Ram Gopal Varma has put an end to speculations and he himself confessed that he was the one who influenced Sri Reddy to verbally abuse Pawan Kalyan. In his typical style, RGV has given a silly explanation for his foolish act.
“I thought abusing Pawan Kalyan with MC word can intensify the protest of Sri Reddy as it will garner more attention from public.
Using that word made Arjun Reddy viral prior to its release. It is common for politicians to abuse each other. Even Kathi Mahesh became popular by targeting Pawan Kalyan.
So I advised Sri Reddy to abuse PK. It was my mistake and I am sorry for it,” RGV said in a video posted on his YouTube channel.
Ram Gopal Varma also tried his best to elevate Sri Reddy’s character and generate sympathy by cooking up a story.
As per his story, he contacted Suresh Babu regarding allegations against his son Abhiram. Suresh Babu as per RGV said to him that his son has to be punished according to the law if the allegations are proved.
RGV who is concerned about Ramanaidu’s legacy and their family respect tried to make a deal with Sri Reddy to keep both the parties happy.
When RGV came up with Rs. 5 crore offer, Sri Reddy rejected the offer by saying that she wants to stand for a bigger cause than money, he claimed. There were numerous instances in the video where RGV tried to rebuild the lost image of Sri Reddy in public’s eye.
He says that she cannot be judged by her past actions as she is a changed woman now!
Now the question is will Telugu Film Industry take stringent action against RGV for provoking fans of a star hero by influencing people like Sri Reddy?
RGV has been ignored time and again by the industry despite his objectionable comments. But he has crossed the line too far that even his diehard fans couldn’t defend him this time.
Chiru To Stay In Cong, But Not Active!
Megastar Chiranjeevi, whose Rajya Sabha membership came to an end last month, has not been in active politics for the last couple of years after he made a re-entry into films.
Though he was a Congress MP till recently, he had not been participating in party activities at all. Even on the last of his term in Rajya Sabha on March 28 when the Upper House gave a warm send-off to all of them, Chiranjeevi was nowhere to be seen.People have almost forgotten him as a politician but enjoyed his comeback into films with Khaidi No. 150 and are eagerly awaiting release of his next film Sye Raa.
Now that his term as an MP is over, it is not clear whether he will continue in politics or confine himself to films.However, latest reports from New Delhi say Congress president Rahul Gandhi had called up Chiranjeevi and offered him AICC secretary post. He requested the megastar to campaign for the party in Karnataka elections.
However, Chiranjeevi reportedly told Rahul that he would remain in the Congress party, but would not like to be active at least for now, since he was busy with his film shooting.He assured that he would step in the party activities, when it was really needed.
Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president N Raghuveera Reddy expressed hope that Chiranjeevi would soon return to active politics, soon after completion of his ongoing films.“We want him to contest the next general elections,” he said.
Vijay Deverakonda Shines In Pointless Taxiwala Teaser
Apart from Vijay Deverakonda’s charming presence, Taxiwala teaser doesn’t offer much. There is a deliberate attempt to hold the suspense of the plot, but the teaser turns out clueless because of poor edit.
A teaser must either reveal the plot or intrigue its viewers and Taxiwala does none of these. The shots of a hanging man, a car in the rain, a masked protagonist and a dialogue suggest there is more to it. But not many can pay attention to those because of the blazing fast cuts.
What do make an impression in the teaser are the rock style background score and the revealing shot of the vintage car.
Taxiwala is produced by SKN and directed by Rahul Sankrityan. It is backed by UV Creations and GA2 Pictures, which is a bright sign as they are known for backing good concepts.
Perhaps the makers are too hesitant to reveal any details of the plot in teaser, but releasing such pointless teaser doesn’t add value to the product.

Sri Reddy revealed that someone from behind has influenced her and made her abuse Pawan Kalyan with the M word.She also alleged that the person has bad intentions to suppress her fight against the Casting Couch.
Although she hasn’t revealed the name of the person, news leaked that a film director was behind Sri Reddy’s mindless talk.Now even before people started the guess work, maverick director Ram Gopal Varma posted a video on YouTube in support of the M word.
He says that M word is not directed at the mother but the son! “So it is an abuse against Pawan but not his mother,” he said.RGV neither condemned Sri Reddy’s verbal abuse nor said it is wrong to abuse Pawan for no reason. He simply came up with an explanation to the word.
He also brought in the example of Arjun Reddy, where the protagonist uses the same word against a person who criminally assaults a girl.“When it is okay in that movie, why is Sri Reddy being wronged here? Is it because she is a woman?” RGV asked.
