Heroine Walks Out of Venky’s Film!
Buzz doing the rounds in film circuits is that heroine Aditi Rao Hydari, who was roped in to romance Venkatesh in his forthcoming film to be directed by Teja, has walked out of the film. Talk is that Aditi couldn’t adjust her dates to the film as she already signed another film with Mani Ratnam which would roll onto the floors shortly.
Meanwhile, Venky’s film with Teja is getting delayed. With Teja occupied with the works of his other film (NTR’s Biopic) with Nandamuri Balakrishna, reportedly Venky’s film is getting delayed.
Due to this, Aditi said to have decided to move on to her existing commitment with Mani Ratnam.
Now Teja is hunting for a heroine opposite Venky. Also for other cast, he recently conducted the auditions at Ramanaidu Studios.
Kohli Becomes Highest Ever Paid Player in IPL History
Team India captain Virat Kohli, arguably the best player of modern cricket, has added another feather to his cap. In the ongoing auction for the 11th season of IPL (Indian Premiere League), Kohli has been acquired by RCB (Royal Challengers Bangalore) for a whopping Rs 17 Cr, the highest ever sum paid to any cricketer in the history of IPL.
Former captain MS Dhoni and dashing batsmen Rohit Sharma are jointly second as Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI) acquired them respectively for Rs 15 Cr each. Kohli, Dhoni and Rohit will lead RCB, CSK and MI teams respectively.
As many as 578 players are in IPL auction this year. Some of the high profile cricketers, most notably West Indies dashing batsmen, Chris Gayle surprisingly went unsold in the first round. It may be noted that the unsold players will be re-auctioned later.
2018 also marks the return of CSK and RR (Rajasthan Royals), the two teams which were banned earlier on match fixing allegations.
Samantha To Take Up Teaching Very Soon?
Queen bee Samantha is not quite active like earlier as she took some break after her marriage to hero Naga Chaitanya. And now, she’s back to work as she attends the shoot of Siva Karthikeyan’s next in Tenkasi, Tamilnadu now. Here is an interesting snippet about her.
Immediately after getting married to Chaitanya, Samantha has changed her surname to Akkineni even on her twitter handle. And she just doesn’t want that surname by her marriage but also want to live up to it, as some reports say. Samantha now wants to teach at a school owned by Akkineni family.
A source informed that Samantha actually wants to teach something related to practicality in the film industry at the Film School owned by Annapurna Studios. Being an economic graduate with top grades, she desires to explain students the way she looked at the film industry and how she made some good moves. Though such classes will be awe-inspiring we have to see if Nagarjuna will be able to insert them into the curriculum or not.
If the person wanting to teach is none other than his daughter-in-law, so we may soon see Nagarjuna getting Samantha as a new teacher at the film school. Let’s see what happens.
Cadre Upset With YS Jagan’s Behaviour On Fan’s Death
Tragedy has struck Jagan’s Praja Sankalpa Yatra in Nellore district the other day when one of Jagan’s followers and fans suffered severe cardiac arrest and breathed last. Going into details, one Rangareddy who was a hard core fan of YS Rajasekhar Reddy and Jagan said to had attended his Padayatra in the district during when he suffered heart attack. Although he was rushed to a hospital, he couldn’t be saved.
When followers, leaders have informed Jagan about the incident, Jagan apparently not bothered to visit the deceased. He rather told to bring his body in ambulance to him on the way of his Padayatra, say some local media reports.
It is reported that Jagan’s Padayatra was happening then from just 10 kilometers away from the hospital where Rangareddy’s body was placed. Whereas Jagan have told his followers to bring Rangareddy’s body in an ambulance onto the main road that was in his way of Yatra. After following Jagan’s instructions, the local leaders have did the same and waited for long for Jagan to come and pay tributes. Finally, Jagan said to have seen Rangareddy’s body on his Padayatra way for a moment and passed through his yatra.
This said to have not gone down well with the fans, followers of Jagan in Nellore who are said to be upset with Jagan’s behaviour. Many thought that Jagan would personally visit the deceased fan’s body in hospital and expected him to standby the victims family. Victim’s family, who learnt about Jagan’s act, is said to be upset with him.
Rangareddy belongs to Tadipatri constituency in Anantapur district. He had been participating in Jagan’s Padayatra for the last three months. Even though he lost his life during Jagan’s yatra, Jagan neglecting his death has come as a huge shocker to many.

Megastar’s Next With Sukumar: Real/Rumor!
These days almost all the directors who have worked with any of the mega hero are getting a chance to meet Megastar Chiranjeevi. And those meetings are now resulting in new rumours that are being taken true by media folks. One such rumour is said to be just a rumour without any truth inside.
Apparently Chiranjeevi is said to have met director Sukumar few times to check the progression of Rangasthalam movie. Already we have seen both Chiranjeevi and Rajamouli meeting the team at the shooting spot. Later with couple of more meetings happening between Chiru and Sukku, rumours have now come out that Megastar’s 152nd film will be a Sukumar directorial.
When we checked with our sources inside the Konidela Productions, it is coming that so far Sukumar hasn’t even told a line to Chiranjeevi about any story or script. They are discussing Rangasthalam only and the Matinee Idol is said to have given some inputs regarding story flow in second half.
With Chiru’s inputs always box office spinning ones, Sukumar is said to be noting them down and carving some new changes accordingly. So for now, there is no truth in Sukumar’s film with Megastar. Dot.
Pawan Holds Secret Talk With TDP MLA
Jana Sena leader and film hero Pawan Kalyan, who is touring in Anantapur district, gave some anxious moments in the political circles in Rayalaseema region.
He held one to one closed door meeting with TDP MLA from Anantapur Prabhakar Chowdary for more than one hour after winding up his first day visit in the district. It is learnt that Pawan discussed in detail the political equations in the politically sensitive Anantapur district and the dominance of TDP leader and MP JC Diwakar Reddy in the district politics.
The film actor turned politicial leader also enquired the domestic problems facing by people and the TDP government’s efforts in addressing the drought. After the meeting with MLA, he left to a private lodge for night stay. Pawan arrived Anantapur on a three day visit to study the people’s plights at ground level and press the government to resolve them.
Bhaagamathie Should Thank Baahubali
The record openings of Anushka’s Bhaagamathie across South (Kerala, Tamil Nadu besides AP, Telangana and Karnataka) is a sound proof of how Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali has taken its star cast into the grass roots.
Prabhas, his cousins UV Creations and above all director Ashok (who had been going through difficult phase) must thank Rajamouli.
One must admit the fact that without Baahaubli, Bhaagamathie wouldn’t have attained such terrific openings. No doubt, Anushka has her own charm in Telugu and Tamil states, but Baahubali has cemented her position again in the hearts of people of South.
If one carefully observes, Anushka’s Rudhramadevi that released after Baahubali : The Beginning made a moolah due to Baahubali craze. After Baahubali : The Conclusion, Rana’s Nene Raju Nene Mantri has got good openings and good turn out to cinemas despite the film’s average content and clashing with two other major films (Boyapati’s Jaya Janaki Nayaka, Nithiin’s Lie). Now, Anushka’s Bhaagamathie proved that Baahubali mania worked a lot. No doubt, Saaho too get humongous openings all over given its huge craze. UV Creations, which is also bankrolling Saaho, certainly owes a lot to Rajamouli.
Inttelligent Teaser: Tej’s Janatha Garage
In NTR’s “Janatha Garage”, the garage comes to the rescue of weak and poor when the system abandons them. It seems Sai Dharam Tej’s “Inttelligent” movie also serves the same purpose through ‘Dharmabhai.com’.
The teaser of Inttelligent was unveiled today by Balayya. Considering that the film was directed by mass specialist, VV Vinayak, the teaser was expected to be high on action, and it was, a bit over the top may be.
The teaser begins with a quotation of Mahatma Gandhi – When there is only a choice between cowardice and violence, I would advise violence. The makers seemingly try to say that their ‘Inttelligent’ hero chooses violence to save the weak from those who exploit power and money.
Tej plays Dharma Bhai in the Vinayak directorial. And, as hinted by the teaser, he has a website – Dharmabhai.com, through which he receives grievances from weak and solves them. It gives vibes of a typical masala entertainer, albeit with an ‘intelligent’ hero.
Starring Lavanya Tripathi as female lead, Inttelligent is gearing up for a release on February 9. It is Vinayak’s immediate outing after “Khaidi No 150”.
