Mumbai Police had arrested a 32 year old man for allegedly harassing and threatening to kidnap former India Cricket captain Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter Sara Tendulkar.

Police arrested the accused Debkumar Maity at Mahishadal in East Midnapore district. Police said Maity had made several phone calls to Sara proposing her.

The accused also made several lewd comments during his phone calls and even went to the extent of threatening to kidnap her if she rejected his proposal of marriage. He made the phone calls to the landline number at Tendulkar’s residence.

The accused mother Kanak Maity said her son has been suffering from mental depression for the last few months. He was also undergoing treatment due to loss of mental balance.

It has been a while since Nandamuri Kalyan Ram was seen in an out and out love story. Now that he is doing one, the makers have come up with a lovely title that justifies the genre and creates a positive buzz for the movie.

We have learnt from our trusted sources that Kalyan Ram’s new film, starring the very gorgeous Tamanna, has been titled, “Na Nuvve” This is a completely unexpected title for a Kalyan Ram-starrer which tells the magnitude of makeover the film can bring for the Nandamuri hero. The title will be officially announced tomorrow at 10.15 AM.

Directed by Jayendra, the romantic drama is being shot by legendary PC Sreeram. Tamanna is romancing Kalyan Ram for the very first time in this film.

Writer-director Trivikram Srinivas is called the ‘wizard of words’ for his ability to pen any kind of dialogues, especially punches, that make a huge impact on audience. The short trailer of his latest film, ‘Agnyaathavaasi’ also has some impactful dialogues, but one particular dialogue has grabbed the attention.

Referring Pawan, when one character says – Veedu malli Cycle ekkuthadantava Varma?, the other replies – Vaadu edhi ekkina parvaledu kaani manalni ekkakunda unte chalu. This dialogue is used in the film referring to the chaos Pawan create riding a Cycle in the office, but this dialogue could have another underlying meaning too, concerning Pawan’s next step in politics.

It is known that Pawan supported TDP (Symbol – Cycle) in 2014 elections. ‘There is huge curiosity among fans, political analysts and common people regarding whether Pawan will support TDP (ride cycle) again, and that curiosity is expressed by the first character. The response comes from the second character, the opposition party (YSRCP – Jagan) who says that its his call to ride the cycle or not, but it would be better for us if he doesn’t come after us,’ – this is the implicit meaning deciphered by fans and analysts from the Cycle dialogue, which looks as a huge punch to YCP Chief Jaganohan Reddy.

Pawan’s fans say that Pawan trounced YSRCP in 2014 by supporting TDP and that Jagan fears that the Jana Sena chief might do the same again by or without supporting TDP. They opine that Trivkram conveyed the prevalent political situation in AP through the Cycle dialogue. What made this dialogue look even more prominent is the camaraderie between Pawan and TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu, which is evident from the latter giving week-long permission for the screening of late night shows of the former’s new film.

Speculations are strong that Trivikram has used his pen to the full effect in Agnyaathavaasi and wrote several political punches, in sync with Pawan’s ideology and current political scenario in AP.

Akkineni Nageswara Rao’s granddaughter Supriya, who made her silver screen debut as lead heroine opposite Pawan Kalyan in “Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi” in 1996, is all set to make her comeback after 22 years, and that too in a negative role.

We have already reported some time back that Supriya, hero Sumanth’s sister, will be returning as an actress with Adivi Sesh’s next flick, “Gudachari”. The latest we hear is that she essays a negative role in the thriller.

Actually, after her debut 22 years ago, Supriya moved to pursue higher studies and then took the role of a Director in Annapurna Studios. She’s married (and divorced) to late Charan Reddy, who acted as hero in “Ishtam” movie directed by Vikram K Kumar. She hasn’t shown interest in acting in the last two decades.

It is Sesh, who is a very good friend of Sumanth, who convinced Supriya to take up the challenging role in his film. Impressed by the character, she ultimately decided to make her comeback.

It may be recalled that Sesh has given the crucial negative role to popular TV anchor Anasuya in his last film, ‘Kshanam’, and that character became a major highlight in the film. It needs to be seen what’s in store for Surpriya.

The solid foundation laid by Megastar Chiranjeevi and later by Pawan Kalyan facilitated the young Mega heroes to enjoy fan base right from their debut films. In order to capitalize on the massive fan base, the likes of Ram Charan, Bunny and Sai Dharam Tej started doing mass films from very early stage in their respective careers, and the strategy backfired after a few hits.

Varun Tej however has tried to be different from the very beginning. Choosing films like Mukunda and Kanche at the beginning of his career is a demonstration that he is not craving for the ‘typical Mega hero’ tag. Varun is also one of the very few heroes in Tollywood who don’t indulge in controversies, link-ups. The Goodwill he is earning and the Talent he has will take him a long way, say industry people.

With the shooting of a special teaser for NTR Biopic having already commenced, interesting details about the project are coming to our notice one by one. Afresh, we have learned about the actor who is on board to play Sr NTR’s childhood role.

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s son and Sr NTR’s great-grandson, Shourya Ram has been chosen to play the childhood character of Nandamuri legend. Director Teja has planned to shoot a few scenes on the kid tomorrow, on Monday for the sake of teaser. Since it is the biopic of NTR, Balayya Babu has reportedly advised Teja to take a child actor from the Nandamuri family only to essay the childhood character.

Master Shourya Ram had earlier played his father, Kalyan Ram’s childhood role in “Ism”, which was directed by Puri Jagannath. NTR Biopic is going to be the Nandamuri kid’s second film.

The teaser is being planned to be released on NTR’s Vardhanthi, on Jan 18. The film’s regular shoot will commence from March.

Nandamuri Balakrishna is going to build his own film studio in the new state of Andhra Pradesh. He said he has plans to build his own film studio in AP. However, this may take sometime.

The actor-politician is quite broadminded and wears a large-heart. Ask him whether Telugu film industry (Tollywood) would shift its base to AP? His answer stuns all.

“It is wrong to expect to shift Telugu film industry from Hyderabad to Amaravati. Since both are Telugu states, it is unfair to expect to shift the industry. People of both states are Telugu people. When Telugu film industry had shifted from Chennai to Hyderabad, there was a strong reason. Regional feeling and language feeling have influenced and impacted to change the base of the industry. Whereas now, there is no need for industry to change as there are no such disparities. It is voluntary decision of a producer, studio owner and actors,” Balakrishna was quoted as saying.

Balakrishna further said that the exotic and natural locations with a lot of green foilage. With dominating nature’s beauty, the scenery is nice and pleasant. Balayya said it is his personal choice to set up a film studio in AP.

Already, Ramanaidu Studios  was established in Visakhapatnam. And there has been talks of several other film producers, actors interested to start their film studios in AP. Balayya has now openly expressed his plans. This is a welcome change.

Akhil to undergo special training under Satyanand. Apparently, Nagarjuna wanted Akhil to further groom his acting skills as there has been severe criticism against Akhil’s acting in his last two films. Although Hello was better than his debut, Akhil still needs to hone his skills to perform well.

If one closely observes Hello, none of the scenes see Akhil directly seeing camera, he looks side ways. This is a technique that is to cover up Akhil’s acting besides to give some ‘natural’ touch up. No doubt, Akhil is good in dances and fights. His efforts are commendable. Whereas when it comes to acting, he still needs to learn a lot.

Akhil too recently admitted that he wants to improve himself and has been watching his films (Akhil and Hello) several times only to find out his mistakes and to correct them. He admitted of watching his maiden film Akhil by over 30 films. All these further corroborate that Akhil is gearing up to undergo training in Satyanand Film Institute.
