Bold actress Hebah Patel has often been in news ever since she stunned the Telugu youth with her sexy performance in Sukumar’s ‘Kumari 21F’. If not the movies, her alleged affairs kept her in headlines.

Hebah was primarily linked to Raj Tarun. Rumors of their affair strengthened since they acted together in three movies in very short span. As expected, both of them denied the reports on separate occasions. Lately, Hebah’s name is linked to young hero Nag Anvesh. The duo will soon be seen romancing each other in the upcoming Telugu film ‘Angel’.

Responding to these rumors, Nag Anvesh has now claimed that Hebah is just a good friend and nothing more than that. He further said that he didn’t know what had happened between Hebah and Raj Tarun and that his relationship with Hebah starts and ends on the sets itself.

Some say that makers of ‘Angel’ are allegedly speculating about the affair of their lead actors in order to keep their small film in headlines.

Just two films have changed her fate and made her a 1 Crore heroine. She is none other than Keerthy Suresh whose last two Telugu films Nenu Sailaja and Nenu Local have turned money spinners at the Box Office. Keerthy reportedly hiked her fee and is charging 1 Cr for Pawan Kalyan-Trivikram Srinivas film.
Apart from ongoing Pawan Kalyan film, she will be seen as Savitri in biopic of the late actress. It’s buzzed that she is also charging a bomb for this film and the producers have readily agreed considering her interesting lineup especially PK 25.

With this, Keerthy has joined the legion of actresses like Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha, Shruti Haasan, Tamanna and Rakul Preet. In very short span of time, Keerthy has achieved this feat which is usually rarity. Tollywood has always encouraged and supported actresses outside Telugu land and especially there’s a special soft corner on actresses from Malayalam industry. Since Keerthy has Mallu roots, it has become quite easy for her.

This once again proved how Telugu film industry lays red carpet for heroines and pays good remuneration to them compared to other film industries who pays relatively less. Whatever, Keerthy has made use of it at right time and made big fortune.

Reacting on this plastic surgery rumours, Anasuya rather came down heavily. “You know..they aint getting any news from me..so might as well they create! But on a serious note..NO!NEVER!!I dont believe in shortcuts”, she tweeted, clarifying about it.

For the present generation, Devi Sri Prasad might have been an uncrowned king of Tollywood’s music industry (going by the number of hits he delivered consistently including his latest Duvvada Jagnnadham which topped the list of chart busters), but his maiden live show in Australia and New Zealand turned out to be an utter flop. Yes, you read it right. High ticket price, poor turn out has dampened the hopes of organisers leaving them in total despair, loss.

Allegedly, Devi and his team of singers, musicians have charged a Rs 1.5 Crore bomb as fee. And the event organisers have priced the tickets at whopping 200 USD in order to recover monies. This is considered as huge given that even the ticket of Baahubali was priced at 30 USD and that had received a flak from a section of movie lovers in abroad. For reasons well-known to Devi & team, the reception was poor incurring hefty losses to the event organisers.

When Bollywood stars like SRK would go for life performances, events in such countries, the ticket price would be around 300 USD. But DSP’s show being ticketed at 200 USD has interested none. In fact, Devi took a long break from his ongoing films and went for the tour. Even after so much publicity and Devi staying there for long time, nothing has turned fruitful. This is a huge set back to Devi and big let down to his whole team that failed to attract crowds.

Now, it’s buzzed that Devi may give some respite to the organisers by cutting down his fee or he may not, but the losses for the organisers seem unavoidable. Unlike Bollywood musicians who enjoy huge fan base, South and Telugu musicians have little scope to draw crowds for live shows. Even maestro Ilayaraja couldn’t succeed in doing live shows in overseas.

Looks like, this will go down as a bad experience in Devi’s career.

After Rao Ramesh walked out of Ram Charan’s present film, director Sukumar has roped in Prakash Raj for the role. Now, buzz in film circuits is that Sukumar has planned a re-shoot for the same scenes that were earlier shot on Ramesh.

In fact, the previous schedule held in Rajahmundry wasn’t fruitful as the simmering summer had harnessed the progress of the shoot then. All that said to had slowed down the shoot thus forcing Ram Charan, other cast, crew to work more in order to meet the latest schedule.

Since it’s a period film set in 1985, it wasn’t all easy for Sukumar to wrap it quickly. Even director Sukumar is known for delaying shoot and getting confused often. It’s buzzed that this is also one of the reasons for postponing the film from Dasara to Sankranthi. With title getting lukewarm response and film’s shoot getting delayed, fans of Charan are a worried lot.

On other hand, Allu Arjun has meticulously planned and is way ahead than cousin Cherry. While his DJ is getting released this week, his another film Na Peru Surya, Na Illu India is slated for Summer release. In nut shell, by the time Charan’s current film hits the theatre and take some break before his next, Allu Arjun will have two releases.

It’s high time Charan should pick up some pace. What say?

Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan will lead big campaign on the promotion of the single tax -Goods and Services Tax (GST) system which will come into force in the country from July one.

The Central Board of Excise and Customs has made the 74-year-old Bachchan as brand ambassador for GST. A 40-second video featuring him has already been shot and is being circulated.

In the video, Bachchan will explain GST as an unifying force just like the three colours in the national flag. GST is an initiative to create ‘one nation, one tax, one market. Olympic-medal winning badminton player PV Sindhu was previously the GST ambassador.

Prime minister Narendra Modi has brought the GST system to simplify a web of taxes, regulations and border levies. It is being dubbed as the most significant economic reform since BJP government came to power in 2014 and is expected to add as much as 2 percentage points to the GDP growth rate.
