While fans and people of Tamil Nadu are keenly awaiting the initial political steps of Superstar Rajinikanth, the actor-cum-politician has surprised everyone by heading to Himalayas earlier today. Every year, Rajinkanth has the practice of visiting Himalayas as an annual pilgrimage.

Superstar Rajinikanth has travelled to Himalayas on Saturday morning to have a meditative break. During the two-week visit, Rajini is expected to spend time at a meditation center he built along with his friends to celebrate hundred years of Yogada Satsanga Society (YSS). However, the Superstar did not offer any comment on his visit.

It’s known that the Kabali actor announced his political entry on 31st December and the coming general elections in Tamil Nadu will see his party candidates contesting in all the constituencies. On other hand, Rajini is set to bring two films this year – Kaala and 2point0. While PA Ranjith’s Kaala is slated for release on 27th April, 2Point0 will see lights in second half of the year.

Recently, Rajinikanth made his first political visit to a college in Chennai and spoke on various issues. Superstar declared that his political entry is to fill the leadership void that is created in state.

Thanks to social media the distance between the fans and celebrities have reduced greatly. It has become easy for the fans to shower their appreciation on their favourite actor. But the social media has also become a platform for the haters to troll the celebrities as well.

Recently, Bollywood beauty Radhika Apte also faced such criticism after she posted a picture of her on social media. Well-known to Telugu audience as Balakrishna’s Legend heroine, the actress who did an innocent village house-wife role in Akshay Kumar starrer PadMan turned hot with a sexy bikini on the beachside recently. She posted a hot bikini picture of her on social media page which acted as a bait for the haters. They started trolling her for her dressing. However, Radhika has a fitting reply for them.

Radhika is not like any other heroine and has the courage to voice her opinion in whatever situation. Now, this ‘Legend’ beauty hit back at the trollers with just a single sentence. “Do people expect me to wear a sari on a beach?” she questioned back.

She also added that she doesn’t care about the comments made by the people she didn’t even know. “I don’t know them, so I don’t deal with them”, she says. But what is surprising is, when she’s looking damn sexy in a beach, why people are worried?

Whether it is to gain attention or to market their film big time, many filmmakers these days are making use of cuss words. One has to blame “Arjun Reddy” for that, for starting the trend of using highly inflammable ‘boothulu’ in teasers, trailers and also in the film. Here comes a successor to it.

Apparently, a song that goes by the lyric ‘Endi Ra Ee Janala Gola’ is trending on social media now for using boothulu like ‘f**k’ and ‘savade**i’ in the rap part of it. This song is from an upcoming film “Needi Naadi Oke Katha” that has Sri Vishnu playing the lead. One wonders if this song will make it to the film, but at least the makers should have ‘beeped’ the cuss words, isn’t it?

There are two debatable aspects of these boothu songs, however. On the brighter side, we are turning up like a USA and UK where rappers come up with songs that feature cuss words and the whole world is enjoying them. Eminem’s songs are an example of that. But the opposite is that these cuss words encourage many youths to speak them quite superfluously in real life also. For now, many are shocked to find that a talented hero like Sri Vishnu has come up with such a song for his film. Directed by newcomer Venu Udugula, the film has music composed by Suresh Bobbili, including this boothu song.

Sometime ago, reports emerged that Akhil Akkineni’s third film as lead hero will be directed by Sathya Pinisetty (elder brother of actor Aadhi Pinisetty and son of yesteryear director Raviraja Pinisetty) and bankrolled by Rana Daggubati. The project has been dropped from the stage of almost getting announced officially. You may wonder, who pulled the plug? Was it Akhil or Nagarjuna?

Well, the answer is neither of them. It was Akkineni fans who nipped the project in the bud itself.Sathya Pinisetty had narrated Akhil an out of the box subject, an adventure film. The young hero was quite impressed and even Nag took a liking to it. But, the commercial failure of “Hello”, which was a decently made film, played the spoilsport.

It is heard that senior Akkineni fans met Nagarjuna and advised him to select only a mass entertainer for Akhil’s third film and not a film like ‘Hello’, which has limited reach. They told him that just one big hit can make Akhil a star hero and requested him to keep Akhil away from experiments.Since Nagarjuna also aims to establish Akhil as a mass hero, he took the advice of fans and dropped Pinisetty’s film.

Meanwhile, buzz is that Nag and Akhil liked a story narrated by an Assistant of RGV and that the story is currently being developed in Annapurna Studios by a team of writers.

After earning the wrath of critics with MCA, Nani has comeback with Krishnarjuna Yuddham. The film’s teaser that is unveiled today promises a power-packed masala film with right dose of action, drama, entertainment and romance.

Nani is seen with high-energy levels in both Krishna and Arjuna. To an extent, he has hit hard with the teaser which strikes a chord with youths. Nani strikes a perfect balance between both mass and class roles. His Gopikas are Anupama Parameswaran, Rukshar Mir who rev up the glam quotient.

Merlapaka Gandhi’s dialogues are alright as they evoke a few laughs. Hiphop Tamizha’s background music and Karthik Gattamaneni’s visuals make the teaser more enticing. The teaser indicates that the film is technically strong. How the film would fare depends on how well it has been executed.
