Looks like, Tollywood is least affected with the ongoing quizzing of the SIT in the drugs case. The other day, actress Madhu Shalini has thrown her birthday party at a posh pub in Jubilee Hills. Many of young heroes have made it to the pub.

Usually when drugs is rocking the tinsel town and many pubs in the city are under the scanner, usually, stars would think thrice before attending as unnecessarily nobody wants to get into unwanted trouble although they have done nothing wrong.

Young actors Sai Dharam Tej, Sundeep Kishan, Nikhil, Adivi Sesh, Nag Anvesh, Viva Harsha, actresses Hebah Patel, Swati, Anasuya have attended the party and spent quality time. The party said to have lasted till late night. The point-to-be-noted is that Madhu Shalini is close to director Puri and whole team of Puri who are clearly missing in the party.

Some Bollywood folks predict that the upcoming historical Hindi film ‘Taanaji’ can be the answer of Bollywood to Baahubali.

After actor Ajay Devgn unveiled the stunning first poster of his new film “Taanaji” on Twitter, netizens started praising it as ‘awesome’, ‘intense’, ‘mesmerizing’, ‘epic’ etc. Some even wrote that Taanaji will beat Baahubali and reclaim the monopoly of Bollywood.

The poster really looks astonishing but can it match the epicness of Baahubali? Is it so easy to humble Baahubali, an epic 5-year effort of Rajamouli, Prabhas and co? The visionary Ram Gopal Varma has recently said that after witnessing the success of Baahubali, many filmmakers will make foolish efforts to scale it.

Some Bollywood folks who couldn’t digest the fact that a Telugu film shattered their records, are vying for a Hindi film that can beat Baahubali. They bet that Taanaji can do that.

In the wake of Puri Jagan and his Bangkok tours and beach relaxations getting highly highlighted by both media and rumoured to be questioned by SIT team as well that is probing into drugs scandal, the dashing director gave some sensational answers about them.

Today while interacting with a media house, the star filmmaker stated that everyone will commit mistakes but only mistakes of celebrities get highlighted. “Even today if people ask about the man who killed a deer (black buck), they say Salman Khan. After Salman’s incident, lakhs of deers would have got killed but people say only his name because he’s a celebrity”, quipped Puri Jagan. But isn’t celebrity status a more responsible position?

“Yes, I agree. But the way to highlight something even before it is proved is not a worthy thing to do. And being a responsible person, I’m always showing that devotion, discipline, and concern for society in my films as well” he added.

What about his Bangkok trips anyway? “Actually people think that I’ll go to Bangkok only for sex and massages. But in reality, I’m there to write my scripts. If I’m into drugs, sex and massages all the time, how would I finish writing my scripts in just 15 days?” he asked. Giving more gyaan on his trip, he adds “Even my wife and children know that I get massaged by a 56-year-old lady name Ponsi. No one will get massages daily because it brings more body pains and I don’t get young teen gals to massage me”.

Puri also stated that even if someone whom you know from a long time hugs you there in Bangkok, people think that you have come for a sex session with her. Concluding his talk, he exuded confidence to come out clean from the drugs fiasco.

Director Puri Jagannath has reportedly equated his friend, business partner and actress Charmee with Goddesses when asked whether she also does drugs, during the SIT questioning.

It is known that Puri faced intense grilling by the SIT on Wednesday in connection with the drug scandal that hit Tollywood recently. The director has reportedly tried his best to keep his clam and claimed innocence, but he turned emotional and vociferously condemned when the officers pressured him to find out if Charmee also does drugs.

“Charmme is not the kind of woman who does drugs, she is a thorough professional and a decent, hardworking woman. She has struggled a lot to reach where she is today,” Puri reportedly told SIT officials. At one point, Puri said to have equated Charmme with Goddesses to convey that she was not into drugs.

As per reports, Puri looked angry and sounded very emotional when questioned whether he had supplied narcotics to Charmee.

Meanwhile, SIT officials have served a notice to Charmme also in connection with the drugs case and she would undergo interrogation very shortly.

Visibly angered by the humiliation and distress caused in public following the interrogation by police in drugs case and also the widespread media scrutiny, director Puri Jagannath has announced to revive his ambitious project ‘Jana Gana Mana’, allegedly to highlight the society’s mindset towards certain issues.

It may be recalled that Puri announced ‘Jana Gana Mana’ with Mahesh in early 2016. The project however didn’t materialize as the actor got busy with other films keeping Puri in waiting list. Puri had even vent his irritation on Mahesh in a media interview.

In the aftermath of him being projected as the main accused in the ‘Drugs case’, Puri has announced that making ‘Jana Gana Mana’ has now become his life ambition. “The script will highlight around 100 issues in the country, including the drug menace,” Puri revealed.

“‘I Love India, I Hate Indians’ is the tagline of my film, and you will understand the reason behind the tagline after watching the film. I am determined to make this issue-based film as I love my country and I feel social responsibility as an Indian. Those who are pointing fingers at me can’t make a film like ‘Jana Gana Mana’,’ Puri added.

Puri is known for satirical presentation of society’s perception towards certain aspects through his films. The tagline of Jana Gana Mana suggests that the film is intended to ridicule society, and it would be no less than a sensation from Puri.

The big date is coming and it is none other than August 6th. Tollywood’s most adorable couple Naga Chaitanya and Samantha are going to tie the knot. Big news doing rounds all these days is about the couple’s grand one-month honeymoon plan where they are supposed to head to New York for an exotic holiday.

Speaking about the same, gorgeous actress Samantha has condemned the whole of these stories doing rounds. She stated that there are no such plans for a honeymoon. “Of course, I and Chay will get wedded on August 6th in Goa in a family ceremony. That will be a simple wedding where the total of our relatives will present. But we are not having any plans for a honeymoon”, said Samantha. Wonder why?

“We have work commitments and just on the 3rd of our marriage, we both are going to attending our respective film shoots. Whatever you heard about our honeymoon package is false, only rumours” she added. Her fans are truly shocked by this revelation.
