Anasuya Tweets Her Heart Out!
Anchor Anasuya Bharadwaj got familiar with Telugu audience with the Jabardasth comedy show. She succeeded in impressing the audience with her talkativeness and that tempting hot glamour show as well. She even debuted into silver screens and has been doing some supporting roles.
On the occasion of Republic Day today, Anusuya shared a long and emotional post. In that, she showed a different side in her and shared some problems she has been facing from the society. She started the post by claiming that she has taken up the responsibilities of her family well-being just like a daughter, a sister, a wife and a woman in the society and went on saying that there is no freedom as trolls are attacking her all the time.
“I don’t know how my work or what I wear affects not my family but others. I don’t see how few take the liberty to abuse, disrespect and dishonour not only me but also my husband, children, parents and family. Every day I face phone calls, comments you don’t even have the strength to know about. As a responsible woman, i ask what freedom is. I don’t have the freedom to work as I wish but these goons in the name of tradition, culture have the freedom to trample my respect and crush my motive” tweeted Anasuya in an emotional message.
It seems like Anasuya’s life is also an emotional ride like every other woman in the limelight, says, feminists. But who is calling Anasuya everyday criticise and abuse her with their words is the question now. Why isn’t she not complaining to police about it?
Cong boycotts Guv party, Danam attends!
The Congress party in Telangana on Friday boycotted the customary “At Home” get-together hosted by Governor E S L Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan, but surprisingly a couple of the party leaders appeared in the party.
The Telangana Congress leaders, who had to face alleged humiliation in Raj Bhavan the other day when the Governor advised them not to make any wild allegations against chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and his family members, met at Gandhi Bhavan on Friday morning to discuss whether they should attend At Home function or not.
Though a couple of senior leaders like K Jana Reddy said it may not be advisable to boycott the Governor party as it is a Republic Day custom, many others including TPCC chief Capt N Uttam Kumar Reddy felt that having faced so much humiliation at Raj Bhavan and seen the Governor praising KCR so openly.
Finally, it was decided that they all boycott the Governor’s party.
However, media persons were surprised to find two Congress leaders – former minister Danam Nagender and Rajya Sabha MP Rapolu Ananda Bhaskar, at the get-together.
Apparently, they were not aware of the decision taken by the PCC or they must have decided to defy the party decision and move closer to the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi.
In any case, Danam has been keeping away from the party activities for quite some time and there has been talk that he may switch loyalties to the TRS along with another former MLA Mukesh Goud.
And of late, Rapolu, too, has been hobnobbing with the TRS leadership and praising the KCR government.
So, there is nothing to be surprised!

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s ambitious historical film, ‘Sye Raa’ deserves to be called the true-blue multi-lingual film more than any other film that boasts of the same, courtesy the stellar ‘casting’. The film has leading stars from all the noted film industries.
Kannada hero Sudeep who made his Telugu film debut with Rajamouli’s “Eega”, is on board Sye Raa. We have reliably learnt that he essays the role of a powerful villain in this Mega film. For a hero to accept a negative role, the character should be challenging and meaty, and Sudeep was offered such a powerful villain role by the makers of Sye Raa that he just couldn’t refuse it. He has firm conviction that Sye Raa will bring more laurels to him than ‘Eega’ did. He played the villain character in ‘Eega’ too.
We have earlier revealed the nature of two other prominent characters in Sye Raa – Jagapathi Babu essays negative role and Tamil hero Vijay Sethupathi plays Chiru’s most trusted pal. The film’s next schedule will commence in February.
New Bill Seeks Increase in Annual H1-B Visas
A new bill has been introduced in the US Senate seeking a reform in H-1B visa allocation. Two Republican Senators on Thursday introduced a legislation in the Senate seeking an increase in the annual H-1B visa limit.
Named the ‘Immigration Innovation (I-Squared) Act of 2018′, the bill seeks increase of annual base allocation of H-1B visas from 65,000 to 85,000. If the bill gets approved, up to 110,000 additional H-1B visas (making a total of 195,000) will be granted in a fiscal year if and only if certain requirements are met.
The Bill also increases H-1B visa holders’ mobility by establishing a grace period during which they can change jobs without losing legal status.
The Immigration Innovation Act is supported by several top US tech companies, including Microsoft and Facebook, and many top trade bodies, including US Chambers of Commerce and Information Technology Industry Council.
Outrage Over Ilayaraja’s Honor Attributed to His Caste
Many fans and celebs took to social media to congratulate Ilayaraja when it was announced on Thursday evening that he would be conferred the Padma Vibhushan award, the second highest civilian award in India. All this celebration soon transformed into anger when a noted daily published a story implying that Ilayaraja was honored just because of his caste and not because of his achievements.
The headline reads, ‘Dalit outreach with Ilaiyaraaja’s Padma’, and the story published by the newspaper conveyed that Ilayaraja was conferred the Padma Vibhushan in order to placate the Dalits.
This story has invited wrath of fans on social media. Many called it ‘unfair’ and ‘insulting’ to a legend like Ilayaraja, considered by many as the greatest South Indian music composer of all time. Tagging the newspaper in their posts, several fans, media people and celebs wrote that it was grossly unfair to confine a great man to the narrow frame of caste.
‘People love Ilayaraja’s music, they love him because of his talent and most people even don’t know what his caste is, his music is his identity,’ said an anguished fan. Many fans demanded an apology from the newspaper to Ilayaraja for insulting him and his achievement.
Hero Nani’s Car Met With Accident, Nani Injured??
What is revealed by Hyderabad Police to some media channels today is coming as a shocker to Tollywood. It is being said that hero Nani got injured in a car accident in the early morning today (Jan 26th) at around 4:40 am but the news was kept under the wraps.
An Innova car bearing the registration plate TS07 FC0024 has hit an electric pole on the divider side of Road No 45, Jubilee Hills and got its front heavily damaged. While the incident occurred early in the morning, Police found only a driver named Srinivas alongside the car and took him into custody. But later it was found that the car belongs to Ghanta Rambabu, father of hero Nani and there unravelled the mystery.
After shooting till wee hours, Nani was said to have started home along with his driver and two other staff. Due to driver Srinivas feeling sleepy, he lost control of the vehicle and rammed into a pole, leaving Nani and others injured. Getting first aid from a nearby hospital immediately, it is heard that Nani left the hospital to home, say TV reports.
A report is being aired on a popular TV channel that the actor got hit on the face and can’t even continue shootings for a week or so. For now, there is neither any official confirmation from Nani about the accident nor any hospital spoke about it. Hope the talented actor is safe and doing well.

Sweety Anushka’s upcoming horror thriller Bhaagamathie topped this list as the No.1 trending topic as the film released today in nearly four states today. Despite having no hits in the past few years, RGV grabbed the second position in the trends chart with his short film God, Sex and Truth short film featuring Mia Malkova. Even this adult starlet also grabbed the third position in trending list.
Allu Arjun who created a sensation for his upcoming movie Naa Peru Surya surprised the fans with his stylish looks as an angry Army Officer. He bagged 5th position with Sainika song released today. Superstar Mahesh Babu is coming back with a political thriller as a Chief Minister through his Bharath Anu Nenu movie under the direction of Koratala Siva. And this stood at 8th position in the trends.

Trump Proposes Citizenship for Undocumented Immigrants
US President Donald Trump, who has come into power with the alleged anti-immigrant slogan, has surprisingly proposed a legislation that could provide citizenship for nearly 1.8 million undocumented immigrants. This is a great news for the Indian diaspora as Indians account the most in the undocumented youth in US.
Earlier, it was reported that Trump’s new framework would benefit 700,000 Dreamers (came to US legally when they were children), who gained temporary legal status under an Obama-era program. But, according to the White House, Trump’s proposal would also benefit those who were brought to the US illegally as children. According to Trump’s proposal, the undocumented immigrants could become US citizens over a 10 to 12 year period if they met certain requirements.
The president’s proposal has been met with huge applause from immigrants, especially Indian community as they would be the biggest benefactors of it.
It may be recalled that last September, Trump proposed plan to rescind the Obama-era program, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (Daca), which enabled qualifying undocumented immigrants to obtain temporary legal status in the US and be temporarily protected from deportation.
Padmaavat Fails To Beat Baahubali 2 At Box Office
Ever since the news of “Padmaavat” came out, many looked at this film as a saviour of Bollywood pride, because it is Baahubali 1 & 2 that are topping many records at the box office of the Hindi speaking states. As the film became a question of pride for many fringe groups, it got easy publicity through controversies.
Going by that craze, trade pundits expected that the film’s Opening Day collections will beat Baahubali 2’s magnanimous first-day feat in India. Actually, Baahubali 2 collected a gigantic 125 crores ‘net’ from the whole of India. Even if we look at the Hindi dubbed version the film amassed 41 crores nett while recent Bollywood big blockbuster Tiger Zinda Hai collected 34 crores. So what is the position of Padmaavati now?
Despite huge expectations of trade circuits, Padmaavat hardly made 18-19 crores ‘nett’ on the first day. Even though we could attribute this low collection to the ruckus going on in states like Haryana and Rajasthan, even though everything is well the collections might have surpassed only 25 crores. In that case, we have to say that even Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat also fell flat before magnum opus Baahubali 2.
On a simple note, Baahubali 2 has a better story, splendid war scenes, magnificent visual effects that stunned everyone. On top of that, it has a well-connected family drama to engage audiences. But in Padmaavat, except the grand setup, the film sounded shallow in many places.
