None other than Powerstar Pawan Kalyan himself iterated many times that without Comedian Ali by his side either at a film event or in a film, he feels empty. And recently Ali has even prayed at Janasena’s new office inauguration and gave a copy of Holy Quran to the Powerful hero. Is something wrong with that bonding now?

Quite surprisingly, we hear that Ali hasn’t acted in Pawan Kalyan’s latest movie Agnyaathavaasi which is directed by Trivikram. Though he’s part of the duo’s previous blockbuster Attarintiki Daredi, he’s seen nowhere now. Also, Ali is not present at the audio launch cum pre-release event of Agnyaathavaasi movie. And that is leading to doubts as to if all is well between these two or not.

Some sources commented that ever since Ali expressed his desire to contest on Janasena ticket in 2019 elections, Pawan Kalyan is upset that even a good friend like him is also looking at political benefits. However, those people from Janasena outrightly condemned it.

Information is coming from Haarika and Haasini camp that Trivikram is very much interested to bring the star comedian for a character but during the shooting time Ali couldn’t adjust dates as he’s flying to the USA then. Otherwise, everything between Pawan and Ali seems to be fine, we mean, All is well.

Nani, who has been unofficially holding the top position among mid-range heroes, has now officially made a statement that he is ready to take on A league stars. The opening collections of a film indicates the star power of an actor, and based on the opening of Nani’s new film, ‘MCA’, it can be said that he is all buckled up to pose a threat to stars.

As per reliable trade reports, MCA collected a mammoth Rs 15+ Cr worldwide gross on Day 1, which converts to Rs 10+ Cr worldwide distributor share. The share in the Telugu states is Rs 7.71 Cr, which is too huge for a Nani-starrer as his previous best was just Rs 4.60 Cr, a record growth by any standard.

Only star heroes command Rs 3+ Cr share in Nizam, $300K plus from US Premieres and Rs 10+ Cr worldwide share on Day 1, and the numbers of MCA tell what a star Nani is becoming with each film.

Nagarjuna seems to be fed up with media’s quizzing on the high-budget for his son Akhil’s film Hello. Irked Nag said that he was never asked such questions for his own films although when he had teamed up with new directors. He seems to be not liking now when media suddenly finding issue with budget of Hello.

“Never before in my career, I was asked that why I was spending more on my films with new directors. I had spent Rs 18 Crore for Rajanna, no one had issues then. I even spent a lot on many of my films. If you ask me that I have spent more now on Akhil’s Hello, yes, I did spend more because of love on my son. I do have love on the film,” said Nagarjuna who looked pretty confident on Hello that is releasing in a few more hours.

Nag even stated that he didn’t interfere in the making of Hello while it was shooting. However, he admitted that he tried to give advises, deadlines to team during the post-production work. “I have read online that I was interfering in the filmmaking which is not true. I have never interfered after the film’s script was locked. During the shooting, I didn’t involve. But post-production is the phase I like most. So I take extra care on colours, DI and how the film is shaping up,” shared Nag. He added that had asked people in DI and other post-production departments to give enough time for better output.

Nag said that he will never involve in films of his sons that are produced by other producers. He said that his job will finish after producing a film with his elder son Naga Chaitanya that he had announced with Vikram recently.

Nag said that he had invited Chiranjeevi to watch Hello and he had liked it very much and hugged Akhil for a while after watching the film. He said that even he has got happy tears after watching the film.

Hero Nani’s latest movie Middle Class Abbayi today aka MCA has hit screens today. Produced by Dil Raju and carved out by Venu Sriram, the film has enough buzz already at the box office and all that buzz should actually turn into a blockbuster range success. Is that going to happen?

Currently, any hero’s box office range is not being determined by his fan bases but only by the content of the film. And now, MCA is sold in many areas to various distributors while Dil Raju will release on his own in few places. According to trade reports, the film made a pre-release business of nearly 24+ crores in AP and Telangana alone, while Overseas rights are sold for 3.5+ crores.

Including all other territories, it made 30+ crores already, so the film should collect minimum that much amount to make everyone safe. The first day numbers are heard to be marking Nani’s career best, but due to huge pre release business and mixed talk, breakeven seems to be a herculian task.

Going by the present talk at theatres and reviews of critics, it looks like Nani has to struggle a bit to get a superhit range of collection, leave alone a blockbuster. But Nani’s image has the ability to pull magical feat at the box office and during these times where there is no big competitor around, he might pull off. But let’s see if Akhil’s Hello can stop the unstoppable Nani this time.

Cricketer Virat Kohli and actress Anushka Sharma hosted a grand reception in New Delhi on December 21.For the event, Virat wore a black sherwani while Anushka was resplendent in a red and gold Banarasi saree and heavy gold jewellery.

The 29-year-old actress tied her hair in a bun, adorned it with flowers and applied a thick streak of red sindoor.

The reception was held at the Durbar Hall of the Taj Hotel in Chanakyapuri. It is mainly being hosted for family members and friends who weren’t able to make it to Virat and Anushka’s wedding in Italy.
