Garuda Vega Trailer: Looks Promising!
With not having any credible film in years, when senior hero Rajasekhar was making his comeback with a film titled, ‘PSV Garuda Vega’, movie lovers had very least expectations. However, the promising teaser that was unveiled last month raised curiosity on the film, and the just-released theatrical trailer takes the expectations to sky high.
Garuda Vega looks to be a technically strong and adrenaline pumping action entertainer. The locations, razor sharp editing, pulsating background score and brilliantly looking action sequences make this trailer look nothing short of a Hollywood actioner. National award winning filmmaker Praveen Sattaru seems to be offering an edge of the seat thriller in his latest attempt.
The look and performance of antagonist Kishore seem terrific. The casting looks interesting too with the likes of Pooja Kumar, Shraddha Das, Ali and Nasser. Sunny Leone’s item song is a bonus for masses. The trailer looks extremely promising with high technical standards, and if the film can live upto what the trailer has promised, it can emerge a surprise success of this year.
Garuda Vega is slated to hit screens on 3rd November.
Balayya Hero, Rajasekhar Villain!
Just imagine an action film with Nandamuri Balakrishna as hero and veteran hero Rajasekhar as villain, doesn’t it look like one of the messiest combinations?
Last night, Balayya unveiled the theatrical trailer of Rajasekhar’s upcoming film, ‘PSV Garuda Vega’. Speaking at the event, Rajasekhar floored Balayya by addressing him as ‘Sir’, despite they are contemporaries. During his speech, Rajasekhar even said that they are doing a film together and that he plays villain while Balayya essays hero. All the guests including Balayya were amused at Rajasekhar’s words.
Even though Rajasekhar said it casually, wouldn’t it be amazing to see a film materializing where Balayya plays hero and Rajasekhar essays villain. It is known that sometime ago Rajasekhar had expressed his willingness to accept villain characters if he was offered meaty chances. It seems that the ‘Ankusam’ star has now given a direct hint to Balayya.
It is known that Jagapathi Babu had earlier turned hero with the Nandamuri hero-starrer, ‘Legend’. Will Rajasekhar be the next one? Anything can happen with the very unpredictable Balayya.
Revanth Meets Rahul: Ready to Join Congress?
TDP Working President A Revanth Reddy has reportedly met AICC Vice President Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi. During their meet, Rahul offered a key post to Revanth and the latter also expressed his interest to join Congress.
Reports says that Revanth went to Delhi on his personal work two days ago. During his stay, he got a call from Rahul office on Tuesday morning. He immediately rushed to AICC leader’s residence and held secret talks with the Congress leader.
Soon after the new Channels started telecasting the news about Ravanth’s joining, Revanth clarified that he will stay in TDP only. However, he did not rule out his meeting with Rahul.
Revanth has been unhappy in TDP ever since his senior leaders proposed poll alliance with TRS in 2019 elections. He strongly opposed sailing with the TRS as he fought tooth and nail against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s government.
Khakee Trailer: Fearless Cop
The theatrical trailer of hero Karthi’s upcoming film, ‘Khakee’ has been unveiled, and it promises to be an intense cop thriller.
Karthi is playing the role of a since police officer who is frustrated at the police department working as the security force of politicians than people. ‘Manam manchi vallani chedda valla nunchi kapade police udyogam cheyadam ledu sir, chedda vallani manchi valla nundi kapade chamcha udyogam chesthunnam,’ sums up hero’s characterization..his frustration at not being able to do his duty.
Rakul Preet looks bubbly and beautiful as the wife of a duty-bound cop. Her chemistry with Karthi looks quite pleasing. The background score is pulsating, the visuals are terrific and the film seems to be high on thrills and hard-hitting. The film is reportedly based on some heinous crimes happened over a decade, from 1995-2005.
Makers are planning for a simultaneous release in Tamil and Telugu in November.
MBO: Raju Gari Gadhi 2 Suffers Huge Drop
After a fantastic first weekend at the box office, Ohmkar’s horror comedy drama Raju Gari Gadhi 2 suffered a huge drop on Monday.
A drop in collections after a strong weekend is normal, but RGG2 suffered a steep fall, which might worry the buyers a bit. The film failed to pass the crucial Monday test with a poor ‘Monday Box Office’ show.
With a big release Raja The Great hitting the screens tomorrow, Raju Gari Gadhi 2 needs to hold in the coming days for the buyers to recover their total investment.
Thankfully, the film recovered nearly half of the buyers investment in the first weekend. It will now need another strong weekend to go near the safe zone.
However, there are two new films that are releasing in this week giving the film lovers multiple options during Diwali weekend.
Initial hype and attraction around RGG2 have died down and the film solely relies upon its content and competition to go further.
The film needs to collect Rs. 25 crore share to be considered as a hit, according to trade.
