Pawan Kalyan’s Regal Look in Hari Hara Veera Mallu Unveiled

Share

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan has recently resumed shooting for Hari Hara Veera Mallu, a grand period drama where he plays the role of a daring thief. Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and AM Jyothi Krishna, the film is slated for a massive release next month. As the release nears, buzz surrounding the film’s aesthetics—particularly Pawan Kalyan’s costumes—has been gaining momentum.

Set in the 17th-century Mughal era, the film’s wardrobe design is being handled by renowned costume designer Aishwarya Rajeev. Having previously worked on Gautamiputra Satakarni with Nandamuri Balakrishna, she brings valuable experience to the table for a historical setting like this. For Hari Hara Veera Mallu, her team collaborated with skilled weavers from Telangana, Surat, and Mumbai to craft unique fabrics using natural dyes and earthy tones like rustic maroon and brown.

An enormous amount of work went into the costume design process. Each outfit was custom-made and presented to Pawan Kalyan for his feedback and approval during detailed trial sessions. When he appeared on set in his full warrior attire for the first time, the crew was reportedly stunned by his commanding presence.

The costume department used over 1,000 thans (bolts of cotton fabric) throughout the project. Pawan Kalyan will sport around 20 different looks in the film, primarily wearing traditional Kurta and Dhoti ensembles. His accessories, too, have been designed with intricate detail, enhancing the authenticity of his character.

Adding to the film’s opulence, over 20 custom-made pairs of leather chappals were handcrafted by artisan Venkateswara Rao. The production also involved 500 kilos of jewelry, worth an estimated ₹3 crore—some of it real gold and silver—further reflecting the grandeur of the Mughal-era backdrop.

With so much attention to detail, Hari Hara Veera Mallu promises to be not only a compelling story but also a visual spectacle.

9 Easy Visa Alternatives for Indians Boycotting Turkey This Summer

Share

Amid rising geopolitical tensions and diplomatic unease, Indian tourists are shifting away from traditional travel hotspots such as Turkey and Azerbaijan. The pivot comes in response to recent political alignments, with both Turkey and Azerbaijan publicly expressing support for Pakistan, drawing concern among Indian travellers.

This shift is already making waves in the tourism sector, part of a broader $12 billion trade relationship that India shares with the two countries. According to leading travel platforms, bookings to Turkey and Azerbaijan have seen a sharp decline in recent weeks, prompting tourists to seek alternative destinations that offer affordability, rich experiences, and minimal political risk.

In response, several visa-friendly international destinations have witnessed a surge in interest. These countries not only offer seamless entry for Indian passport holders—through visa-free, visa-on-arrival, or e-visa provisions—but also match the value and experiences of Turkey and Azerbaijan.

Emerging and Trusted Alternatives for Indian Travellers:
Thailand Maintains Steady Interest
Thailand remains a favourite among Indian tourists for its diverse offerings—from bustling Bangkok to serene beaches in Phuket and Krabi. With travel packages ranging between ₹1 lakh to ₹1.4 lakh for a 5–6 day itinerary, the country offers great value and hassle-free visa access, making it ideal for both first-time and repeat travellers.

Vietnam Gains Popularity
Vietnam continues to climb the ranks as a top choice. Popular destinations such as Ho Chi Minh City and Halong Bay provide cultural and scenic variety. A 6–7 day trip typically costs ₹1 lakh to ₹1.3 lakh, and Indian citizens can either obtain a visa on arrival or apply in advance for an e-visa.

Bali Remains a Favourable Option
Indonesia’s Bali is a staple on Indian itineraries, thanks to its combination of cultural heritage, scenic beauty, and nightlife. Travel costs for a 6–7 day visit fall within ₹1.1 lakh to ₹1.4 lakh, with visa-on-arrival access streamlining the travel process.

Sri Lanka Attracts Regional Visitors
With its geographical proximity, diverse landscapes, and accessible e-visa system, Sri Lanka is emerging as a strong contender for Indian tourists. A well-rounded trip—including coastal stays and historical exploration—fits comfortably within a ₹1 lakh to ₹1.3 lakh budget.

Dubai Continues to Appeal
Dubai’s mix of modern luxury, shopping, and entertainment keeps it high on Indian travellers’ lists. With 5–6 day packages costing between ₹1.2 lakh and ₹1.5 lakh, and a simple e-visa process, it remains a strong option for families and solo travellers alike.

Nepal and Bhutan Offer Quiet, Scenic Retreats
For those seeking tranquil getaways closer to home, Nepal and Bhutan offer culturally rich and budget-friendly experiences. These visa-free destinations allow Indian tourists to travel freely, with 6–8 day packages priced between ₹80,000 and ₹1.2 lakh.

Malaysia–Singapore Duo Popular Among Families
Combining Malaysia’s urban experiences and natural attractions with Singapore’s theme parks and shopping destinations, this 7-day itinerary is a hit with families. Travel costs range from ₹1.2 lakh to ₹1.5 lakh, with both countries offering convenient e-visa options.

Conclusion
As travel preferences evolve in response to global political developments, Indian tourists are increasingly prioritising destinations that balance affordability, experience, and ease of travel. With an array of accessible options available, the tourism industry is swiftly adapting to this redirection, ensuring travellers continue to explore the world—politics notwithstanding.

Prabhas’ Raja Saab May Reshape 2026 Sankranti Releases

Share

Tollywood is gearing up for a packed Sankranti season in 2026, with several big films scheduled for release. The competition for theatres during this festive period is expected to be intense.

Amidst this buzz, there is significant talk about how Prabhas’ upcoming film could impact the lineup. Prabhas is currently working on Raja Saab, directed by Maruti. This film marks a fresh venture for him as it is being promoted as a full-fledged commercial horror movie—a genre Prabhas hasn’t explored recently. The novelty of this project has created a lot of anticipation among fans and industry watchers.

What’s important to note is that if Prabhas releases Raja Saab during the Sankranti season next year, it could disrupt the existing release schedule. Big stars like Chiranjeevi and Nandamuri Balakrishna have already locked the Sankranti slot with their projects directed by Anil Ravipudi and Boyapati Sreenu respectively. Prabhas entering the race at this time will likely force other films to reconsider their release plans. Given Prabhas’ massive pull at the box office, it’s highly unlikely that any other film will risk clashing with his release during Sankranti.

Jagan’s Quick Decisions Backfired: Ex-Chief Secretary

Share

Many individuals who have worked closely with YS Jagan Mohan Reddy describe him as a leader who makes swift decisions. Former Chief Secretary LV Subrahmanyam, who directly served under Jagan, recently opened up about the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister’s leadership style, stating, “Jagan’s rapid decisions ended up doing more harm than good.”

According to Subrahmanyam, Jagan rarely sought input or advice from his officers. Once a decision was made, he would stand by it, regardless of alternative perspectives. This style of governance, he said, resulted in several policy missteps during the YSRCP administration.

One notable example is the sand policy. Under the previous government, sand was available freely, but after taking office, Jagan’s administration abruptly reversed that policy. The sudden change caused widespread disruption in the construction industry, leaving thousands of laborers jobless. Some families reportedly slipped into poverty, and there were even tragic accounts of starvation-related deaths.

Another controversial decision was the overhaul of the liquor policy. The government introduced sweeping changes to the liquor distribution system, with allegations that licenses for new distilleries were handed out to individuals close to the ruling party. Despite facing strong public backlash, Jagan remained firm on the policy.

Subrahmanyam further revealed that when officials attempted to provide alternate suggestions, Jagan would respond dismissively, saying, “That decision is already taken. Tell me something else.” He remarked that Jagan treated the Chief Minister’s office like a routine government job—clocking in at 11 AM and out by 6 PM—without the intensity and engagement expected from someone in such a high-stakes role.

He concluded by saying that Jagan relied too heavily on power and money to manage governance. His hasty decisions, combined with a lack of long-term vision and an unwillingness to listen, contributed to a growing wave of public dissatisfaction. Even if Jagan believed his choices were right, they often resulted in unintended consequences for both his government and the people of Andhra Pradesh.

Female-Led Films Prove Box Office Power

Share

The question of whether money should be invested in female-led films already has a clear and resounding answer—yes. The box office numbers speak for themselves. Producers investing in women-centric stories are seeing solid, often impressive, returns. Today, there are leading actresses capable of carrying strong narratives and delivering the same box office value as male stars.

Take Vidya Balan, for instance. She set the tone with The Dirty Picture, which earned ₹79 crores, followed by Kahaani at ₹57 crores—both content-driven films that proved commercially successful. Rani Mukerji followed suit with Mardaani (₹35 crores) and Hichki (₹49 crores), showing that confidence in storytelling and character depth can pay off even without high budgets.

Taapsee Pannu is another standout performer, making bold and unconventional choices. Films like Naam Shabana (₹37 crores), Thappad (₹35 crores), and Saand Ki Aankh (₹28 crores) highlight her commitment to meaningful cinema with box office appeal.

Alia Bhatt has taken female-led cinema to the next level with Raazi (₹122 crores) and Gangubai Kathiawadi (₹126 crores), both of which not only performed exceptionally well but also earned critical acclaim. Her compelling performances and the strong narratives drove audiences to the theatres.

Together, actresses like Vidya, Rani, Taapsee, and Alia have built a solid foundation for female-driven cinema in India. They’ve proven that a powerful story and performance don’t require a male lead to succeed. These films have consistently shown excellent return on investment, reshaping perceptions within the industry.

Perhaps it’s time to stop viewing these films as a separate category. A good film doesn’t need a label. It just needs to be well-made—and female-led films are proving that, time and again.

Ajith Kumar’s Stunning 42 Kg Transformation for Racing Career

Share

Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar has recently shifted gears, putting his full focus on his passion for racing. Over the past year, the actor has actively participated in numerous endurance races across the globe. What’s making waves now, however, is not just his racing career but his incredible transformation — Ajith has lost a staggering 42 kilograms in just 8 months.

In a recent media interaction, Ajith candidly spoke about his decision to prioritize fitness. He shared that it was only around August last year that he realized the need to be in peak physical condition, especially with the demanding nature of professional racing. Embracing a strict routine, he committed to a disciplined diet, portion control, and regular physical activities such as swimming and cycling.

Adding to the transformation, Ajith has now adopted a vegetarian lifestyle and has become a teetotaler. “Endurance racing pushes the body and mind to their limits. I want to give it everything I have — my heart, my soul, and a fitter version of myself,” he said.

This change comes after facing criticism last year over his physical appearance, with many commenting on his weight and lack of visible effort toward fitness. But Ajith’s remarkable turnaround stands as a testament to his dedication and willpower, silencing critics with results that speak volumes.

On the professional front, Ajith reassured fans that quality cinema is on the horizon. He has a solid film lineup locked in for the next six years, with his next project set to begin in November 2025, aiming for a Summer 2026 release.

Ajith’s story is not just about weight loss or career shifts — it’s about reinvention, discipline, and pushing boundaries, both on and off the track.

The Final Reckoning: Cruise’s Ultimate Mission

Share

Over the past three decades, Mission: Impossible has cemented itself as arguably the greatest action franchise in cinema history. From its explosive 1996 debut to its most recent chapters, the series has continuously raised the bar in terms of action choreography, scale, and sheer cinematic bravado. Now, with Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, Tom Cruise returns as Ethan Hunt—possibly for the last time—in what is positioned as the concluding chapter of this epic saga. But does it live up to the hype? Is this truly the final mission?

Storyline: The Stakes Have Never Been Higher

Picking up right where Dead Reckoning – Part One left off, Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) comes into possession of a powerful “Key” that holds the potential to prevent a catastrophic cyberattack by a sentient and malevolent AI known as “The Entity.” Summoned via a voice note from U.S. President Erika Sloane (Angela Bassett), Ethan is urged to come out of exile for one final mission to save humanity. What follows is a globe-trotting adventure filled with high-stakes action, impossible choices, and heartfelt moments.

Performances: Cruise Is Immortal, the Ensemble Shines
At 62, Tom Cruise defies age and gravity alike. His commitment to Ethan Hunt is unparalleled—his stunt work in the final act alone is enough to leave audiences in awe. He brings a perfect blend of charm, resolve, and vulnerability that reminds us why he’s the ultimate action star.

The supporting cast delivers strong performances across the board:

  • Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Henry Czerny, Angela Bassett, Pom Klementieff, and Esai Morales all reprise their roles with consistency and purpose.
  • A special shoutout to Lucy Tulugarjuk as Tapeesa, who brings subtle humor and humanity in a small but memorable role.

Technical Brilliance: A Feast for the Senses

  • Background Score (Max Aruj & Alfie Godfrey): Powerful and original. The composers avoid the easy route of rehashing old scores and deliver a fresh yet familiar sonic experience.
  • Cinematography (Fraser Taggart): Breathtaking visuals, from the moody streets of London to the vast terrains of South Africa. The underwater sequences and final set-pieces are visually stunning.
  • Editing (Eddie Hamilton): Functional but could have been tighter. Certain sequences—particularly underwater—feel a bit overextended, which slightly hampers the pacing.
  • Writing (Erik Jendresen & Christopher McQuarrie): Smart and introspective. The dialogues highlight the emotional weight Ethan carries and showcase the loyalty and trust he has built over time.

Highlights

✅ Tom Cruise’s all-in performance

✅ Gripping final act with spectacular stunts

✅ Fresh and emotive background score

✅ Top-notch cinematography

✅ Memorable one-liners and callbacks

✅ Strong nostalgia factor

Downsides

❌ Some sequences, particularly underwater, feel overlong

❌ Slower narrative build in the first half may not appeal to all

Analysis: A Fitting Finale, or a New Beginning?

From the opening sequence where the U.S. President recounts Ethan’s legacy, The Final Reckoning sets a nostalgic and reverent tone. It’s a heartfelt nod to the fans and a tribute to a character who has consistently risked it all for the greater good.

Ethan is more than just an agent—he’s a symbol of moral clarity in a chaotic world. Lines like, “Who in the world can we trust with this power?” and “Only you, Ethan,” echo throughout the film, reinforcing the trust his allies—and we as viewers—place in him. Whether it’s a witty quip in the face of danger or a silent expression of pain, Cruise owns every frame.

The final act is a masterclass in action filmmaking. Each sequence is more daring than the last, and the stunts remind us why this franchise remains unmatched. The sheer scale, practical effects, and emotional stakes converge to deliver a truly unforgettable climax.

And yet, despite the title, The Final Reckoning leaves just enough ambiguity. The final scene doesn’t close the door completely, raising the tantalizing possibility that Ethan Hunt could return. Whether Cruise chooses to don the mask one more time remains to be seen—but the audience will surely welcome him back with open arms.

Verdict: Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning may not be flawless, but it’s a thrilling, emotionally satisfying, and visually spectacular ride. It celebrates the essence of what made this franchise iconic, with Tom Cruise at the heart of it all—once again proving that some legends never age.

Tagline: A final mission that fires on all cylinders—epic, emotional, and impossible to miss.

OG Shoot Resumes: Budget Soars to ₹240 Cr

Share

Following the completion of Hari Hara Veera Mallu, superstar Pawan Kalyan has resumed shooting for his much-awaited action thriller OG. Sources reveal that the film’s budget has significantly escalated due to production delays, now reaching an estimated ₹240 crore—up from the initial projection of ₹200 crore. This makes OG the costliest film in Pawan Kalyan’s career to date.

“Pawan Kalyan had completed a major portion of his scenes before the Andhra Pradesh elections. With his return to the sets after assuming office as the Deputy Chief Minister, he has around 20 working days remaining,” a source close to the production stated. The primary reasons for the budget spike are prolonged delays and upgraded production requirements.

DVV Entertainments, the banner backing OG, recently posted a behind-the-scenes photo on X (formerly Twitter), captioned: “Malli Modhalaindi… Eeesaari Mugiddaaam… #OG #TheyCallHimOG #FireStormIsComing.” The post reignited fan excitement, with many reacting with anticipation and dubbing Pawan Kalyan’s return “the comeback of the original gangster.”

Written and directed by Sujeeth, OG features Pawan Kalyan as Ojas Gambheer, a mysterious and powerful gangster. Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi joins as the film’s primary antagonist. Designed as a pan-India release, OG blends gritty action with romance and soulful music, aiming to appeal to a wide audience and justify its massive investment.

With high stakes, intense characters, and a rich production scale, OG is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious projects in Pawan Kalyan’s career.
