Veteran actor Dr Manchu Mohan Babu is absolutely ecstatic with the response for his look from the movie ‘Mahanati’. Mohan Babu is playing the role of the great SV Ranga Rao in the movie.
Expressing his happiness, Mohan Babu shared an image of himself with SVR in his official Twitter handle and added that he met SVR during the early stage of his filmy career and never thought would portray him.
Based on the life of one and only lady superstar Savitri, ‘Mahanati’ will feature a bunch of legendary actors and technicians (played by contemporary actors) of Telugu cinema who belong to the 1950s era.
The film is releasing on May 9th.
Reason Behind Mohan Babu & Chiru’s Absence At Dasari Birth Anniversary
Telugu film industry has come forward and celebrated Dasari Narayana Rao’s birth anniversary on May 4th by installing his statue in the Telugu Film Chamber and even declared the day as Directors’ Day.
But two prominent personalities from Tollywood who are very close to the legendary director were absent at the do. The two in question were none other than Dr Mohan Babu and Megastar Chiranjeevi. Mohan Babu, who was seen alongside Dasari during his final moments, is not present at the Dasari’s birth anniversary celebrations kicked up a storm. But here are the reasons behind Mohan Babu and Chiru staying away from the event.
According to sources, Mohan Babu has recently undergone major shoulder surgery in the US and just returned to house on the same day of the birth anniversary of Dasari. Hence, Mohan Babu couldn’t make it to the event paying tribute to Dasari.
On the other hand, Chiranjeevi was also in the US to attend the fund-raiser event of the Movie Artistes’ Association (MAA) to donate the amount for the construction of the building of the MAA. This is why even Chiru couldn’t make it to the do.
So, rumours circulating online that both Mohan Babu and Chiranjeevi skipping Dasari’s birth anniversary celebrations are not true.

While Vijay Mallya-Kingfisher bank loan fraud was pegged at Rs 9000 Crore, Nirav Modi-Mehul Choksi-PNB scam is the biggest of all with Rs 12,700 Crore. Allu Arjun Joining Indian Army For Real
