Ravi Teja On Camera: Media Irritates More

Share

For the first time ever since the death of his beloved brother Bharath, hero Raviteja has come in front of media cameras to clarify some stuff. But that too turned another irritating interaction for the happening hero with some media folks repeatedly irritating him.

“Some people have written and published that we’re not interested in Bharat and got his final rites performed by a Jr artist. That’s quite wrong. Please don’t resort to such irresponsible and insensible reporting. My uncle (dad’s brother) and younger brother took care of the cremation. Me, my dad and mom haven’t turned up there because we don’t want to see the blood-soaked face of Bharat. That’s it”, said Ravi Teja.

But media people went on asking him why he’s posing in a smiling manner in a selfie clicked on the sets of “Raja The Great” shooting next day. “I’ve attended the shoot next day because it’s tough for a producer to set combination dates, and huge money will be wasted if shoot didn’t happen. It’s not that I’m not feeling sad for the loss of my brother”, he added.

As some media folks repeatedly kept asking (and saying) what’s wrong in reporting what they have seen clearly at the cremation site, Ravi Teja requested everyone with folded hands to not spread false words about their family. In a jiffy, he has left the place, as media’s questions started turning more irritating.

Mokshagna As Jr NTR, Balayya As Sr NTR

N.T.R is a big word, a history and a phenomenon. As filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma other day announced that he’s going to carve the biopic of this legendary actor and politician, many are looking forward to seeing when will Nandamuri Balakrishna break his silence about this project.

On that note, it is being heard that Varma has come up with an interesting proposal through this landmark movie. He wants to launch Balayya’s son as well into films with this biopic itself, tentatively titled “Jai NTR”. In case if you’re amused what role Balayya’s son Mokshagna will play in this movie, here goes the idea.

While Balayya will play both the cine-hero version and political version of Sr NTR, his son Mokshagna will be seen as a Junior. That means, he will be playing the younger version of N T Ramarao during his Nimmakuru days. That’s the idea of Varma as of now, say insiders, spilling some beans.

Already fans are worried about the point that Varma is going to direct this biopic and now they are double shocked as the news of Mokshagna making his debut with this biopic under Varma’s direction. Let’s see what happens.

Posani’s Sensational Comments on NTR’s Biopic

Share

Writer-turned-actor Posani Krishna Murali, who is known for not mincing words however sensitive a situation is, has opined that making a biopic on Sr NTR is not a good idea.

In a recent interview, Posani said that he has utmost respect for Ram Gopal Varma and that he can only request him to stay away from touching NTR’s personal life.

‘RGV is well aware of NTR’s life. Every eminent leader has made a few mistakes knowingly or unknowingly. NTR’s biopic can’t be made without touching his personal life, and Telugu people will tear screens, hurl stones in theatres and they may even come after the makers if NTR is portrayed in bad light in his biopic. Hence I request the people in command not to make the biopic,’ Posani said.

He further said that it is best not to touch the life of NTR as Telugu people can’t accept negative things about him. ‘Every biopic that has been made so far has become controversial. If NTR’s biopic is made, not just his family members but all the Telugu speaking people will be dejected,’ said Posani.

When asked his opinion on Lakshmi Parvathi’s comment of ‘Balayya being unsuitable to play the role of NTR’, Posani refrained from making any comment. He added that he respects her and that she may have made that comment against Balayya out of agony.

Amid ‘escalated’ North Korea threat, U.S. carries out missile drill with South Korea

Share

The U.S. on Wednesday confirmed that North Korea test launched an intercontinental ballistic missile for the first time and warned of an “escalated threat” from Pyongyang, while carrying out a joint missile drill with South Korea in response.

In the show of strength that followed the ICBM launch by the hermit nation, U.S. and South Korean soldiers fired missiles into the latter’s territorial waters on Tuesday to showcase their “precision fire capability,” chief Pentagon spokesperson Dana White said.

According to a statement by U.S. forces in South Korea, the exercise “utilised the Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS) and the South Korea’s Hyunmoo Missile II, which fired missiles into territorial waters of South Korea along the East Coast.”

The Pentagon said that America’s commitment to the defence of its allies in the region — South Korea and Japan — in the face of threats is “ironclad.”

“The launch continues to demonstrate that North Korea poses a threat to the United States and our allies. Together with the Republic of Korea, we conducted a combined exercise to show our precision fire capability,” Ms. White said.

U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, who confirmed the launch in a statement, said America would never accept a nuclear-armed North Korea.

“The United States strongly condemns North Korea’s launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile. Testing an ICBM represents a new escalation of the threat to the United States, our allies and partners, the region, and the world,” Mr. Tillerson said.

The U.S. has also requested an emergency meeting of the U.N. Security Council, which is expected to take place on July 5.

“We intend to bring North Korea’s provocative action before the U.N. Security Council and enact stronger measures to hold the DPRK accountable,” Mr. Tillerson said.

He also called for “global action” to stop a “global threat.”

“The U.S. seeks only the peaceful denuclearisation of the Korean Peninsula and the end of threatening actions by North Korea,” he added.

At a White House event, U.S. President Donald Trump, without mentioning North Korea, said that the U.S. will handle its challenges. “We do have challenges, but we will handle those challenges. Believe me.”

On That Kshanam Anasuya Gets Emotional!

Share

Anchor-turned-actress Anasuya said to have turned emotional at the recently held SIIMA Awards when she got an award for Best Supporting Actor (Female) for her stint in Kshanam where she was seen in a de-glam role of cop. As soon as the jury announced her name based on popular vote, Anasuya got emotional and she almost had mist-eyes when she got onto the stage.

Even though then host comedian Ali tried to get her talk about how she was feeling upon receiving the award, Anasuya said that she was loss for words as this is her first award and she’s very emotional.

Anasuya said that she is usually talkative but for first time she said she is finding it difficult to talk. A lot of times, emotions dominate words and they say it all. One could understand what Anasuya was going through given that she managed to get into films despite her media tag.

However, after decent debut with Kshanam and a brief appearance in Soggade Chinni Nayana, Anasuya is yet to grab good opportunities. Her special number in Winner has been tanked. So professionally, it’s not going to be easy for Anasuya in coming days unless and until she gets a big success.

Ramanujan symbolises talent of people of India: Netanyahu

Share

Renowned Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan symbolises the talent of people of India, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said, emphasising that the two countries believe in the partnership of talent.

Expressing his admiration for Ramanujan, Mr. Netanyahu said he was one of the greatest mathematicians of all times.

“We have a great admiration for people of India. I told you about my late uncle professor, who was a mathematician at the Israel Institute of Technology. He told me many times about his admiration for the great Indian mathematician Ramanujan,” Mr. Netanyahu said in a statement along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“He was perhaps the greatest mathematician in many centuries. And this symbolises the talent of people of India, as we know we have talent in Israel. We believe in this partnership of talent,” he added.

Ramanujan’s great contribution

Ramanujan, who died at an early age of 32, has contributed to mathematical analysis, including infinite series and continued fractions.

The Israeli prime minister said he and Modi both seek a better future for the people of the two countries.

“It requires a lot of work, it won’t happen overnight but Prime Minister Modi and I want this to happen,” he said.

To Israel with love: Modi says ‘Shalom’, Netanyahu rolls out red carpet

Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed at the Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv on Tuesday on a three-day visit to Israel. Describing his visit to Israel as a “groundbreaking” one, PM Modi said that it was his “singular honour to be the first ever Prime Minister of India” to visit the country.

PM Modi was given a red carpet welcome by Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu upon his arrival after which both leaders made short statements before leaving the airport to take part in the official engagements and programmes for the day.

“Welcome to Israel…Aapka Swagat Hai Mere Dost. We have been waiting for you for 70 years. We love India, admire your culture, history, democracy and commitment to progress. I remember what you told me in our first meeting – when it comes to India and Israel relations, the sky is the limit… What took so long for [our ties] to blossom? It took a meeting of hearts and minds,” Netanyahu said in his short statement upon Modi’s arrival.

He added: “I am confident of the real mathematics of life, of the success of our partnership for many reasons; the talent of our people… You are a great leader of India and a great world leader… Together, we can do even better. Welcome to Israel my friend PM Modi.”

Another Wrong Move By YS Jagan?

Share

Chances, opportunities come rarely in politics. When they come in the way, one has to jump and grab them else has to pay a heavy price. AP’s Opposition leader YS Jagan has missed one such good opportunity. The Presidential Election is in fact a good chance for Jagan Reddy to turn it into his favour. Considering that both BJP and TDP have failed to deliver their electoral promise of Special Category Status,  there is a great dissent in people of AP. And Jagan Reddy who has been stating that he would continue his fight for the cause of Special Category Status for AP, missed out a great chance to highlight the issue nationally by denying his support.

Contrary to it, Jagan’s open and unconditional support to BJP-led NDA’s Presidential Candidate Ramnath Kovind has come as a shocker. In fact, Jagan announced his support to NDA choice much before it confirmed its candidate. Jagan had visited New Delhi in May and met PM Narendra Modi and even publicly stated that his party would support NDA’s presidential candidate irrespective of their choice. This is seen as a wrong move by Jagan.

What Jagan achieves by supporting NDA’s choice? By wooing BJP, Jagan gains nothing given that Naidu has been close confidante of NDA. Jagan could have remained neutral by denying his support to both NDA and UPA who singled out AP during the bifurcation. But Jagan going ahead and competing with TDP to support BJP’s choice of Presidential candidate is surprising to many including political pundits.

Also, Jagan’s support to BJP and Modi have not gone well with with a section of his party’s sympathizers. A section of community which supports Jagan is now miffed with Jagan’s attempt to get close to BJP. Considering all these equations, Jagan seems to be getting it wrong again. Well, only time will tell. Let’s wait and watch.

We’ve Waited 70 Years For You!!!

Share

That would be the warmest ever dialogue anyone has ever told to our very own Prime Minister Narendra Modi. But it’s true. Despite sharing 25 years of diplomatic relations and Israel being the greatest support to India in terms of police training and others, never an Indian PM visited that country. No doubt, Modi has done an unthinkable.

Other day, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has received Narendra Modi straight at the airport giving him a red-carpet reception. This kind of welcome was given only to American President and Pope till date by the Israeli authorities, said officials. Immediately after Modi landed in Tel Aviv airport and received, Netanyahu said, “We have waited 70 years for you. Aapka Swagat Hai Mer Dost”.

Modi, who is on a 3-day visit to Israel, will be accompanied by the Israeli premier all the time throughout these days. Upon such a warm welcome, even Modi responded in Hebrew, saying, “Shalom, I’m happy to be here”. In this meet, Benjamin Netanyahu showered praises on Indian culture and Make In India policy.

And guess what, in view of an Indian PM’s first visit to Israel that was formed in 1948, a fastest growing flower in that country, Israeli Chrysanthemum, is now named MODI, in our PM’s honour.

What Worrying Nandamuri Fans

Share

As soon as the news about RGV directing Nandamuri Balakrishna for the biopic of legendary NTR came out, it has become a subject of discussion among Nandamuri fans. Although most of the fans are eagerly waiting to see the life story of NTR who had been an icon, doyen, the name of RGV popping out is said to be worrying many of NTR and Balayya fans.

In addition to it, RGV announcing that he would touch a few ‘controversial’ topics it has added fuel to the ongoing apprehensions. Many of NTR fans are wanting Ramu to showcase only his good phase and avoid the unwanted controversies.

Besides this, Ram Gopal Varma has a poor track record at Box Office. His last film Vangaveeti too didn’t do wonders despite its huge build up, hype. But RGV has projected NTR very well in Vangaveeti. So, it has to be seen how far Ramu would do justice to the biopic of NTR. Given that the film is expected for release ahead of general elections, even top brass of TDP is very anxious about the film.

Since it’s a once in a life time opportunity, fans are expecting NTR Biopic to be a landmark film.
