The entire Telugu film industry and movie connoisseurs have been raving about Mahanati, the landmark biopic on legendary actress Savitri. Director Sukumar took to Facebook and penned a moving post to Mahanati’s director Nag Ashwin after watching Mahanati.

Sukumar revealed an emotional incident with an old woman soon after Mahanati’s screening. Sukumar revealed that an old woman came to him and asked him if he was a director. When Sukumar told her “yes”, she immediately hugged him and started crying, telling him, “how beautifully you have shown my Savithramma”. “I was in tears,” admitted Sukumar.

The Rangasthalam director further said that he has been trying to reach Nag Ashwin on his number ever since the above incident took place. “I couldn’t tell her that it wasn’t me who directed Mahanati. She blessed me wholeheartedly. For a few moments, I was happy to become you. What else can I say about the experience I have had after watching Mahanati?,” Sukumar said.

Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia married her best friend Angad Bedi in Sikh tradition at Gurudwara in New Delhi. The couple announced their wedding on Social media with photos.

A day after ‘Mahanati’ theatrical release, the makers have revealed the look of hero Naga Chaitanya who played the role of his grandfather and the legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao.

Allu Arjun had great trust in Vakkantam Vamsi’s script that he had not only given him an opportunity as a director but also had put in lot of efforts for portraying Surya.

Allu Arjun’s hard work is visible in every frame of Naa Peru Surya Naa illu India. Allu Arjun was so confident about NSNI that he didn’t even try to test the capabilities of Vamsi as a director.

However, NSNI didn’t live up to Arjun’s hopes on the box office front. The film has been struggling right from day 2 and couldn’t pick up from there.Allu Arjun has been desperately trying to boost its collections by doing various promotional programs.

He took the help of a few directors to keep the film in news, but there isn’t any upward trend in its collection graph.Now Pawan Kalyan is stepping in for pulling it to safe zone. Pawan is attending the thanks meet of NSNI today.

But with Mahanati opening to superb response all over and a notable film like Mehabooba hitting screens tomorrow, there is little hope for Surya to pick up and crawl to safety. Perhaps it is time for Allu Arjun to accept the result and move on.

Kotha emi Kaadu” (This is not new to me, I’m accustomed to this,” says Allu Arjun, talking about the mixed talk. “Other than Racegurram, which got a blockbuster talk from first show onwards, none of my films got that super hit talk. They start with a mixed talk and they do well” he adds.

However Bunny also mentioned that his efforts are always genuine no matter what the talk is. “I deliver my 100% effort and work more hard for every film to ensure that it will be liked by all. I look forward only if that hard work paid off or not. Even if my film scores a hit when I didn’t work hard, I will not consider that success as mine” he said, adding that the talk around Naa Peru Surya is good now.

Director Vakkantam Vamsi, however, has another opinion to share: “The first two shows are actually watched by so-called judges and their duty is to find mistakes and highlight them. But the real audience start coming from the evening and they are happy with the core point of the film” said Vakkantam.

Anyway, in the end, we’ve collections that will speak the truth, reflecting the real success. Hope NPS ends up as a safe project for all.
