Impressing with her looks alone, queen bee Samantha always creates that sensation across film circles. With her image as Rama Lakshmi from Rangasthalam village fresh in the minds of everyone, she’s now getting ready to steal the show with yet another mesmerising look.

For the upcoming film “Mahanati”, this hottie will be seen as journalist Madhuravani. While she played 80s look in Rangasthalam, she is going to repeat the similar feat for Mahanati too. And that vintage look could be felt in that nose button, glasses and that long braided hair. No doubt, Samantha pulled it off with élan.

And why is her character named Madhuravani? She says, “My name is nothing but Savitri’s name from the film Kanyasulkam”. And the way it is written as “BA (Gold Medal)” showcase how people used to feel proud about degrees and academic achievements in those days.

Directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Ashwini Dutt, the film is set for May 9th release across the globe.

Ever since Mammootty has given his nod for the political biopic of late CM YS Rajasekhar Reddy, the film has garnered good buzz. Titled Yatra, the makers of the film have unveiled its theme poster that reveals the title logo.

The film marks the reunion of Anando Brahma combination – Mahi V Raghav and 70MM Entertainments. Prabhas close friend Vijay Chilla and another Sashi Devreddy are jointly bankrolling the film.

The film is going on to the floors from April 9 and Mammootty is expected to join the shoot. With the theme poster features an impressive one-liner ‘Kadapa Dathi Prathi Gadapaloki Vastunnanu…Meetho Kalisi Nadavalanundi…Mee Gunde Chappudu Vinalanundi’, it needs to be seen how well director Mahi could actually recreate the life and times of late YSR.

It’s an unbelievable work for sure as everyone believed that “Rangasthalam” was shot somewhere in Godavari region, but frankly, the whole of the village was carved out at Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. And everyone is taking time to appreciate that artwork done thereby transporting us to 80s era. Here is the downside.

Already the set has been opened to everyone and many Hyderabadis are going there to get clicked. While YouTube makers are filming shorts there, the general public is going for photographs. But the place is completely abandoned in the nights and such setups are always hideouts for drunkards and other anti-social elements. Isn’t it?

Milky Beauty Tamannaah will be performing at the inaugural ceremony of Indian Premiere League (IPL-11) that is scheduled to be held in Mumbai on the evening of April 7th. Tamannaah, along with Prabhudeva, will be performing paying a tribute to the South Indian cricket stars.

Apparently, Tamannaah is being paid a whopping Rs 50 lakhs for her performance which may last for around 10 minutes. The actress will be rehearsing for her performance in Mumbai tomorrow. Top Bollywood choreographer Shiamak Davar will be choreographing Tamannaah and Prabhudeva’s act.

The whole industry and especially her family and fans are finding it difficult to accept the bitter truth of her untimely demise. After just a week, the news about versatile actor Irrfan Khan’s rare disease has shaken the industry. The actor, who is in the peak stage of his career, himself revealed on March 5th, that he was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumour and is currently undergoing treatment in the UK. Unfortunately, his film with Vishal Bhardwaj has been put on hold and he’s missed at Blackmail promotions too.

After erstwhile Speaker Meira Kumar had suspended Andhra MPs in the last session of 15th Lok Sabha and passed AP Reorganization Act 2014 – making Telangana state a reality – despite huge din in the House back then with then members surrounded the Speaker podium, the present Speaker Sumitra Mahajan in 16th Lok Sabha has done vice versa by not admitting No-Confidence Motion “referring” to the protests of AIADMK MPs.

By this, it is yet again proved that the Indian parliamentary practice has become “friendly” to the ruling party and its allies. This game-plan of Narendra Modi has become successful since Speaker didn’t allow the discussion on the No-Confidence Motion moved by the TDP, other opposition parties.

This is not all. TDP MPs, who felt agitated for not taking up their issue, has decided that they would not leave Lok Sabha. They continued protests inside Lok Sabha even after Speaker announced of Sine Die of the House. Shockingly, the security personnel have allegedly told the protesting TDP MPs that the Speaker wants to talk to them and had invited them to her Chamber. Hopeful TDP MPs who moved out of Lok Sabha to meet Speaker learnt that it was just a trick to bring the MPs out of House.

The security personnel have “immediately” closed the doors of Lok Sabha. This is not all. TDP MPs who went to Speaker’s office learnt that the Speaker Sumitra was not there and she had already left by then. TDP MPs, who are already feeling ignored inside house, are now said to be feeling “insulted” by Speaker.
