Jagan’s Mother’s Day Wishes Spark Mixed Reactions

Share

Former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s relationship with his mother, Y.S. Vijayamma, has been a subject of public interest over the years. Once known for their close bond, the duo would often share warm, heartfelt moments. However, things took a surprising turn when Jagan approached the Companies Tribunal against his own mother, demanding back the shares he had given her in the Saraswati Power company. This decision sent shockwaves across the political world, raising doubts about their relationship.

On the occasion of Mother’s Day today, Jagan took to social media to share his wishes for his mother. “Happy Mother’s Day Amma,” he wrote. However, unlike his usual posts, Jagan refrained from sharing a photo of him with his mother, which has raised eyebrows. Instead, his message read, “Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mothers. Your love, strength, and sacrifice are immeasurable. Today, we honor you for all that you do.”

While many of his supporters in the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YCP) expressed joy over his message, sharing old pictures of Jagan and Vijayamma to celebrate the occasion, others took to social media with pointed remarks. Some netizens have harshly criticized Jagan for his past actions, with comments such as, “Are you filing any new cases on Mother’s Day, sir?” and “Didn’t you file a case against Vijayamma regarding Saraswati Power? On Mother’s Day, withdraw the case and give it to your mom as a gift.”

These mixed reactions highlight the ongoing tension surrounding Jagan and Vijayamma’s relationship, further amplified by his social media post. It seems that Jagan’s Mother’s Day message has reignited public discussions about his strained relationship with his mother and the political controversies surrounding them.

Suriya Surprises Director Prem with Dream Gift

Share

Gifting luxury cars isn’t unusual in the film industry—but sometimes, the emotion behind the gesture makes it unforgettable. That’s exactly what happened between actor Suriya and director Prem Kumar.

After helming the emotional drama Satyam Sundaram—a film that won hearts despite not becoming a commercial blockbuster—Prem Kumar had his eyes set on a particular dream: owning a white Mahindra Thar. He searched high and low for that exact model in white, even reaching out to Raja, a close associate of Suriya’s family, for help. Despite their combined efforts, they couldn’t find it.

Eventually, Prem had to redirect the funds he had saved for other priorities and decided to let the dream go. He informed Raja that he was moving on.

But silently, Suriya had been listening.

One day, Prem received a message from Suriya—with a photo of the exact white Mahindra Thar he had once dreamed of. Surprised and unsure, Prem called Raja, concerned he couldn’t afford the vehicle. That’s when the truth was revealed:
“This isn’t for sale. It’s a gift from Suriya.”

Stunned and overwhelmed, Prem was speechless. Suriya had quietly taken the time to locate the exact model, keeping the whole plan under wraps. That very day, an emotional Prem took the Thar on a 50-kilometer drive, simply soaking in the moment.

It wasn’t about the price. It was about the care, the effort, and the deep bond behind the gesture. A true example of friendship and appreciation in the world of cinema.

Vishwak Sen’s Comeback Bid with ‘Cult

Share

Vishwak Sen, fondly known as Mass Ka Das, has already proven his mettle as an actor. However, his journey as a director remains under scrutiny. While his debut directorial, Falaknuma Das, became a cult hit and marked a bold and impactful entry into direction, his second directorial venture, Das Ka Dhamki, failed to meet expectations and didn’t fare well at the box office.

Following this setback, Vishwak shifted his focus back to acting. Yet, despite several efforts, he couldn’t deliver a solid hit. Films like Laila were met with harsh criticism, forcing him to publicly apologize to his fans and promise better choices in the future.

Interestingly, Vishwak could have capitalized on the momentum from the success of Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi to scale up as an actor. But instead, he took a daring route early in his career by donning multiple roles—actor, director, and producer—with Falaknuma Das. The film not only showcased his talent on screen but also hinted at the potential he possessed behind the camera.

Currently, Vishwak is working on Funky, directed by Anudeep—renowned for his breezy entertainers. But the project generating the most buzz is Cult, his directorial comeback. Produced by Sai Kiran, son of former Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivasa Yadav, and with music composed by KGF fame Ravi Basrur, Cult is shaping up to be a crucial film for Vishwak.

After a rough phase and mounting criticism, Cult could be his shot at redemption as a filmmaker. Vishwak is carefully laying the groundwork for his return to direction, while striving to strike a perfect balance between his roles as an actor and a director. Only a hit with Cult can reaffirm his credibility behind the camera and bring him closer to his ambitious dream—crafting a sequel to Falaknuma Das.

Donald Trump Faces Backlash for Comments on Indo-Pak Conflict

Share

A wave of criticism has emerged in India over former U.S. President Donald Trump’s involvement in the Indo-Pakistan conflict, following a tweet that many interpreted as sarcastic and insensitive. Phrases such as “common sense” and “great intelligence” used in his statement were perceived as patronizing, leading to widespread frustration among Indian citizens.

Social media reactions were swift and pointed. One user bluntly wrote, “Who are you, Trump, to come in between? Keep your mouth shut!” — a sentiment echoed by many who felt Trump’s remarks were unwarranted and ill-timed.

Prominent Indian journalist Arnab Goswami also voiced his disapproval, criticizing Trump for seemingly taking undue credit for the ceasefire between India and Pakistan. Goswami emphasized that the ceasefire was initiated following Pakistan’s request, and that India had merely responded, not sought intervention.

Adding to the criticism, many users online questioned Trump’s shift in stance, pointing out that he had previously insisted on non-interference in the internal affairs of foreign nations. This perceived inconsistency further fueled the backlash.

Beyond Trump’s comments, public discourse also turned toward the ceasefire terms, with some netizens expressing concern that key strategic and diplomatic issues were being overlooked. Questions were raised about the Indus Water Treaty, the status of PoK (Pakistan-occupied Kashmir), and the case of Kulbhushan Jadhav.

One user remarked, “What about the Indus Water Treaty? What about PoK? What about Kulbhushan Yadav? All these issues should have been resolved before agreeing to a ceasefire.” Another disappointed post read, “India could have captured PoK before the ceasefire — I’m disappointed.”

Although views are divided, one thing is clear: the ceasefire announcement has caught many off guard, leaving a mix of skepticism, frustration, and concern about the long-term implications for India’s strategic interests.
