It is Conspiracy – Pawan’s Team Hits Back at Kathi
Although the fresh statement of Janasena Party has not taken direct name of its vicious detractor Kathi Mahesh, the party has alleged that it was the part of ‘conspiracy’ against the party, its supporters. The letter further stated that there have been efforts to disrupt, distort and create chaos among Janasena party supporters.
Janasena Party’s vice president Mahender Reddy has written a fresh letter to party supporters, party workers, leaders and followers where he has urged everyone to be patient, tolerant towards personal, professional attacks and asked them not to lose cool, balance.
Reiterating that Janasena Party stands for unity irrespective of caste, creed, religion and region, the letter asks all Pawan Kalyan fans and party supporters to “ignore” those people who level allegations against the party and its founder.
Stating that the party is in the process of building its organisation and its people, the party said anyone who tries to disrupt the peace is trying to distract them from building the party. They said that the party is just a toddler and asked all of them to brace up for such political ploys.
Amidst allegations, reports of a physical attack on Kathi, the letter seems to have cleared the air and set the record straight for Pawan’s fans. Mahender Reddy has also attached Pawan Kalyan’s previous letter to fans (dated October 7, 2017). Looks like, Pawan’s core team has made it very clear to ignore all the detractors.
It also cautioned that the party is observing all those who are demeaning their party, leader and said that it would react when they ‘cross the line’ and when it is appropriate to respond. Let’s hope that this letter from Pawan’s team would put a full stop to the ongoing vicious verbal battle from Janasena critics.

Strange are the ways of our political leaders. They give leaks to the media and within a few hours, they deny the same. But finally, they do what they really want to do.
Take the case of prominent Kapu leader of Vijayawada Vangaveeti Radhakrishna, son of popular leader late Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga.According to sources in the Vijayawada media, it was Radha who had leaked to a section of media that he was resigning from the YSR Congress party and joining the Telugu Desam Party next week.
Though it is not exactly known with whom he had negotiated in the TDP, but the sources in the ruling party, too, confirmed it to the media.Obviously, Radha’s idea was to bring pressure on the YSR Congress party leadership which had been ignoring him for the last few months.
Everybody knows Radha was not happy ever since YSRC president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy had hinted at fielding senior leader Malladi Vishnu from Vijayawada central assembly constituency in the next elections.
As expected, the reports on Radha’s plans built up pressure on YSRC. While senior YSRC leaders tried to deny the reports, Jagan is learnt to have called Radha to Hyderabad on Friday (where the YSRC president was present to attend the trial court in connection with the CBI case) to discuss the issue.It is learnt Jagan had promised to decide on Radha’s contest in the next elections shortly.
Later, Radha told the media that he would continue in the YSRC till the end and there was no plan to join the TDP.“Nobody has consulted me from the TDP. But if I have any plans to defect, I will definitely tell you,” he said.
Interestingly, before meeting Jagan, Radha spoke to a television channel and did not deny the reports of he joining the TDP.When asked about the reports, Radha said: “There is a time for everything. I cannot say anything right now. I am doing my own work,” he said.
Now Mahesh Babu’s Film to Land in Trouble!
Pawan Kalyan’s “Agnyaathavaasi” has been facing plagiarism charges. Jarome Sall, the director of French film “Largo Winch: The Heir Apparent” is now taking legal action on director Trivikram for copying the story of his movie without permission.
Industry gossip is that Mahesh Babu and director Koratala’s untitled movie may face similar charges if they don’t take correct measures at this moment.
Buzz in the industry is that this political drama too is inspired by a Hollywood film. This is the first time that Koratala Siva has not written the script for his directorial venture.
He took the basic script from Srihari Nanu. But gossip is that Srihari Nanu copied the plot line from a 90’s Hollywood movie that revolved around American politics.
As we have seen how Trivikram is having huge trouble over copy rights issue from French movie, Koratala may face similar problems if he doesn’t change the screenplay.
But some others say, Koratala’s movie is not exact copy of Hollywood movie, only couple of episodes are taken.
On the other hand, Koratala Siva has also been facing the plagiarism charges from a Telugu writer for “Srimanthudu” and the case is still pending in court.

While the left one, showing him beefed up, was achieved to play the barbaric conqueror Allauddin Khilji in ‘Padmaavat’, the picture on the right side, a skinny and very lean look, is for his new film, ‘Gully Boy’.
Ranveer had to undergo a physical transformation for both Padmaavat (required muscular body) and Gully Boy (shed most of the weight and look a street-bred young man), and his hard effort to achieve desired looks for the two vastly different characters is visible in the pictures. How eccentric Ranveer may look off screen, but he puts in blood and sweat for his films.
Directed by Zoya Akhtar, “Gully Boy” has Ranveer playing a street rapper. Alia Bhatt plays the female lead.
AP CM’s Strong Counter To KCR’s Comment
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu reacted strongly to the comments made by his Telangana counterpart K Chandrasekhar Rao that Andhra Rulers destroyed Telangana in the United Andhra Pradesh. KCR made some sensational comments at India Today Conclave held in Hyderabad.
Naidu asked KCR to go into the details of development taken place in Telangana after 1995. It was his TDP government promoted Hyderabad an international destination for investments. He accorded top priority to Telangana in the development.
The CM also took strong exception to KCR’s statement that Andhra was not competition to Telangana in the development. Due to unscientific division of the state, Andhra suffered a big loss. As a result, AP stood last in South India in per capita income.
Gang 1st Week: Suriya Scores Hit
Tamil star hero Suriya has finally scored the much needed hit in Telugu as his latest release, “Gang” has proved to be a winner at box office. Despite opening on a low note, the heist thriller sailed on aggressive promotions, Suriya’s visits to theatres, decent talk and Sankranthi season.
By the end of its first week in theatres, Gang collected nearly 6 Cr share from the Telugu states. This is a commendable performance considering that the Suriya-starrer collected under 90 lakhs share on its first day and also the fact that it competed with two biggies – Agnyaathavaasi and Jai Simha. The film grossed 12 Cr at worldwide box office in the first week, and heads towards becoming a hit.

EC Recommends To Disqualify 20 MLAs
In a major setback for the ruling party in Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the Election Commission (EC) on Friday disqualified 20 of its MLAs on the grounds of holding ‘office of profit’. The disqualification of the legislators is expected to pave way for by-elections in the National Capital.
The controversy over the MLAs holding “office of profit” (as parliamentary secretaries) started soon after AAP’s victory in the 2015 Delhi Assembly elections. In between, the MLAs made pleas to the EC first and the Delhi High Court later that the case against them be dropped. But, their pleas were rejected.
The EC has now sent its recommendation to disqualify the 20 MLAs to President for his approval.
AAP, which registered a record victory in 2015 elections, has been reeling under controversies ever since. Almost half of the Cabinet Ministers were sacked earlier on corruption charges, and now, the disqualification of 20 MLAs. No ruling party has such dubious distinctions!
