Who Is Behind Circulation Of Anitha Video?
It was just a slip between cup and lip for Telugu Desam Party MLA from Payakaraopeta Vangalapudi Anitha.With her boss chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu keeping her nomination to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Trust Board chairman post in abeyance, she is virtually in tears.
She submitted all the evidences to prove that she is a Hindu – her school bona fide certificate in which she was shown as Hindu, her affidavit in the election commission, her visits to various pilgrimages including Tirupati etc.
Yet, Naidu has not taken any decision. The video of her interview to Vanitha TV, a woman’s television channel, in which she clearly said she was a Christian by faith and she always carried a Holy Bible in her bag and car and children’s school bag.
That is why, the BJP leaders are strongly demanding that Anitha should not be given the TTD membership.Interestingly, the video is more in circulation in the TDP camps; apparently, her rivals in the party have put the video into circulation in social media and also party circles.
It is learnt husband of the anchor who had interviewed her was a TDP leader and there is a suspicion that he had leaked the video clip to the TDP circles.“I have left it to the chief minister. I will abide by whatever decision he takes on my TTD membership,” Anitha said.
Roja Blasts Media In Support Of Pawan!
Not long ago, firebrand actress and YSR Congress party MLA R K Roja used to attack power star Pawan Kalyan and her brother megastar Chiranjeevi.At one stage, Roja had even questioned the mega brothers on their alleged sexual exploitation of women.
And with regard to Pawan, the actress-MLA used to fire all cylinders for being a puppet in the hands of TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu.But now that Pawan Kalyan launched a war against the TDP, particularly targeting Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh, besides media channels supporting the TDP, Roja has come to his defence.
On Sunday, she went hammer and tongs against the media houses for targeting Pawan Kalyan, just because he exposed the conspiracy of the TDP to defame him using a woman.Roja said the media supporting the TDP had dragged Pawan Kalyan’s family on to the road in the casting couch issue and even got his mother abused.
“These channels, their CEOs, anchors and those who are taking part in the debates are acting as slaves of the TDP,” she alleged.While this has added fuel to the fire as journalists have been up in arms against Pawan Kalyan for attributing motives to them, it has given an opportunity to the TDP that the Jana Sena Party has a secret understanding with the YSRC and both are under the control of the BJP.
So, an internal matter of a film industry is snowballing into a political battle between the TDP and its political rivals with media as weapon!
NTR’s Review on Bharat Ane Nenu
Young Tiger NTR had won everyone’s hearts when he graced Bharat Ane Nenu’s pre-release event a couple of weeks ago. At the event, Tarak heaped praises on Mahesh and went on to call him an inspiration for the kind of experiments he did while no other star dared to attempt.
And now, it’s Tarak once again, winning the hearts of his and Mahesh’s fans. The Nandamuri hero took to Twitter and appreciated Bharat Ane Nenu wholeheartedly. NTR said that blending social responsibility with commercial elements is not an easy job and lauded BAN’s director Koratala Siva for balancing both aspects beautifully.
Talking about his ‘Mahesh Anna’ the Young Tiger said that Mahesh’s performance was flawless. He then congratulated the entire team of Bharat Ane Nenu and termed the movie as an honest and remarkable film. Won’t it be a touching moment to see all our top stars appreciating each other’s work and setting a positive trend among their fans like Mahesh and NTR did?
Pawan Issue Divides Industry PROs
With Pawan Kalyan upping the ante against the yellow media, the repercussions are being strongly felt across the industry with people taking sides with one group or the other.
While Tollywood PRO industry which as usual is dominated by the Kammas are siding with their community, Kapus have expressed their solidarity with Pawan Kalyan. And, this caste feeling which has always been there has come to the fore once again.
A Kamma PRO team is said to have commented, “Pawan Kalyan’s drama at Film Chamber is just a Kapu Vanabhojanam. Did a single non-Kapu hero turn up?”
On the other hand, the Kapu PROs are also a furious lot. “Many times, these Kamma PROs by playing the caste card, have taken away projects which were given to us in the first place. Now, they are targeting our leader Pawan Kalyan intentionally and bad-mouthing him. They should remember that time will not be on their side all the time.”
A leading producer when asked to comment on these developments, jokingly said, “Appoint a PRO for your film who is neither Kamma nor Kapu. That should solve the problem.”
BAN BO: Why To Fake Numbers For A Successful Film?
Bharat Ane Nenu has taken the box office by storm. The film has grossed over Rs. 70 crore worldwide in two days.
It is all set to become the highest grosser in Mahesh’s career by beating Srimanthudu. While BAN is doing wonderful business at box office, the makers are belittling its achievements by releasing posters with fake numbers.
The makers are claiming that BAN has grossed over Rs. 100 crore in two days, which is not true. Anybody who follows the trade knows the real figures.What is the need to release such posters with fake numbers for a successful film?
It will eventually collect Rs. 100 crore and much more in the coming days. Same happened for Mahesh’s previous movies too.Looks like PRO and other publicity team of Mahesh are over excited when Superstar scores a hit.
Producers of Dookudu not only claimed beating Magadheera collections but also made Mahesh believe it. Mahesh tweeted it without checking the facts and got trolled by fans of other heroes.
BAN can create records if it continues to hold well during week days. What is the urgency in projecting it as a fastest Rs. 100 crore grosser?Mahesh should keep an eye on such false claims as it is becoming a norm for his successful movies.
He Didn’t Pick Up My Call : Sai Pallavi
Sai Pallavi became a household name with her performance in maiden Telugu film Fidaa which was a runaway hit and she continued her success streak with her second film MCA that didn’t give much scope for the actress to exhibit her acting prowess.
Telugu audience had great regards on Sai Pallavi until young hero Naga Shourya blasted on his ‘Kanam’ heroine.He claimed that Pallavi can’t digest if others grab attention and asserted she behaved in an unruly manner on the sets, so much so that he couldn’t control himself to slam her.
Sai Pallavi is in Hyderabad now to promote AL Vijay directed Kanam which is due for release this coming Friday.When asked about Naga Shourya’s allegations against her, Sai Pallavi responded, “I seriously don’t have any issues with Naga Shourya.”
“Naga Shourya is definitely a good actor and is calm on the sets. I don’t know why he made such allegations against me because I don’t care about anything apart from my work. In fact, I discussed each and every scene with my director in the film numerous times.
I actually tried to contact Naga Shourya to ask him what distressed him to make such harsh allegations about me. But he didn’t pick up my call. In fact, I don’t have any dispute with Naga Shourya or any other co-star of my films,” asserts Sai Pallavi.
On the flip side, Naga Shourya who scored a hit with his home production Chalo is not keen on endorsing Kanam.He skipped the audio launch of the film and is not attending any other promotions of the film.
Mudragada Supports Pawan, But…
Kapu crusader Mudragada has offered his support to Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan who is waging a battle against leading media houses and AP state government. However, Mudragada found fault with Pawan for fighting only for himself but not for the state or his community (Kapu).
Mudragada has welcomed Pawan’s war on media, AP government, yet, he has asked Pawan to come out completely and declared war on TDP government to see to its failure in 2019 general elections. Mudragada has criticised Pawan for fighting against media, government in his “personal matter”.
Mudragada wrote an open letter where he asked Pawan to pledge for TDP’s failure and to come onto streets to fight against it. He said Pawan rallied for TDP in 2014 and his “sin will not go away” even if he takes bath in many rivers. He said he come to know that Pawan is planning to move legally against people who abused his mother and advised him to ‘put off’ such plans.
Instead, Mudragada asked Pawan to strive for the “failure” of TDP in 2019. He advised Pawan to sail with all political parties fighting against TDP to lose them in the elections. Mudragada asked Pawan to take to streets and fight against the ruling TDP in AP. He said everyone should unite and work against TDP to merge it into sea/ocean. While Mudragada’s letter advises Pawan to go all out against TDP, it also criticises his present action-plan of fighting for his family. This may not go down well with Pawan, his Janasena followers.
President Nods : Death Penalty for Raping Girls Below 12
In a remarkable move, President Ram Nath Kovind on Sunday (Apr 22, 2018) signed an ordinance to pave way for providing stringent punishment, including capital punishment – death penalty, for those convicted of raping girls below the age of 12 years. There will also be no provision for anticipatory bail for a person accused of rape or gang rape of a girl under 16 years.
President’s nod is following the Union Cabinet’s approval to the ordinance to allow courts to award death penalty to those convicted of raping girls under 12 years.
New fast-track courts will be set up to deal with such cases and special forensic kits for rape cases will be given to all police stations and hospitals in the long term, according to the Criminal Law (Amendment) Ordinance 2018.
It stipulates stringent punishment for perpetrators of rape, particularly of girls below 16 and 12 years. Death sentence has been provided for rapists of girls under 12 years, officials said quoting the ordinance.
The minimum punishment in case of rape of women has been increased from rigorous imprisonment of seven years to 10 years, extendable to life imprisonment, they said.
In case of rape of a girl under 16 years, the minimum punishment has been increased from 10 years to 20 years, extendable to imprisonment for rest of life, which means jail term till the convict’s “natural life”.
The punishment for gangrape of a girl below 16 years will invariably be imprisonment for the rest of life of the convict, the officials said.
Stringent punishment for rape of a girl under 12 years has been provided with the minimum jail term being 20 years which may go up to life in prison or death sentence, they said.
The Indian Penal Code (IPC), the Evidence Act, the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act will now stand amended.
The measure also provides for speedy investigation and trial. The time limit for investigation of all cases of rape has been prescribed, which has to be mandatorily completed within two months.
The deadline for the completion of trial in all rape cases will be two months, the officials said. A six-month time limit for the disposal of appeals in rape cases has also been prescribed.
NTR Or Charan, Who Will Romance Kiara?
Bollywood actress Kiara Advani impressed Telugu audience with her simple and elegant charms in Mahesh Babu’s latest hit ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’. Kiara is also acting in Ram Charan’s film in Boyapati’s direction. Incidentally, DVV Danayya is the producer for both the movies.
Now, it looks like has struck a hat-trick deal with Danayya. Apparently, Danayya has signed on Kiara for Rajamouli’s most eagerly awaited multi-starrer with NTR and Ram Charan. However, it is still unclear who among NTR and Charan will romance Kiara.
It’s a huge opportunity for Kiara to be acting in Rajamouli’s direction and that too in the initial stage of her career. We will have to wait for an official announcement about both the heroines who will be paired opposite NTR and.
Sukumar Replaces Trivikram!
It’s official. Director Sukumar has replaced Trivikram Srinivas who was supposed to direct Mahesh Babu in his 26th film. While initially Mythri Movie Makers have planned to do a film with Trivikram Srinivas and Pawan Kalyan, the film got scrapped due to Pawan’s political plans. This turned out into the combination of Trivikram and Mahesh film as Mahesh 26 after his 25th film with Vamshi Paidipalli, Aswini Dutt and Dil Raju. But this was the plan before the release of Agnyaathavaasi.
Post debacle of Agnyaathavaasi, things have changed swiftly. Mahesh seems to have kept his project with Trivikram on hold until the release of his next with NTR, Haarika & Hassine. Meantime, blockbuster success of Rangasthalam have sprouted chances for director Sukumar in Mahesh camp. Although Sukumar had delivered a Box Office dud with One-Nenokkadine, Rangasthalam result has made Mahesh to rethink about Sukumar.
Finally, this led to the combination of Sukumar, Mahesh and Mythri Movie Makers. The film’s shoot is likely to begin by the end of 2018 and the film is slated for 2019 release. Currently, Sukumar is working on the story and is very keen to deliver a blockbuster for Mahesh to erase the old, bad memories. Let’s wait and see.
