Renu Bringing Pawan Every Day For TRPs?

Share

The name Renu Desai has not attached with Pawan Kalyan anymore though they may be referred as a former couple. However, whenever the name of this former heroine, model, and costume designer surfaces, always her ex-husband’s name is being taken up.

In one way or the other, there is a topic of Pawan Kalyan being touched by Renu Desai either in interviews, snippets or the dance show Neethone Dance where she’s acting as a judge. Even recently when a contestant danced to the tune of Gabbar Singh in a similar costume, Renu commented that he hasn’t even showcased the 1% energy of what Pawan has.

But frankly speaking, when it comes to dances, Pawan is no NTR or Allu Arjun that she would make comparisons and disappoint the contestant. Maybe in that context, there is no need pull Pawan’s energy concept into a discussion such that promos will be cut out of it and huge discussions will be made in social circles.

On a whole, this looks like something to amass TRPs through Pawan’s name ‘japam’. Maybe Renu wants it that way or the show makers advised her to do so, but this is not sounding good in a dance show, say observers. However, this ‘japam’ is also extended to interviews and others. Shouldn’t she give it a pause?

Disrespectful Trend : Pawan Fans to Blame?

Share

These days, we often see fans screaming and shouting the names of heroes, irrespective of the who the hero is, interrupting the speeches of and disrespecting technicians and artists during filmy events. Who should be blamed for this imprudent trend?

Fans having unparalleled adulation for their favorite heroes and expressing it when they directly see them at audio and other film-related events is very common and understandable. However, ‘some’ fans of Pawan Kalyan took their sycophancy to unbearable level with relentless slogans of ‘Powerstar’ at the actor’s audio events. Later, they started doing the same in the events of other mega heroes and eventually in the non-mega hero events too. Even though some actors and top technicians openly rebuked them for their alleged disrespectful behavior, least change was witnessed.

Now, it seems that fans of other heroes too, even the ones who have so-so stardom, have started emulating Pawan fans at events. Heroes may at first feel happy and proud at these unceasing slogans of their names but they should realize that all the technicians and artists on stage feel disrespected, they may eventually refrain from going onto the stage to share their feelings. The day seems not far away when technicians boycott such events to save their individual dignity.

It is the responsibility of the heroes to teach basic ethics to their fans in this regard.

No metro rail for Vijayawada: Rs 75 cr wasted!

Share

This is what is called penny wise pound foolish mentality. The Chandrababu Naidu government was finally forced to cancel the much-publicised Vijayawada metro rail project, as a result of which Rs 75 crore spent in the name of preparing project reports has gone down the drain.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has cancelled the Memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed with Amaravati Metro Rail Corporation (AMRC) for the Vijayawada metro rail project because of internal differences between the two.

Apparently, the Naidu government has entered into an agreement with the DMRC without even getting required permissions form the centre.

With the cancellation of the agreement, the DMRC has charged Rs 75 crore from the state government for the expenditure it has incurred on the preparation of project reports, surveys and other overhead expenses. The State government is now said to be bargaining on the amount.

The state government has even called tenders twice for the Vijayawada metro rail project, but cancelled the same in the wake of objections from the DMRC.

In the meantime, Naidu came up with yet another idea of having a light rail transit system for Amaravati as a result of which the metro rail project was shelved. An irked DMRC finally cancelled the agreement.

Anushka Sharma has films like the Sanjay Dutt biopic, Pari and Aanand L Rai’s untitled project in the pipeline while Virat Kohli is taking world cricket by storm.

Koratala Tweaks Solid Script

Mahesh Babu has joined the regular shoot of Koratala Siva’s political thriller “Bharat Ane Nenu” after returning to Hyderabad from his trip abroad. Putting the debacle of “Spyder” behind him, the superstar is now roaring to go.

After “Spyder” tanked at the box-office, director Koratala Siva has made certain changes to the script of “Bharat Ane Nenu”, a source from the movie unit tells GreatAndhra.com, to make sure that there are no loopholes.

Koratala Siva who has 100 per cent success rate has tweaked the script further to make it better.

Siva is said to have done enough work on the script that will not go wrong. He is confident that it would turn into an all-time biggest hit in both Mahesh’s and his career.

As he has plenty of time on hands to complete shoot, Koratala is going to up the technical quality of the film too.

The political thriller in which Mahesh Babu will be seen as the CM is scheduled for release on April 20, 2018.

Kiara Advani is paired opposite Mahesh. On the other hand, Mahesh is said to have asked music director Devi Sri Prasad to give him best tunes.

Mahesh was completely disappointed with Harris Jayaraj’s work in ‘Spyder’. So, DSP will be giving catchy tunes for “Bharath Ane Nenu”.

RGV to rope in new comers for NTR, LP roles

Share

It is now official. Controversial director Ram Gopal Varma is not going to bring in any senior actors to play the roles of senior N T Rama Rao and Nandamuri Lakshmi Parvathi in his forthcoming film “Lakshmi’s NTR,” a sort of biopic on the former chief minister and Telugu Desam Party founder-president in the perspective of his widow.

Varma told a popular Telugu television channel in a face-to-face interaction on Sunday that he had already started grooming a new comer who had resemblances with senior NTR.

He recalled that even for the role of dreaded dacoit Veerappan, he had picked up a look-alike new comer and given him extensive training.

“For the NTR role, too, I have chosen one person and is giving him training in mannerisms and style of NTR,” he said.

Asked about the role of Lakshmi Parvathi, too, Varma said he was taking another new actress.

“I am going to make the film for sure. No need for any doubts,” he said.

Varma’s clarification lays to rest all the speculations that popular actors like Mohan Babu or Prakash Raj are being considered for NTR’s role and actress-turned-MLA R K Roja for Lakshmi Parvathi character.

While there was no comment from Mohan Babu or Prakash Raj on the rumours, Roja, however, said she was ready to act in the film if she get a proper role, but she said Varma had not approached her till date.

The director also made it clear that there was no political agenda in making the film notwithstanding the fact that it was being produced by YSR Congress party leader.

“I will make the film in my own way, rather than under any other political pressure,” Varma said.

Lip-lock Filled Romance in Promising Horror Film

Share

The theatrical trailer of hero Siddharth’s upcoming film ‘Gruham’ had promised not just spine-chilling horror elements but also enough romantic quotient by giving a glimpse of an intense lip-lock shared by the actor with film’s leading lady Andrea Jeremiah.

The makers have now unveiled a romantic number from the film, and it is quite appealing for various factors; pleasant visuals, catchy tune and half a dozen lip-locks between Siddharth and Andrea. The two smartly looking actors have shared an intense and explicit chemistry in the song and it is hard to take eyes off the very gorgeous singer-turned-actress Andrea. The song is sure to be a delight to watch on big screen.

Since the film has been made as a trilingual, to be released on Telugu,Tamil and Hindi, the actors seem to have gone all out to please the modern age audience.
