Savyasaachi last shooting schedule has begun today in New York where a song and some talkie part will be shot. With this entire production will be wrapped up.Seems like, the team Savyasaachi is having fun time shooting for the film in New York. There is a hint of bliss in faces of all the artists.

NPS: Solid Impact? Or Slow Impact?
Big films talking about their 100 crores gross collection through some posters became a debatable topic in Tollywood right now. Even before the films touch such numbers, makers are coming up with inflated numbers.
Cut to Naa Peru Surya, the film opened to mixed talk from critics like Bunny’s previous films including DJ Duvvada Jagannadham, Sarrainodu and S/o Satya Murthy. However, the makers have immediately come up with the posters “Solid Impact” on the second day itself. Needless to say that the film collected close to 21+ crores ‘share’ from across the globe on its landing day from all versions and that is good. But what is to be seen here, how is it going to be in the coming days.
If audiences start liking the film no matter what the critics say, definitely the film will have a “Slow Impact” at the box office thereby amassing big figures. But if the word of mouth also turns to be slow, then there will be “No Impact” at all. In all likelihood, the film should collect nearly 75+ crores to save the distributors from incurring any losses. Will Bunny swim against the tide and achieve this is something we have to see.
In case if reports are true that Naa Peru Surya will be extensively promoted from Monday, then the film might get somewhat lucky. Otherwise, we have to see what’s in store for them really.
Kalyan Ram Going Against Biggies’ Decision?
On Sunday (May 6th) we have the audio launch of “Na Nuvve” which features Kalyan Ram and Tamanna in the leads. Already the posters of the film where our milky siren is oozing her sensuous appeal have become a talk of the town. Here is another snippet.
Already many know that during Naa Peru Surya pre-release event, few channels have got into a war with organisers of the event, demanding a live feed of the event. But now, makers of Kalyan Ram’s film have openly declared that they are going to give ‘live’ feed to all the TV channels from top to no-rated channels without any discrimination. So, what does this mean?
Do we need to read it as Kalyan Ram don’t want to stand by the decision taken by biggies and go supportive of the media? Naturally that doubt arises, but actually, it is heard that film biggies have taken a decision to not sell ‘audio launch’ telecast rights to any channels. Because the whole difference of attacking Pawan Kalyan started only when Agnyaathavasi pre-release rights are sold to one particular news channel, irritating others.
On the other hand, we hear that already an understanding has come between media folks and TV channels about the way Tollywood will be treated from now. It’s all a money-game and game for money in the end.
Jump Into A Well, Roja Tells Naidu!
Known for his acerbic tongue, YSR Congress party MLA R K Roja on Saturday made no-holds-barred attack Telugu Desam Party president and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu for failing to give protection to women and minor girls in the state.Reacting on the Dachepalli minor girl rape incident, Roja said it was shameful on the part of the Chandrababu Naidu government to take two days to find out the whereabouts of the rapist who was just 10 km away from the incident.
“Naidu has proved a “chetakaani daddamma” (inefficient fellow). Why don’t he find a well and jump into it for allowing such heinous crimes in his government?” she asked.On the allegation that YSRC had politicised the Dachepalli incident, the YSRC MLA said it was only because of the pressure exerted by her party that Naidu had come down to call on the rape victim and extended help to her family.
“There were 11 such incidents in different parts of the state. Why didn’t Naidu call on all the victims? Why did he visit only Dachepalli rape victim? Was it not because of the YSRC who stood by her and fought for justice to her?” she asked.She reminded that Naidu had demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi holding him responsible for the Kathua rape incident in Jammu.
“Why don’t Naidu do the same taking responsibility for Dachepalli rape incident? Does he have the moral right to continue in his post?” Roja asked.
BJP Gives Tickets To Porn-Watched Ex Ministers
Even as there is huge uproar, protest by people against crimes on women and rise of rapes against children, women, BJP has decided to field two former ministers, who were caught allegedly watching ‘adult content’ inside the Karnataka Assembly back in 2012, in the 2018 general elections. The move by BJP has surprised and shocked many activists who have been fighting for women safety and waging war against crimes on women.
Much to the dismay of public, back in 2012, then Cooperation minister Laxman Savadi was caught watching adult content on his mobile phone while the Assembly session was going on. Then Environment and Ports minister J Krishna Palemar and Women and Child Welfare Minister CC Patil had also joined Laxman. This shocking incident had led to national outrage and BJP was left embarrassed. All three of them were made to resign then.
Now, after six years, by giving tickets to two among the three in the current elections, BJP has been in the spotlight. While CC Patil is contesting on BJP ticket from Nargund Assembly constituency, Laxman Savadi is contesting from Athani constituency.
A farmers’ leader, Laxman Savadi of the BJP has good support among voters despite being caught watching pornography in the state assembly. He had won seven of the eight elections. Laxman is all set to contest his fifth election in Athani. Yet, BJP banking on Laxman has invited ire of a section of people who have been seeking women safety. Among the three who were caught watching adult content in Assembly, only Palemar has been left out by the BJP.

It took huge time for Akhil to find a leading lady for his debut film Akhil. The likes of Alia Bhatt to many others are considered but finally, they settled with Sayesha Saigal. Then for his second film “Hello”, they took some months before signing Kalyani Priyadarshan. But for this third film, they are not going to waste time it seems.
Right now Naga Chaitanya is romancing Bollywood siren, Nidhi Agarwal, as they paired up for “Savyasachi”. Without any second thoughts, now she’s almost finalized for Tholiprema fame Venky Atluri’s next with Akhil. Seems like Akkineni brothers joined the mega camp way!!!
Can Pawan Dare To Contest in Palakollu?
Pawan’s statement to contest in all the 175 constituencies of AP has stirred a big debate in Godavari districts. Since Kapu voters are largely based in these two districts, naturally, all eyes are on from where Pawan would contest. Given that Palakollu from West Godavari is close to the native place of Konidelas, and even his elder brother Chiranjeevi was defeated in 2009 elections, it is widely discussed whether Pawan would dare to contest from Palakollu or not.
Going into the political history of Palakollu, Palakollu Assembly constituency has been TDP bastion for so many years. In the years 1983,1985,1994,1999,2004, 2014 – TDP has won the Palakollu Assembly constituency by great margins. Only in 1989 and 2009, the Congress had won in Palakollu. In 2009, it was a triangular fight where Chiru was contested and divided the votes which led to victory of Congress candidate Usha Rani.
While the sitting MLA Nimmala Ramanaidu from TDP is a powerful candidate with strong base in cadre, and earned foothold in the region with the help of developmental activities, it needs to be seen whether Pawan Kalyan can think of fielding himself from Palakollu. Though Palakollu has large population of Kapu community, Chiru couldn’t register a victory. Given this, the moot question is whether Pawan Kalyan can contest from Palakollu and win the seat? Or will Pawan opt for any other safe constituency for his victory?
Officer!! Are You Alright?
Akkineni Nagarjuna is looking forward to consolidating his market that has grown leaps and bounds after the super success of “Soggade Chinni Nayana”. But unfortunately, he failed to score such a big hit again and now pinned his hopes on Ram Gopal Varma’s “Officer”.
Other than focusing on controversies and making fun of Pawan Kalyan, Varma is actually expected to focus a lot on the script of “Officer”. But going by the second teaser that is released other, it looks like the film is another routine fare coming from Varma’s stable.
The director may say that one needs to watch the film to know what is inside, but when the teaser is not intriguing enough to pull audiences to theatres, what would anyone do? Weird camera angled, exaggerated dramatic scenes and dubbing-like one-liner dialogues are not creating excitement on the film even after the second teaser is out.
Looking at the second teaser, one will ask if everything is alright with Officer as Nagarjuna looks so confused in the movie. Hope he will not get confused after the release.
After Casting Couch Allegations, Telugu Heroine Joins BJP
Actress Madhavi Latha, who got noticed with Nachavule movie and later made sensational allegations of casting couch in Tollywood, has forayed into politics. Taking many by surprise with her move, Madhavi joined BJP in the presence of Union Minister and Ex BJP chief Nitin Gadkari on Saturday (May 5, 2018) in Hyderabad.
Congress senior leader Amar Singh and KU ex-vice chancellor Vaikuntam Kashaya have also joined BJP in the presence of Gadkari. With the joining of a few noted faces, Telangana unit of BJP seems to have gained some strength.
However, Madhavi’s joining into BJP did raise many eyeballs. Given that she had done a silent protest in Film Chamber against Sri Reddy in Pawan Kalyan row, it was buzzed that Madhavi would join Janasena.
