministers today.
Even the Dachepalli incident shown Naidu’s commitment against crimes on women, children. He not just ensured a swift inquiry, but deployed so many forces to resolve the case. He personally visited victim, her family and assured all sort of aid. Chandrababu promised the parents of 9-yr-old rape victim that he would personally sponsor her education throughout from his own earnings. Be it in Kathua or Unnao which saw a national outrage, none of the CMs of the respective states did try to meet victim or victim’s family. Whereas, Chandrababu is a committed leader who did it. He even participated in an awareness rally sending strong signals to men who would involve in assaults against women, children.
When massive cyclone Hudhud had hit Vizag in 2014, the port city was left battered and bruised which cause huge financial loss besides loss of lives. Risking his life, CM Naidu rushed to Vizag, stayed there in a bus and saw to it the relief measures are taken. In record time, he got the city back on its feet. CBN turned Vizag into one of the cleanest cities in India in just a year.
No doubt, Naidu government has its own shortcomings and mired in a lot of issues. But one must admit that Chandrababu is a hard-working CM. The best part of him is that he never gives scope to his opposition parties to take on him and he makes sure the work is done even before Opposition parties respond. In that way, Naidu is making opposition leaders jobless.
