What former President Pranab Mukherjee will say in his speech at the passing out ceremony of RSS students in Nagpur on June 7 is a matter of keen interest for politicos and observers alike.
Traditionally, speeches of the chief guest and others during the function are a closed door affair like most of the RSS programmes, except for the Dussehra address by the sarsangchalak.
BJP and RSS functionaries are of the view that an exception should be made for Pranab da.Whatever RSS decides, chances are that a copy of his speech will be made public.

The Manchu family has been going through a tough time at the box-office of late, especially Manchu Manoj, who has been besotted with personal and professional problems.
The latest speculation now is that Manchu Vishnu is likely to direct his younger brother and that a major part of the film will be based in the US.Recently, Vishnu had directed a short film too regarding a social initiative and thereby expressed his intention of going behind the camera as well.

The trailer of the Vikram starrer “Saami Square” throws forward a disturbing patriarchal arrogance as Vikram, who is known to experiment with various kinds of roles, runs amok with his machismo.Never has this solid Tamil actor with a slew of prized performances to his credit, been seen to be so blatantly and crudely heroic in the most basic cinematic sense.
Rippling muscles, flaring nostrils, blaring dialogues… Playing a cop he snarls, he swears, he beats up his adversaries, and most macho of all, he treats his lady love like trash.This is Salman Khan’s “Dabangg” territory being invaded by the redoubtable Vikram. And the prime casualty of Vikram overweening machismo is the leading-lady Keerty Suresh.Just the other day gorgeous lady held centrestage in Mahanati. Now here in her first post-Mahanati release she is content being the secondary interest, the glamour prop, so to speak.
This is truly unfortunate. It just shows that the patriarchal mindset runs dangerously deep in Indian cinema. In Bollywood the female hero may rule in “Raazi” and “Veere Di Wedding”. But the kind of build-up and welcome given to Salman Khan in “Race 3” is unequalled by anything the ladies can do.One can see Vikram , a fine actor with a penchant for nuanced character construction, struggling to appear larger than life Saami Square(not to be confused with Saami Circle).
He screams for attention in bare-chested glory barely giving the other actors a chance to have a word edgewise.The worst casualty is Keerty , whom the audiences expect to see a lot more of after Mahanati than what Saami Square(what kind of a title is that?) is likely to offer.This is not what we expect from her. Or for that matter from Vikram whom we have come to associate with quality cinema in Tamil.
#Mahesh25 inspired from “The Motorcycle Diaries”?
There are various rumours surrounding the story of Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film, which happens to be his landmark 25th film. Being directed by Vamsi Paidipally, the film’s shooting will start from mid-June.
Earlier when reports surfaced that this movie is based on an Australian TV series written by a New Zealand writer, the director has tweeted that the film is neither remake or a free-make but an own story. However, a little birdie tells us that the hero’s characterisation is loosely based on the film “The Motorcycle Diaries”.
And you might have understood by now how the story is going to be like. Apparently, actor-politician Pawan Kalyan has many times spoke about how the life and times of revolutionary leader Che Guevara have inspired him a lot. He makes references to Guevera in his songs and looks too. “The Motorcycle Diaries” is nothing but the life story of this popular leader. We hear that Mahesh’s characterisation will be based on his persona.
With the shooting of #Mahesh25 most likely to start in a college, many believe that this story and characterisation is indeed true.
Rakul Delayed Films For Career Best Figure?
All these days Rakul Preet is not signing any Telugu movie with her last Telugu release being “Sypder” that has hit cinemas in September last year. Later on, she signed two Hindi movies and three Tamil films, but not a single Telugu movie.

As she signed back to back films earlier with heroes of all statures, she used to take home nearly 1 crore only. Now that she kept everyone on the wait and finalised only one film, the makers have the option than to agreed to her demands.
Only the likes of Samantha, Kajal and Tamanna are known for charging such such high fee and now Rakul joined the league. Hope she stays there for a longer time like her other contemporaries.
Naidu Indulging In Spit-And-Run Politics!
The Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday accused the Telugu Desam Party of indulging in “spit-and-run politics” and carrying out “organised propaganda” against the Narendra Modi government at the Centre for political gains.BJP national spokesperson G V L Narasimha Rao alleged that TDP president and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu had been spreading blatant lies against the Centre ever since the TDP snapped ties with the NDA in March this year by raking up the demand for special category status to AP and accusing the BJP of hatching conspiracies against the TDP.
“He (Naidu) is trying not only to hoodwink people but also provoke them for political gains. This is opportunistic and cynical politics,” Rao said.He alleged that Naidu had no stability of thought and was spreading “falsehood” on different issues such as the financial assistance to capital city Amaravati and the special economic grant to backward districts.”How can the state government expect funds without submitting proper utilisation certificates for the money already granted?” he asked.
Rao alleged, “His (Naidu’s) only success in the last four years had been in making Andhra Pradesh the number one state in the country in corruption. India Corruption Study, an annual survey of corruption in various states, clearly established this.”
While the Centre was ready to help Andhra Pradesh by all means, the state government remained indifferent, he claimed, adding, “We are ready to implement the special (economic) assistance measures promised in September 2016. However, the state government is not coming forward to do its part, like setting up a special purpose vehicle to draw funds for different projects,” Rao said.The state government only wanted direct fund flow with an “ostensible aim of misappropriating it. We will not let that happen,” the senior BJP leader said.

Actor Sangeetha Arrested For Running Prostitution
Chennai: Tamil actor Sangeetha Balan has been arrested for allegedly running a prostitution racket in Chennai.Several women from different states were rescued from a resort in Chennai and sent to a rehabilitation centre, police said.
Her partner Satish, who allegedly helped Sangeetha trap young girls with promises of roles in films and TV shows, has also been arrested.
Sangeetha made her debut in the Tamil film industry with Karuppu Roja in 1996. She is also popular on TV for her roles in shows such as, Vani Rani, Chellamay Aval, and Valli.
