Manushi Chhillar of Haryana, who studied in Delhi’s St Thomas School, has been adjudged as FBB Colors Femina Miss India 2017. She has been crowned as Femina Miss India on Sunday night at a glittering event held in Mumbai. Femina Miss India 2016 titleholder Priyadarshini Chatterjee has crowned the winner Manushi Chhillar.

Miss Jammu and Kashmir Sana Dua walked away as the 1st runner up in the grand do. She is an alumna of Noida’s Army Public School. Priyanka Kumari from Bihar is the second runner-up.

Miss India Andhra Pradesh 2017 Srishti Vyakaranam and Miss India Telangana 2017 Simran Choudhary tried their luck but couldn’t succeed.

Rajamouli has committed to do a movie for producer KL Narayana. This movie will have Mahesh in the lead as per Rajamouli.

But before that Rajamouli has to do a movie for DVV Danayya. The genius filmmaker hasn’t zeroed in on the lead actor as yet.

After making visual effects loaded movies like Eega and Baahubali, the top director is now looking to do an emotional film sans VFX.

His father, veteran writer Vijayendra Prasad has been working on the script. Rajamouli will confirm the lead actor once the script is ready. Buzz has it that NTR is the frontrunner for Rajamouli’s next film.

The opening weekend figures of Duvvada Jagannadham show that it is playing well to the audiences, despite mixed talk from critics and day-1 goers. Domestically, including two Telugu speaking states, the film’s share has outpaced 40 Crore mark already and managed to gain Rs 45 Crore worldwide. Grapevine has it that senior actors Arjun and Sriram have walked out of the sets of Lie during the film’s shoot in the US. Apparently the duo is upset with the functioning of director Hanu Raghavapudi.

Hanu reportedly penned some scenes after coming to the set and this said to have caused in delay resulting in upsetting actors Arjun, Sriram (alias Srikanth). First it was Arjun who left to his hotel from the sets and it’s followed by Sriram the other day.

Filmmaker Vamsi Paidipally says his next yet-untitled Telugu project with superstar Mahesh Babu will be a big film for both their careers.

While remaining tight-lipped about the film and its genre, Paidipally told IANS: “Mahesh is very excited. When he heard the first narration, he was ready to go ahead. It’s going to be a big film in both of our careers.”

The project marks Paidipally’s first collaboration with Mahesh.

“Mahesh as an actor is ready to embrace everything. As a director, I really can’t ask for more and that’s what makes this film really exciting,” Paidipally said.

Paidipally earned critical acclaim for his last film, “Oopiri”, a slice-of-life drama which explores the relationship between a quadriplegic millionaire and his convict-turned-caretaker.

Asked if we can expect another slice-of-life flick with Mahesh Babu, he said: “It’s too early to talk about the film.”

Pooja Hegde is rumoured to be the leading lady.

Mumbai: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan on Sunday complained to social networking site Facebook after he was not able to access all the features on his account.

“Hello Facebook. Wake up. My page does not open fully. Been like this for days! Had to use this medium to complain, sad,” the 74-year-old posted on Twitter on Sunday.

Amitabh, who has over 27 million followers on both Facebook and Twitter, likes to keep his fans updated about his day-to-day lifestyle. He even maintains a blog that he has been writing for a few years now.

On the work front, Amitabh is currently busy shooting for “Thugs of Hindostan” in Malta along with superstar Aamir Khan.
