As the first ever season of Big Boss Telugu version is a super success, both due to the host Jr NTR creating a sensation on the small screen and the content of the show being liked by Telugu audiences. And also this show led to making some not-so-popular contestants as celebrated celebrities of Telugu states.

The latest buzz in media circles is that Jr NTR is going to revive this TV show very soon with Season 2. Also, it is being rumoured that the contestants are almost finalised and the show’s shooting will kick start soon. But in reality, there is no truth over this as the show will not be taking a kick-start until few demands are met.

For Big Boss to see Jr NTR return as a host, they have to wait for completion of two films, one including Trivikram’s movie whose shooting will be started from March 1st week. Other one is none but the multi-starrer project that will have Charan and Tarak in the leads and will be helmed by Baahubali maker Rajamouli. While doing this movie, definitely Jr NTR will not be able to pull out time every week and host Big Boss show.

Another angle is the possibility of Jr NTR granting dates for the shoot in case if the shooting spot of Big Boss is nearby. Yes, the star hero is said to have demanded the makers of Big Boss to build a set here in Hyderabad such that he would be able to take part in the shoot easily unlike flying to Pune all the time to enter the Big Boss house.

In that case, we have to say, Big Boss 2 is not on the cards in the near sight, as these demands are unlikely to be met at the earliest.

A wide number of audiences do believe that mega heroes are actually spoiling some hit numbers of Megastar Chiranjeevi by remixing them. And the latest one to draw flak is none other than Chamaku Chamaku Cham remix done by Sai Dharam Tej for the upcoming film Inttelligent.

Forget about visuals of the song, but the way it was rendered poorly by the singers and Thaman’s poor mixing hasn’t worked out well. With critics attacking Mega Menalludu from all quarters, what has the mega hero to say about this? Here comes his interesting take on why he’s doing these remix songs.

“Actually many people said on my face that I’m spoiling Chiranjeevi garu’s songs. But truth is that I’m paying tribute to his greatest hits. Everyone knows that no one could produce an output exactly like how Chiru’s song is there. But we are recreating the original once again as a mark of respect to him and to take the song to the new generation” said Sai Dharam Tej, supporting his remix of Chamaku Chamaku Cham song.

Elaborating further on how this song’s remix was done, he added that they have decided to retain the soul of the song which happens to Chiranjeevi and Vijayasanthi’s graceful steps. “While choreographer Jani Master helped me get Chiranjeevi style grace, Lavanya watched original video for hundreds of times to come up with Vijayasanthi like expressions,” says Mega Menalludu.

On a whole Sai Dharam is promising a rich visual treat for Megastar’s fans with this remixed song, though the song received some brickbats already. Let’s catch it in theatres from Feb 9th.

The Telugu film starring Prabhas was an official remake of the Ajith-starrer Tamil film of the same name. Ajith and Nayanthara, the bonafide superstars of Tamil cinema who ignited magic on silver screen with their chemistry in ‘Billa’, have teamed up yet again. The producers of Ajith’s new film, ‘Viswasam’, have officially announced that Nayanthara will play the leading lady in their film. Fans of the two stars have been euphoric ever since the official announcement was made.

To be directed by Siva, Viswasam is being touted an emotional action entertainer.

‘Mega’ director VV Vinayak, who has earned the ‘Mega’ tag after he directed four heroes from the Mega family, rubbished the reports of his joining YSRCP.

Close circle of Vinayak has time and again said that the star director harbors the dream of becoming a politician and serving people. When Megastar Chiranjeevi floated Praja Rajyam party, there was strong buzz that Vinayak, who is a very close pal of Chiru, would contest in 2009 elections from Chagallu on PRP ticket. For some reasons, it didn’t happen.

With 2019 elections approaching, reports are once again rife that Vinayak plans to contest on YSRCP ticket. It was reported that Vinayak planned the audio launch event of his new film,”Inttelligent” in Rajahmundry with the aim of showing the support he has in the region.

The calm director however trashed these reports. During a recent interview, he clarified that he wouldn’t join politics anytime soon and will continue making films for a couple of more years.

Vinayak however didn’t rule out the possibility of joining politics in future. He is probably waiting for the ‘right’ time.

Kollywood’s critically acclaimed actor Vijay Sethupathi, regarded as Makkal Selvan by fans, has made a name for himself with some brilliant performances. He is one of most-talented South Indian actor who’s always on hunt for new-age films and offbeat roles. Now, moving a step away from the cliche space, Vijay is attempting the role of a transgender in his upcoming film ‘Super Deluxe’. Currently, the principal shoot of the film is underway in Chennai city.

Apart from Sethupathi, the film has got Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil, Samantha Ruth Prabhu & Ramya Krishna in the lead roles. National Award-winning filmmaker Kumararaja is directing this action-crime thriller. Yuvan Shankar Raja is music composer and photography is by PS Vinod and Nirav Shah. Going by the list of crew members, it can be understood how brilliant (technically) is going to be. The director Kumararaja is wielding megaphone after a gap of five years.

The film will showcase Vijay in a totally different avatar and it’s being said that it will be his best role till date. A couple of leaked images wherein Vijay Sethupathi was seen undergoing ‘transgender’ make-up have appeared online and it has caught the attention of netizens. Even actress Samantha is also excited about her role.

In the past, we have seen actor Vikram playing transgender villain as ‘Love’ in the film Iru Mugan but it was not a success at box-Office.

Despite doing well in Tamil, young hero Sundeep Kishan has changed his strategy. He has now shifted his complete focus on Telugu films from where he started. While his next Manasuki Nachindi, directed by Manjula, is due for release.

Sundeep doesn’t want to do films in haste here afterwards and wants to focus only on his next  film with Bollywood director Kunal Kohli (of Hum Tum, Fanaa fame) which has Tamanna as female lead. Though the film has scope to dub in Tamil and Hindi, Sundeep wants the film to keep it simple and straight Telugu film. Apparently, this untitled film of Kunal Kohli said to have Woody Allen-style and is being shot brilliantly. Sundeep wants to promote his films properly.

Admittedly, Sundeep regrets for his last Telugu release Project Z (originally Maayavan in Tamil) which was properly not dubbed and was released without Sundeep’s dubbing. Sundeep says that he would make sure such issues won’t be repeated. He adds that he doesn’t count Project Zero as his film.

Meanwhile, Sundeep’s romantic caper Manasuki Nachindi, which also features Amyra Dastur, Trida Choudhury, said to be a simple and beautiful film catering to youths. Sundeep avers that the film has shaped up well and is keeping his fingers crossed. As Manasuki Nachindi is hitting the screens on Feb 16.
