It’s just hours ago the trailer of Rana Daggubati’s “Nene Raju Nene Mantri” got released and immediately political circles are getting heated up with the debate on the story of the movie.

Actually, the film looks like a guy’s journey, in both positive and negative ways, to become Chief Minister of a state. Going by the looks, dialogues and content there, some political pundits are opining that the film’s story is loosely based on opposition leader YS Jagan. Some say that Jagan’s challenge to become a Chief Minister of AP after his father, late YSR’s death, is what could be looked through Rana’s character. Also, the name of the lead guy in the film is Jogendra and it sounds close to Jagan, say a few.

Whatever it may be, many times writers often carve out scenes that have real life inspiration. That doesn’t mean a particular politician’s life is fully being translated to the silver screen. For now, director Teja and hero Rana are maintaining that this is a pure work of fiction.

In another contest, Nene Raju Nene Mantri looks like a simple rehash of “Leader” movie where a leader dies suddenly and his son uses many tricks in the book to get back to power. What Rana, what’s cooking with this film?

There is no confirmation yet over whether NTR Jr will be essaying the role of Sr NTR in ‘Mahanati’, but the makers have reportedly pulled off a major casting master stroke.

As per the buzz in film circles, veteran actor Manchu Mohan Babu has been roped in to play the character of legendary Telugu actor SV Ranga Rao. The shoot of Rajinikanth’s starrer Kaala has reportedly killed a unit member, who’s taking part in erecting set for second schedule of the movie in Chennai. Unfortunately, the saddening incident took place when that unit member, whose name is not known, came in contact with a short-circuit wire while working on the sets.

The cast & crew of Kaala are in a state of shock, and the makers are in a perplexed state whether to continue shoot or go for a short break. Understandably, fans of Rajinikanth mourned the demise of unit member and wish no such incidents on sets of superstar’s films.
