Prime Minister Narendra Modi has celebrated Diwali with Jawaans (soldiers) who safeguard the nation at borders round the clock notwithstanding any festivals, holidays.
This is not first-time, Modi celebrated the festival of lights with soldiers. This is Modi’s fourth consecutive year to celebrate it with soldiers directly and interact with them.
Modi might be facing anti-incumbency due to implementation of GST and demonetization that failed to bring expected results, but one can’t help but appreciate Modi when it comes to his love for Jawaans, his love for country. Modi once again proved that he is truly a patriotic.
Many leaders, politicians have grossly ignored Jawaans over the years as they were not voters or vote bank element. However, only a few like Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Narendra Modi have always given due importance to soldiers. India’s Diwali Gift to Pakistan
On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, the festival of lights which signifies the exchange of gifts, India gave a heartening gift to neighboring nation Pakistan. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj announced that India will grant medical visas to all Pakistanis with deserving cases for treatment in the country.
Owing to the lack of proper medical facilities to deal with critical cases in their country, a lot of Pakistanis look up to India for treatment. However, getting visas to India is an onerous task for Pakistan nationals amidst the mounting tensions between the two nations. We have come across reports of many Pakistanis contacting Sushma Swaraj on Twitter, seeking her help in securing visas on medical grounds.
And, on the eve of Diwali, India has sent joy as a gift to all the Pakistanis by promising to provide medical visas.
Nag-Nani To Work From Sankranthi
Right now, Nagarjuna is in the best phase of his life. With the addition of new member – Samantha – to Akkineni family, and with their latest offering Raju Gari Gadhi 2 did create magic at the BO, naturally, Nag is on cloud nine. After a break, he will start working on a multi-starrer with Nani.
Both Nag and Nani have already confirmed that they are going to act together for the yet-to-be-titled film. This is going to be directed by young filmmaker Sriram Aditya who earlier directed Bhale Manchi Roju and Samanthakamani.
This interesting film is going to be produced by Ashwini Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies that has produced several crazy combos earlier of which many are successful. Presently, pre-production works are going on at breakneck speed.
Makers are planning to roll on the film in January most likely after Sankranthi festival.
Tollywood Switches On ‘H’ Mode
It’s quite common for celebrities to work round the clock to complete their commitments and party hard during their breaks. Most of the Tollywood celebrities at the moment are flying abroad at the moment along with their families to relax and return charge. Here’s how some celebs switched on their Holiday mode.
Jr NTR who worked without breaks for Jai Lava Kusa and Bigg Boss is currently in Europe with his family for a vacation, only to return back later this month. Nagarjuna recently revealed that he has been occupied with work and is in plans for a ten days holiday. We hear that he’s planning to visit Turkey with his family members.
Another senior hero Venkatesh is heading to Europe for a short devotional trip with his friends, who happen to be Ramana Maharshi followers. It’s being said that this group will seek both thrill and spirituality on this trip. Some heroes like Varun Tej are both enjoying work and holiday in London, the UK where his current film shooting is going on.
Meanwhile, some celebs recently wrapped their vacations. Mahesh Babu after wrapping up Spyder headed to the Tuscan side of Italy for a short trip along with Namratha and kids. Heroine Lavanya Tripathi too has been to Malaysia for a holiday along with her friends and is back recently.
On the whole, Tollywood is currently in holiday mood no matter whether there are holidays to the industry or not.
Doors Open for TDP-TRS Dosti
There is an age-old saying that there are no permanent friends and foes in politics. This is quite true with the politics of Telugu States. TDP and TRS have locked horns like never before during the separate state hood of Telangana and post-formation of the new state.
TRS led by KCR has tried every trick to embarrass Naidu including “catching” him in the Cash for Votes scam and even jailed its senior leader and MLA Revanth Reddy. KCR made sure all AP leaders move to Amaravati even before their new capital city is built. Despite that there is a lot of bad blood between Naidu and KCR, Chandrababu Naidu seems to be patching up with him for his own political reasons. With TDP almost wiped out in Telangana, a place where it had a strong foothold once, due to KCR, Chandrababu is now toying with the idea of forging an alliance with TRS in Telangana for the next general elections.
These plans, of course, are not going down well with Revanth, a staunch anti-KCR politician. Now, Revanth is making his plans to associate with Congress and wants to lead an anti-KCR force in run up to next polls.
Now, talk is that Revanth’s recent moves (meeting Rahul Gandhi) and recent remarks against Chandrababu, AP leaders may put him in trouble. Chandrababu is said to be preparing ground to the ousted of Revanth from the party. If Revanth exits, this will open doors from KCR and TRS.
The moot question is that will this really help TDP in Telangana and AP?
Raja Crucial for Anil
It is not easy to become director from writer and prove mettle in direction. While many writers have tried their hand at direction, only a few have succeeded and others failed and subsequently settled as writers.
Anil Ravipudi has managed to make an impact with his maiden directorial Pataas, a commercial entertainer. However, his immediate film Supreme being just an average and being routine script, all eyes were on his latest offering Raja The Great in which protagonist is a visually-challenging person.
This is very crucial film for Anil given that a star like Ravi Teja has entrusted him a huge responsibility. If he proves, this will open doors of stars for Anil.
With the film bagged mixed reviews and the word-of-mouth too is not so great, it needs to be seen how the film would work at the ticket windows. The film’s fate at the Box Office is now going to decide Anil’s next projects.

Mega Family Bringing Bollywood Trend
It is quite common in Bollywood to throw parties to bigwigs and celebrities during festival seasons. Especially Diwali, many happening Mumbaikars like Ambanis, Amitabh Bachchan and Ekta Kapoor throw parties to their near and dear in the film industry. That’s why we see a lot of pics flooding internet from these Diwali bashes.
Now Mega family started this trend in Tollywood as well. Other day Megastar Chiranjeevi threw a lavish Diwali party for his close friends and celebrities which took place at his residence. Inviting all the directors and technicians associated with their films, they celebrated quite well and the pictures have been out trending on the internet.
Directors Sukumar and Surendar Reddy who are directing Rangasthalam 1985 and Syeraa attended the party along with their families. Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, and Sai Dharam Tej have been active in the bash. Megastar interacted with the guests and spent some quality time during the Diwali party.
But the most shocking fact is that no actors and actresses from Tollywood are invited to this party like it happens in Bollywood. Wonder if mega family thought that those who are working with them at the moment are enough for parties.
Bharateeyudu 2: Kamal Made His Move
Legendary actor Kamal Haasan is occupied with enough work and some of his films have been kept on hold due to multiple issues. The entire shoot of Vishwaroopam 2 has been wrapped up but post-production work is not completing from ages. The shoot of Sabash Naidu has been kept on hold as the actor met with an accident. He even hosted Bigg Boss Tamil recently.
Most exciting news for fans of Kamal in the recent times is the sequel of Bharateeyudu that will be helmed by Shankar. While they have announced that Bharateeyudu 2 will be rolling next year, rumours have come that the film got stalled due to budget issues. All these sound rumours however, as Kamal made his big move already regarding this flick.

Pakistan-born Women’s education activist and Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai was viciously trolled on social media after an unverified picture surfaced online showed her wearing skinny jeans and heeled boots.
She was criticized in her home country of Pakistan for wearing western dress. Some social media users even compared her to Lebanese-American former Muslim porn star Mia Khalifa. The picture hasn’t been verified yet, but the hate continues to pour in.
Some netizens came to her defense and batted for letting the woman live the way she likes.
Ms Yousafzai, as a teenager, narrowly avoided death in 2012 after being shot in the head by the Taliban for her outspoken campaigning over girls’ rights to education. At 17, she received the Nobel prize in 2014, becoming the youngest personality to receive the honor. The now 20-year-old has recently joined a degree course in Oxford.
