The much-hyped and highly publicized movie “NTR”, a biopic on NT Rama Rao, which was launched amidst much fanfare last month, has landed in big trouble.The movie’s director Teja will be walking out from the project, sources have told GreatAndhra.com.

As per our sources, Teja has got miffed with Balakrishna’s weird ideas in filming NTR’s Biopic.The differences over how to make, which portions of NT Rama Rao’s life should be included and which should be left out led to this.

Teja has already walked out from Venkatesh’s movie which was launched in last December. He dropped off that project for NTR’s Biopic and now he is walking from this mega project too.

A report in the English daily revealed how the producers and exhibitors (multiplexes) cheated the public of nearly Rs 100 crore during the release of Baahubali 2.

An additional charge of Rs 50 was levied on a Rs 150 ticket at the multiplexes without any approval from the government. This helped the multiplexes and producers (who get a percentage from the multiplexes) earn around Rs 100 crore illegal revenue.

An RTI activist Ch Divakar Babu had written to the Chief Secy about this issue but received no response.

He then approached the State Information Commissioner which directed the government to provide information.A year after he had approached the government, Divakar Babu was provided with the details in 2018.

The response given by the government clarified that permission was not given to the multiplexes to charge Rs 50 extra per ticket. Thanks to Divakar Babu, the scam by the producers and multiplexes has been exposed.

IT Minister KT Rama Rao, who is projected as the successor of KCR and the next Chief Minister of Telangana, has watched Mahesh Babu’s political drama Bharat Ane Nenu. KTR has heaped in praises on Mahesh and the film. This is not all. KTR even had an interactive session with Mahesh, director Koratala Siva and the unit of BAN. In fact, KTR has described Mahesh as his good friend, this is what garnered many eye-balls.

Taking to Twitter, KTR has shared the pics from the interactive session and wrote, “You guys are in for a surprise! Did an interactive session with good friend @urstrulyMahesh and director @sivakoratala on being in public life and the movie ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ a movie which I personally enjoyed.”

Meanwhile, Mahesh has replied to KTR’s comment. He wrote back, “Glad you enjoyed our film. And thank you for being a part of our program. Everyone’s gonna love it :)”
