There is no denying that Congress Party is going through one of its worst phase ever. Especially in the successor state of Andhra Pradesh, the party is on ‘ventilator’ and is gasping for its survival. In Nandyal by-election the grand-old party has fielded a person from minority community, Abdul Khadar, in the fray. And there is no proper response as expected – not even from minorities.
Although a few Congress leaders stepped in to campaign for the candidate and party, there is no reception from the public. Senior leaders like Chiranjeevi have escaped, PCC president of AP Raghuveera Reddy is sole campaign face for Congress in Nandyal. And there is no use.
The former Agricultural minister in YS Rajasekhar Reddy cabinet is not getting due response at all. On other hand, both TDP and YSRCP is having a tug of war in Nandyal where they roped in several seniors to campaign in the constituency. While all major ministers, MLAs and leaders are campaigning for TDP in Nandyal and film actors Balakrishna, Venu Madhav too rallying, YSRCP has Roja, Jagan and other leaders.
Even there were no crowd for Jagan’s road show on sixth day and he had to wait for two hours to start his roadshow while his party leaders tried their best to gather crowd in meantime. Looks like, TDP is getting good response from people. The sympathy on Bhuma family too working in this favour. Yet, it is not going to be easy for the TDP either. Let’s wait and see.

Also when fans rush and storm into you, wear a smile and pose for photographs with them. Never express your happiness or sadness in public, but learn to sugar coat your speeches with only ‘beautiful’ words.
Also, Sir, Learn to use the influence of your brother-in-law and the image of your father to get some Padma awards and Nandi awards. Try to bag some endorsements related to cool drinks, jewelry shops, and other products to make some money. Don’t just limit yourself to publicity campaigns in elections, but try to sell some MLA tickets to make money. Or get rid of this MLA seat and go to Rajya Sabha with a smiling face.

The Difference Between Rana & Other Telugu Heroes
As part of promotions for ‘Nene Raju Nene Manthri’, director Teja and Rana Daggubati have sat down for a bilateral interview that was telecasted on TV channels. To one of the question put up by Rana, the maverick director made some interesting comments on Telugu heroes and what factors drove him to choose Rana.
When Rana quizzed why he narrated the NRNM story to him, Teja replied – “This story cannot be narrated to regular Telugu heroes because they would not like it. Usually in our Telugu cinema, hero will be the savior and totally a righteous man- he will save everyone in the film. So, when I narrate this story-which has both positive and grey shades for lead role-every other actor would deny to do it. So, I was looking for an Intelligent actor who doesn’t care of his image and eventually, found you. I had met/worked with many heroes in the past- they are not very receptive and think they know everything and that’s where the complication arrives.”
He further added to Rana -‘I was aware that you’re open to my versatile subjects considering your prior work experience with noted directors like Ram Gopal Varma, Puri Jagannadh, Krish and Rajamouli would also help me.’
Known for making terse and straight comments, Teja sailed through several controversies in the past and he tasted a success after long years of wait.

After a grand comeback with Khaidi No 150, Megastar Chiranjeevi is all set for his next movie Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy. The movie is said to be a periodic drama and is planned on a massive budget in multiple languages.

Actress Riya Sen’s ‘secret’ wedding with boyfriend Shivam Tewari in Pune the other day saw the attendance of only immediate family and a few closed friends. According to a few media reports, the actress’ pregnancy is the reason for the rushed wedding.

YCP Men Over-Action Gone Wrong! No Money In CM’s Vehicle
As the temperatures are certainly raising between Telugu Desham-YSR Congress in Nandyal by-polls, both the party chiefs are spearheading the campaign.
TDP Supreme and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu will take part in a ‘Road Show’ today and as part of CM’s tour, a pantry vehicle was sent from Vijayawada to Nandyal last night. But, the karyakartas of YSR Congress overplayed and pictured it as ‘container carrying crores of money to be supplied in Nandyal’.
A group of YSRCP folks who gathered at Gajulapalle Metta attempted to stop the government vehicle and they approached Election Commission officials on duty to perform the inspection on that vehicle (AP16Z0363). These people of opposition party further alleged, ‘Though the vehicle was found to be registered in the name of APSRTC, it was painted as Police, Government Vehicle.’
But, all their accusations proved to be totally wrong as EC authorities confirmed that vehicle was only carrying pantry items like vegetables and cooking utensils. The EC officials have already taken adequate measures to stop the flow of money into constituency until the polling the finished.
On Friday, policemen nabbed close to 25 people (YSRCP workers) for distributing money to voters and an amount of 4 lakh has been recovered from them.
Leaked : Kalyani Kissing Akhil
Here is the leaked-cum-released still from Akhil Akkineni’s second film. Akhil is seen kissing by Kalyani, daughter of Priyadarshan and Lissy, who is all set to make her on-screen debut with Akhil 2.0. Yet-to-be-titled, the film has Vikram Kumar, of Manam fame, wielding the megaphone.

It’s learnt that the film has more youth and college backdrop that is on the lines of Shiva albeit with Vikram’s touch. Nagarjuna is said to be super confident on this film and hopes that the film will help Akhil to bounce back after his disaster debut Akhil.
Nandamuri Fans Upset With Megastar!!
In a couple of days, Konidela Productions is going to unveil the first motion poster of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 151st film. Directed by Surender Reddy, the film happens to be a semi-fictional account of India’s first and foremost freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy.
According to the grapevine, Bollywood’s megastar Amitabh Bachchan has agreed to play a crucial role in the movie whose character lasts for only a short time. Upon Chiru’s request, Big B has given nod for this role though the makers are keeping it under the wraps. That’s where Nandamuri fans are getting a little upset.
Requesting Bachan to play a special role in his movie, even Nandamuri Balakrishna approached him for Rythu movie. With Big B not allotting dates for that, Balayya kept this project of Krishna Vamsi on hold. In a recent interview, Krishna Vamsi confirmed that the project is not taking off because of Big B’s lack of interest in it, while Balayya strongly wants only the Bollywood megastar.
Now that Big B has said yes to Chiranjeevi but not to Balayya, many are wondering what might have made him take a decision in Uyyalawada’s favour. Is it the script or something else? Anyway, for not picking Balayya’s film, right now fans are upset with Big B. That’s the story1!
Who Was First Choice to Play Arjun Reddy?
Vijay Devarakonda’s upcoming film “Arjun Reddy” is all set to hit screens next week. The film has good buzz going for it, thanks to the interesting promos. The film’s director Sandeep Vanga, who claims Vijay to be the perfect choice to play the ‘temperamental’ protagonist in his film, has now divulged that he had approached another young hero before zeroing in on the ‘Pelli Choopulu’ hero.
During a recent interview, Sandeep Vanga disclosed that he first narrated the story to Sharwanand, who liked it very much. ‘He however couldn’t come on board due to various reasons. After meeting Vijay Devarakonda, I felt he was perfect for the protagonist of my film,’ he added.
Taking about how difficult it was to get a producer, Vanga divulged, “It is not easy for a debut director to find a producer, especially if you have a novel script in hand. After many producers closed door on my face, my brother kept trust in me and invested money on my brainchild.’
The director claimed that ‘Arjun Reddy’ is not just about anger management and it has varied range of emotions. The film is slated to hit screens on August 25
