Has Trivikram Found Another Samantha?
If we take a look at the filmography of Trivikram, he has the knack of retaining not just key technicians but also heroes and heroines.
Trivikram has made three films with Pawan and two each with Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun. Coming to heroines, he has repeated Ileana in ‘Julayi’ after casting her first time in ‘Jalsa’. Later, he raised many eye brows by casting Samantha in three back to back movies – Attharintiki Daredi, S/o Satyamurthy and A..Aa.
If the latest reports in tinsel town are anything to go by, Trivikram may have found his next Samantha. Buzz is that Trivikram is considering Mallu beauty Anu Emmanuel for his next film starring NTR in lead role. Anu is currently playing one of the female leads in his current film starring Pawan Kalyan.
Reportedly, Trivikram was so impressed with Anu’s quick understanding of Telugu and her effervescent screen presence that he has almost confirmed her to romance NTR in his next film. Going by how Trivikram has earlier repeated Samantha and Ileana, there is little surprise when he opted to retain a heroine as charming as Anu Emmanuel. In such case, Anu can be considered as the luckiest young actress after Sam.
Meanwhile, Anu is also under consideration to romance Allu Arjun in ‘Naa Peru Surya’.
Release in 3 Weeks, Reshoots Now?
Director Sekhar Kammula’s latest movie is “Fidaa” which has Varun Tej and Sai Pallavi in the leads. While the trailer of the film looked smooth and suave, what is little worrying is the way our director will blend these characters without any trace of his previous films.
According to the grapevine, Fidaa team is still shooting and all of a sudden they claimed that today is the last shooting day for the film. With the film set for July 21st release, wonder what is Sekhar Kammula shooting just 3 weeks before the release while he has plenty of time earlier. Reports are coming that producer Dil Raju suggested some changes in the film’s second half and Sekhar is busy shooting them on Varun Tej and other actors.
Though reshoots are not a new thing, neither a wrong thing, they should have confirmed the release and all after locking the final version of the film, says mega fans. As this film is coming after disasters like Loafer and Mister, fans don’t want to hear anything other than positive about Fidaa movie.
On the brighter side, Fidaa’s Vachinde song is enthralling masses for its language, words and visuals. It looks like Sai Pallavi will be a stunning revelation once the film releases, while Varun Tej is trying to stick only to his class-side.

After tearing down Box-office in first week, DJ is likely to continue the smooth ride in second week too as no major bigges have seen light on last Friday. Over the second weekend, DJ pocketed around 4.75 Crore share took the 10 days total to 55.34 Crore in both Telugu states.
The worldwide share is estimated at 70 Crore by end of 10 days run and the gross is calculated at 115 Crore, becoming the career-best in Bunny’s career.
U.S.-backed forces in Syria breach wall of Old City of Raqqa
U.S.-backed forces in Syria have breached the wall surrounding the Old City of Raqqa as they try to retake the city from the Islamic State group, the US Central Command has said.
“Coalition forces supported the SDF advance into the most heavily fortified portion of Raqqa by opening two small gaps in the Rafiqah Wall that surrounds the Old City,” Centcom said in a statement, referring to the Syrian Democratic Forces.
U.S.-backed fighters pierced jihadist-held Raqqa from the south for the first time on Sunday, crossing the Euphrates River to enter a new part of the Syrian city, a monitor said.
The Syrian Democratic Forces have spent months closing in on the IS bastion and entered the city’s east and west for the first time last month.
Centcom said the SDF faced heavy resistance at the wall from IS fighters who used it as a combat position and planted mines and improvised explosive devices against advancing U.S.- backed soldiers.
“Conducting targeted strikes on two small portions of the wall allowed coalition and partner forces to breach the Old City at a locations of their choosing, denied ISIS the ability to use pre-positioned mines, IED and VBIEDs, protected SDF and civilian lives, and preserved the integrity of the greatest portion of the wall,” the US statement said.
“The portions targeted were 25-metre sections and will help preserve the remainder of the overall 2,500-metre wall,” it added.
According to the coalition, an estimated 2,500 IS jihadists are defending the northern city.
IS overran Raqqa in 2014, transforming it into the de facto Syrian capital of its self-declared “caliphate,” which it declared three years ago.
The city became infamous as the scene of some of the group’s worst atrocities, including public beheadings, and is thought to have been a hub for planning attacks overseas.
The United Nations has expressed concern for up to 100,000 civilians it says are still trapped in the city.
North Korea fired ballistic missile, says South Korean military
Korea launched a ballistic missile on Tuesday, the South’s military said, just days after Seoul’s new leader Moon Jae-In and U.S. President Donald Trump focused on the threat from Pyongyang in their first summit.
The launch, which comes as the U.S. prepares to celebrate the Fourth of July holiday, was the latest in a series of provocations that have ratcheted up tensions over the nuclear-armed North’s weapons ambitions.
The “unidentified ballistic missile” was fired from a site near Banghyon in North Phyongan province, the South’s military said in a statement, and came down in the East Sea, the Korean name for the Sea of Japan.
The device may have come down in Japan’s exclusive economic zone, a spokeswoman for Tokyo’s defence ministry told AFP — waters extending 200 nautical miles from its coast.
Pyongyang has carried out multiple launches since Moon — who backs engagement with the North but also stresses the need for sanctions — was elected in May.
At their summit in Washington at the weekend, Trump declared that the U.S. had run out of patience with North Korea over its weapons drive, which includes developing a missile capable of delivering a warhead to the U.S. mainland.
“Together, we are facing the threat of the reckless and brutal regime in North Korea,” Trump said. “The nuclear and ballistic missile programs of that regime require a determined response.”
Motorola reveals 6 new Moto Mod concepts out of proposed 12 at Ghana event
Lenovo-owned Motorola has lived up to its promise of showcasing at least twelve Moto Mods per year by unveiling six of them at a recent media event in Ghana. The event was reportedly hosted in partnership with MTN, and it was recorded and uploaded by GhanaWeb TV in a 17-minute long video.
Although Motorola had uploaded its own version of video showcasing the new Moto Mods, it was later removed for some unspecified reason. Those who missed the event earlier can check out all the action in the official video posted by GhanaWeb TV that’s embedded below:
Curious Motorola fans can check out a brief description along with the image renderings of each of these announced Moto Mods below, thanks to techroider who was the first to publish them. Moto 360 Camera mod
The 360 Camera mod is undoubtedly the weirdest offering showcased at the event with its awkwardly-large cylinder popping out of the top with two wide-angle cameras on each side. The camera mod is reportedly capable of capturing 360-degree videos and images.
Additionally, the mod supports live-streaming of captured 360-degree videos on a variety of social media services like Facebook Live and Instagram Live. And Bunny concludes by taking an example of Baahubali. “Even Baahubali is rated great film because it is a multi-genre movie. We’re Indians and we don’t like eating single dish for lunch. We need all varieties from biryani to fry to soda for lunch. So we have to own this multi-genre format and promote it.
