Popular film director K Raghavendra Rao, who aspired to become TTD Chairman, has got a plum post. He has been appointed as the Chairman of TTD Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel.

However, reports says Rao was not happy with the post as the channel staff were opposing his appointment in the wake of misuse of funds by his close aide Narasimha Rao who worked as CEO of the channel till recently. The staff alleged that Raghavender Rao shielded the CEO when the irregularities came to light.
