From a long time, ace producer Dil Raju is expressing his dream, the only big one, that he should make a film with Pawan Kalyan at least once. Since the times of Toliprema, Dil Raju distributed almost all the films of Powerstar but never got a chance to produce his movie.

Earlier many times Dil Raju stated that Pawan Kalyan promised a film to him, but that never materialised. As rumours are coming out that the Janasena president will stop working on films after another one, a worried Raju rushed to the sets of Trivikram’s movie to catch up with Powerstar.

“Recently I’ve met him on Trivikram’s movie set. Pawan Kalyan told me, ‘Come up with a script, that’s it. If the story is suitable then I’ve no qualms to start a project in your production’. So I’m looking forward to directors and also stories, which suite Pawan” said Dil Raju, talking about his film with the matinee idol.

Though the producer of National Award winning Satamanam Bhavati got such promise from Pawan Kalyan many times, we hear that the actor is not liking the stories submitted by this star producer for reasons unknown. While Dil Raju is the master of churning out family dramas, somehow he’s missing the secret ingredient that could impress Pawan. Guess he finds that out soon.

From a long time, Allu Arjun is trying to getting into the big A-Star league where stars like Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan and Jr NTR are showing their hawa. If we look at the Day-1 collections of DJ sans Baahubali collections, the film made pretty close numbers to Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi No 150 (23+ Cr share on Day 1), Pawan’s Katamarayudu (22+ Cr), Jr NTR’s Janata Garage (20+ Cr) which scored above 20 crore share on First Day. Other close competitors are Mahesh’s Srimanthudu (14.5+ Cr) and Ram Charan’s Bruce Lee (12.5+ Cr). Those numbers are highest for those actors irrespective of the hit/flop talk of the movie. And now DJ scored 18+ Crore share on the First Day, making Bunny no less than any of them and much ahead than Mahesh and Charan.

For reaching that stage and scoring such big opening figures, Allu Arjun is said to be very satisfied with his hard work and growing fanbase. He wants to make sure that these openings are secured for his upcoming films as well. That’s why even a Divide Talk made this emerging superstar happy.

Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor, who has divorced her husband Sanjay Kapoor a few years ago, has treated her followers on social media with a bikini photo on the eve of her birthday.

The 42-year-old Karisma has celebrated her birthday this year holidaying in France. Just a day ahead of her birthday, on June 25, she took to social media to share a special photo of herself. Wearing a black halter bikini, she definitely didn’t look 40 plus. Her fans poured in compliments praising her stunning looks.

Action King Arjun has completed 150 films as an actor.

His 150th film titled Kurukshetram is gearing up for release in July. Directed by Arun Vaidyanathan, the landmark film of Arjun is a serial killer thriller.

Arjun is seen as a police officer who solves the mystery behind the serial murders in a city.

Prasanna, Varalaxmi, Vaibhav, Suhasini and Suman are doing other important roles in Kurukshetram.

It is originally made in Tamil as Nibunan and dubbed into Telugu and Kannada languages.

It will be released simultaneously in all the three languages.

Teaser of Kurukshetram looks promising with an interesting premise.

Arjun has a good following among the masses in Telugu states and his 150th film is expected to get good reception from Telugu audience.

Sridevi’s daughter Jhanvi Kapoor is yet to join Bollywood but the actress says she has already told her girl about the pros and cons of being an actor.

The 53-year-old actress says initially Jhanvi was getting affected of what was being written about her personal life in media.

“The other day she was very upset with reports that she was chasing a hero in a party, but that was not true. She was with director Gauri Shinde who was also there at the same party. Since it’s happening in the beginning of her career she isn’t liking it. She was quite upset and I was like, ‘Welcome to this world,” Sridevi said.

There were reports that Jhanvi had followed Ranbir Kapoor, supposedly her celebrity crush, around at a showbiz party.

Sridevi says now that her daughter has decided to come into films, she really cannot stop anyone from writing about her.

“There is nothing wrong in going out with friends. A person wants to write something wrong, he will write it even if you are just going out with friends. I can’t stop that as she is a public (figure now). I have no control over anything.”

The actor says she knows her daughter too well, and therefore does not care what others say.

“I know what she is doing and where she is going. I am a very friendly mom and my children share everything with me. I don’t have anything much to say about all this.”

Jhanvi has been in news for her appearance at social events and parties for a while now and Sridevi says she is okay with her getting all the attention by paparazzi.

Wherever she goes she gets clicked, so what do I say about that. Even when you go to a restaurant or gym or anywhere, they (media) are  everywhere and I can’t blame them also as they are doing their job.

“But at the same time it is quite tough (to deal with all this), but she has chosen this profession so she has to cope up with this.”

Jhanvi, whose father, Boney Kapoor, is a well known producer, will be launched by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.

Meanwhile, Sridevi is gearing up for the release of her film “Mom” on July 7.

The thriller is directed by Ravi Udyawar and also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Pakistani actors Adnan Siddiqui and Sajal Ali in pivotal parts. (PTI)
