“I have no more attention on films. I’m already out of them and kept them aside”, is what Pawan Kalyan has told today at a press meet during his political tour in Telangana state. This is purely a shocker to the fans waiting for his next.

All these days there are enough rumours that Pawan Kalyan’s last film is “Agnyaathavaasi” but then there is a hope that he will deliver a blockbuster and takes temporary retirement. But the Janasena president seems to have already decided to call it quits, maybe temporarily, if his latest talk is anything to go by.

In the wake of his Telangana tour where he paid homage to Kodanagattu Anjaneyaswamy temple, Pawan Kalyan reached Karimnagar in the evening and interacted with media folks. While clarifying that his political tour and next motives are aimed only at seeking better governance but not to flaunt rivalry with any government, a journo asked about his film career.

Pat came a reply from Pawan, “I’m already out of it, they are not in my focus”.

Well, that is a strong shock to his fanbases who are actually thinking that Pawan will come up a film or two in the coming years. Rumours also buzzed a while ago that he will be taking up an action flick under Kandireega fame Santosh Srinivas direction. Seems like Pawan poured water on all those talks.

Director Ashok G, of Pilla Zamindar, has turned emotional the pre-release function of Bhaagamathie. Referring Prabhas to God, he has said how Bhaagamathie has taken place. He said that it was Prabhas who was the originator of Bhaagamathie as he was the first person who has heard the story, liked it very much and taken it forward. Ashok said, “Whoever works for the success of people around him, he is Devudu. Divinity has entered in him. Yes, it was about Prabhas garu. Devudu couldn’t come today. But it is because of him, Bhaagamathie has happened. I owe this film to him.”

Ashok has went onto compare producers of UV Creations, Vamsi, Pramod and Vicky as Trimurthulu who meticulously plan, arrange things and take care of their film like a baby. He further referred Anushka as Shakti who is the force behind Bhaagamathie. Ashok said that Anushka was the Prana Pratistha.

Expounding the strain and toil Anushka has put into the film, Ahosk stated that Anushka had held her hand up for almost two days for the scenes of nailing her hand. Ashok thanked everyone in the team and enthused that the film has come out very well.

As the film is going to hit the screens for Jan 26 as solo release and Sankranthi films turned out to be big disappointment, Anushka has fair chances to rule the Box Office. Well, it depends on the film’s content. Let’s wait and watch.

Probably for the first time in Indian film history, as many as two thousand women have threatened to commit suicide with the aim of stopping the release of just a ‘film’.

Thousands of women took out a massive rally in Rajasthan’s Chittorgarh town in order to warn the authorities against releasing ‘Padmaavat’, a high-budget historical film that had to cross numerous hurdles like altering release date, changing title, covering heroine’s waist with VFX, move to the Supreme Court to get order against ban etc. to finally get a release on Jan 25.

About two thousand women in Rajasthan have reportedly registered for committing suicide by jumping into fire if the film releases in theatres. The women have submitted a memorandum addressed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in this regard. In the memorandum, they cited that they had taken the unprecedented decision to ensure Rani Padmini’s honour, and they warned the authorities that all the registered two thousand women would commit suicide a day before the screening of Padmaavat if the film doesn’t get banned.

Meanwhile, Karni Sena, which has been protesting against the film ever since its launch, called for a shutdown across the country on Jan 25 to protest against the film’s release. They even warned the theatre owners that they themselves will be responsible for the consequences if they screen Padmaavat.

In the wake of the ultimatums from the women groups and Karni Sena, the state govts in Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh plan to tighten the security over the next couple of days to maintain law and order.

If we look at the way director Ram Gopal Varma applauds his favourite disciple Puri Jagan all the time, definitely one understands that more than credibility or honesty, there is a lot of exaggeration.

In the name of praising Puri Jagan’s work to the sky, other day Varma tweeted, “I just saw parts of @purijagan ‘s Mehbooba and I strongly feel @urstrulyMahesh ‘s Pokiri is a flop in comparison ..Could be becos of his love for his son that he made this film so fucking special ..Whatever reason it’s F***ING looking EPIC (sic)”.

This is not the first time Varma has referenced Pokiri. Even earlier during “Temper” release, RGV took to the micro-blogging site to write, “Compared to Tarak’s Temper” “Pokiri” and “Businessman” seem like flops”. While Temper might have scored a hit, but Pokiri is a trendsetter and an industry hit at that time, while Temper result proved that it is nothing such.

Actually, cinema lovers are now requesting Varma to stop blaming Pokiri all the time to praise Puri Jagan’s latest works. “Mehbooba is his 20th film as a director after he delivered Pokiri, but never Puri repeated such grand feat with any of these films. So first allow the talented Puri to score a trendsetting blockbuster and then compare it with Pokiri” a movie lover commented.

One may say that there is no mention of Pawan Kalyan and his yatra, but if you read between the lines, it is evident that she has made this tweet on him.

Pawan Kalyan landed in embarrassing situation politically due to Poonam Kaur’s tweets.
