Official: Pawan’s Heroine in Bunny’s NPS

Share

After a lot of speculations, an official announcement has come out regarding the female lead of Allu Arjun in his new film, ‘Naa Peru Surya’.

Anu Emmanuel, who is playing one of the leading ladies in Pawan Kalyan-Trivikram film, has been roped in to play the love interest of Bunny in NPS. Anu was reportedly finalized after considering the likes of Kannada actress Rashmika Mandanna, Nivetha Thomas and a few others.

After playing Nani’s love interest in ‘Majnu’ and Raj Tarun’s leading lady in ‘Kittu Unnadu Jagratha’, Anu may not have expected that her career will skyrocket so soon. A film each opposite Pawan and Bunny will surely place her as one of the contestants for the top position in Tollywood. Whatmore, she is reportedly being considered by Trivikram to play the heroine in his next film starring NTR Jr. Many Tollywood buffs are already calling Anu as the ‘Next Kajal of Tollywood’.

Meanwhile, ‘Naa Peru Surya’ will go on floors in the first week of August.

Babayi is in Heart: Ram Charan

Share

Ram Charan has won the hearts of mega fans with his impressive speech at the audio launch of Darshakudu. Looking upto cheering fans, Charan thanked each and every fan name by name and said all that he enjoy is because of fans who keep supporting him and his directors, his well-wishers. Charan said fans should clap for themselves for their unconditional love, support.

When fans shouted ‘Babayi’, ‘Babayi’, Charan said, “Babayi…we don’t talk about people we love daily. Right? Do we talk about our mother daily? Her company itself is more than enough. My family is more in my heart and little in my words.” Fans screamed and enjoyed as Charan continued. Usually tagged as reticent, non-firendly Charan opened up and spoke at length a the do – topics ranging from his family to the directors he worked to the recent films that he loved.

Talking about Darshakudu, Charan recalled that two great Telugu directors – Dasari Narayana Rao and K Raghavendra Rao come to his mind whenever he hears the word Darshakudu. Charan added that they are a great source of inspiration and said Sukumar is his favourite director. He said he has made him friendly in just 10 minutes whereas usually he takes a week or hours to bond with director.

Surprisingly, Charan said that he and his whole family enjoyed the recent film Ami Tumi and Pelli Choopulu. He wished both the directors from the stage. Charan credited his success to all the directors he worked with him till date. “Dad gave me a platform. But I owe my success to the directors because whom I’ve come a long way,” said Charan concluding his heartening speech by wishing the film’s producer Sukumar for success.

Zero for Chiru, 4 Cr for Nayantara

Share

If inside sources are to believed, actress Nayantara would be charging a bomb for Chiranjeevi’s 151st film Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. Nayantara is reportedly charging a whopping Rs 4 Crore as her remuneration for Uyyalawada, making her the most-expensive actress in South.

Nayan who usually charge 2 to 2.5 Crore per film, said to have agreed for 4 Crore for Uyyalawada which will be simultaneously shot in both Telugu and Tamil. This is not all. Producers have plans to dub the film into Malayalam, Hindi. Considering this, makers said to have agreed to pay 4 Crore to Nayan and the actress would also take part of the film’s promotion.

However, the film’s protagonist Chiranjeevi is not charging any remuneration formally. Since Chiru’s own son and actor Ram Charan is producing the film on home production Konidela Production Company, Mega Star wouldn’t be paid.

The film would be formally launched on August 15 and the film’s shoot is expected to commence from September. An official announcement is expected shortly. It is common knowledge by now that the high-budgeted film is going to be directed by Surender Reddy whose last film was Ram Charan’s Dhruva.

How Many Times Same Film Will Be Copied?

Share

If it is either a story line or characterization, then umpteen times most Indian films copied Ramayana and Mahabharatha, claiming that as inspiration. And these days, our directors are carving out stories basing on some Asian films as well. But surprisingly, one particular film is being copied for the third time now.

Way back in 2009, a Hongkong and French film “Vengeance” has come into the Indian market, thanks to the piracy torrents. Inspired by that time, while director Surender Reddy and team have carved out Jr NTR’s “Oosaravelli” movie, writer BVS Ravi crafted Gopi Chand’s “Wanted” movie. While that Hongkong movie is a super hit, these two Telugu films are disasters. Even after looking at the results, our makers are not leaving that “Vengeance” alone.

Other day release “Patel SIR” also featured a “Vengeance” inspired story line only. The primary plot of this film is, a family gets murdered by a big mafia don and one person from the family seeks who has memory loss issues seeks revenge on them. Making some modifications to these elements and creating new heroes in between these scenes, our Tollywood churned out some bad stories.

Well, sometimes adaptation requires good writing skill rather blatantly making some silly changes which don’t work. But seriously, stop copying this film dudes!!

Drugs Case: Who Is That Top 3 Hero?

Share

As officials from Excise and Enforcement department are getting ready to unravel the murky links of Telugu film industry with Drugs, both consuming and peddling, a gossip is doing rounds which could really destroy the business of cinema big time.

Apparently, a gossip reads, “A top hero, one among the top-three stars of Tollywood is doing drugs”. And that led to discussion everywhere as to whom that hero is. Because if we leave Megastar Chiranjeevi, then we have three heroes really competing for the throne in Tollywood. Among them, one happens to be a shy guy who never even likes to booze. The other two are completely family-types and are not seen even partying anywhere. One likes to do baby sitting and another one is a globetrotter. So literally there is no chance to point fingers at them.

If we take the next set of stars, they don’t have even time to spend quality moments with family as they are always engrossed in shootings. With back to back films in the pipeline and continually delivering projects to entertain fans, we can’t even expect this next set of stars involved in such hardcore partying laced with drugs.

Other than these top stars, we have another layer of stars who come on the second line. And the top three from this batch is also busy with films all the time though occasionally seen partying. In case if they are doing drugs, definitely their late arrivals at sets and their delayed projects would have become the talk of the town. But never we have heard about such stuff about the top three from this second set of stars too.

So, who is that one among the top three stars that are doing drugs in Tollywood is the big question now. Or this is just a rumour churned out by media to rake up TRPs?
