No Change In Mahanati Release Date
Legendary actress Savitri’s biopic titled Mahanati starring Keerthy Suresh, Samantha and many star faces is into final league of production.Producer Swapna Dutt is running pillar to post managing the production and post production in parallel to plan Mahanati release on the prior announced date of March 29.
Currently the project is in the final schedule. Sources say makers are laughing at the rubbish rumors because there is no truth in Mahanati postponement news. They are arriving on March 29 and very much on date.
Director Nag Ashwin took enormous care at minutest aspect in making with post production in full swing, added the same source.
Maoists go on rampage in Telangana, 1 killed
Hyderabad: Maoists went on rampage in Telangana’s Bhadradri Kothagudem district early Saturday, killing one and injuring another former guerrilla member, whom they suspected of being police informers.The Maoists also set ablaze several vehicles in three separate incidents in the district bordering Chhattisgarh.The extremists of Communist Party of India (Maoist) struck after midnight.
They shot dead P. Jogaiah, who died on the spot in the attack in Veerapuram village.Maoists also opened fire on another person at Suryanagar in Bhadrachalam town in the same district. M. Ramesh escaped with bullet injuries on his hand.Both Jogaiah and Ramesh were former Maoists. Police said they were attacked as Maoists suspected them to be acting as informers for police.
The Maoists also burnt down four trucks, two JCBs and a tractor at Bhupatiraopet in the same district. They abducted two workers from one of the trucks but later released them.The attackers left behind a letter saying their action was in protest against the illegal sand mining in the area.
About 40 to 50 Maoists, who had reportedly crossed over from Chhattisgarh, carried out the attacks after forming three teams.Following the attacks, police sounded an alert in the area and launched combing operations.Telangana was once the stronghold of Maoists but their activities have been brought under control by sustained police operations. Police claimed that in 2017, Maoist violence declined by 90 per cent.
Director General of Police M. Mahender Reddy said in December 2017, that the police were maintaining the vigil, especially in areas bordering Chhattisgarh to foil any attempt by Maoists to regroup.

During a press meet of Allu Arjun’s upcoming film ‘Naa Peru Surya’ on Tuesday, producer Lagadapati confirmed that the film is nearing completion and they were in the middle of shooting an important action sequence.
He also said they have another 25 days of final shoot left on the schedule.
Though Lagadapati did not confirm the release date of the film, he said that the film will be ready for the release in April.
According to some reports, the makers have plans to release the movie on April 13. An official confirmation of the same is awaited.
Apparently the makers of the film were unhappy after superstar Rajinikanth starrer ‘2.0’s’ release date was postponed from January to April 27, the same day ‘Naa Peru Surya’ was scheduled to be released.
Releasing the movie on April 13 will give the film a two-week advantage over the Rajinikanth- Akshay Kumar starrer.
Touted to be a high voltage action entertainer, the film is directed by Vakkantham Vamsi. Anu Emmanuel will be seen playing the female lead in the movie.
Cheating case against Ramoji daughter-in-law!
The Hyderabad police on Thursday filed a cheating case against Margadarshi Chit Funds managing director Sailaja Kiran, on the charges of forging the signature of a guarantor to illegally attach a property.
Sailaja Kiran is the elder daughter-in-law of Ramoji Group chairman and media baron Ch Ramoji Rao.
According to the Nampally police, a woman Sangeetha filed a petition in the Nampally criminal courts, stating that the Margadarshi Chit Funds authorities had made her accountable for the default of a chit payment by a person for whom she was a guarantor.
The authorities, without sending any notice to her for being the guarantor, forged her signature on the documents and illegally attached her property.
Based on her petition, the court directed the Nampally police to file a case against Sailaja and others including manager of Trimulgherry branch Parthsarathi.
The police booked them under Sections 420, 468 and 471 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
This is perhaps the first criminal case against Ramoji Rao’s daughter-in-law in connection with the Margadarsi Chit Funds.
