When asked about undergoing an alleged lip job, Shruti Haasan has recently shot back at her detractors saying she can do whatever with her body and face. Now, the hot lady has openly talked about regretting to have pierced her skin five times for tattoos.

During a recent TV show, when Shruti was asked if she would add another tattoo on her body, the ‘Gabbar Singh’ beauty said that she was done with tattoos.

“I already have five tattoos – on my wrist, behind my ear, on my foot, on my back and on my shoulder. I deeply regret having pierced all these. I am so embarrassed with the tattoo on my wrist that I have to put so much make-up on it in order to cover it,” Shruti said with a feeling of disgust.

On work front, Shruti is currently sitting pretty much idle with not a single film in her kitty. Her latest Hindi film ‘Behen Hogi Teri’ also flopped.

There is no official report on how much Rajamouli has pocketed from the success of “Baahubali 2”, but going by the luxurious things he has been buying lately, he may have earned huge.

Just recently, we came across reports of this ace director purchasing 100 acres of land in the outskirts of Hyderabad and constructing a farmhouse there. There were even reports of Rajamouli investing in real estate business. Moving on from lands, the ‘Baahubali’ creator has now purchased a luxury four-wheeler, a posh BMW 7 Series car precisely. It will have cost him around Rs 1 crore.

On work front, Rajamouli is yet to take a call on his next project.

Allu Arjun’s last release ‘Sarrainodu’ was the first film to place him in the race for top position in Tollywood. Buoyed by that success, DJ has done record pre-release business and is gearing up to release on June 23. The actor has steadily expanded his market to neighboring Southern states and North in the past few years. However, US is the one territory that Bunny is yet to conquer.

Coming to Bunny’s last few films, while Julayi, S/o Satyamurthy and Race Gurram became good hits in the US, Iddarammayilatho and Sarrainodu flopped. This is a clear indication that his films do good in the US only with the help of director’s brand and solid content. He doesn’t have the capability to attract audiences to theatres just by his name.

For instance, Sardaar and Brahmotsavam, the disasters of Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu respectively, collected USD 1 million plus in the US. On the other hand, Bunny couldn’t even touch USD 900K with his career biggest commercial hit, ‘Sarrainodu’.

It seems that Bunny has now identified the US as his weak zone and is making efforts to convert it into his forte. As per latest reports, Bunny is taking the entire team of DJ to the US to promote the film there. He will land in the US on around June 30 and will tour the key cities to meet fans and promote DJ.

It may be recalled that Ram Charan has similarly promoted his last film ‘Dhruva’ in the US and scored his first USD 1 million film. We need to wait and see how far the US tour helps in creating the desired market for Bunny.

After mulling over many scripts post her disastrous debut ‘Oka Manasu’, actress Niharika Konidela wanted to take it very slow when it comes to her movies. And finally she said “yes” to somebody and there is a buzz that she agreed to this film just because the director is her relative.

A newcomer named Ravi Durga Prasad finally made Niharika agree for her second film in Telugu, while she’s foraying into Tamil as well this year with a film opposite Vijay Sethupathi. Film Nagar sources revealed that Durga Prasad is a distant relative of Chiranjeevi’s family through their other cousin Meher Ramesh and hence got a chance to work with Niharika. Is that true?

Responding to the reports, Niharika said, “Yes, Durga Prasad is our relative. But more than that it’s the compelling script he has narrated that excited me. Only after liking the script I’ve given nod for the film. Also, he has experience in films as he worked with Meher Ramesh on a number of films”.

Tipped to be a romantic comedy that revolves around four characters, this is a romantic comedy with Niharika playing the pivotal role. Though mega family and mega relations help big time, Niharika says, a good script and the way her heart responds to them is what drives her to sign a film.

’16 – Every Details Counts’ is a dubbed Tamil film that won high critical acclaim. The film’s director, 21-year-old Karthick Naren, a debutante was congratulated and praised by several senior filmmakers for the way he handled a difficult screenplay-based film.

Noted director Gautham Menon was so impressed by the film that he immediately announced to produce the young director’s next film. Staying true to his promise, Menon has now announced the second project of Naren.

Titled ‘Narakasurudu’ (Naragasooran in Tamil), the thriller has ‘The Tale of A Fallen Demon’ as the caption. Aravind Swamy, Shriya Saran, Sundeep Kishan and Indrajith are playing key roles in this intriguing film. The young Naren has succeeded in raising curiosity on his second film with an interesting title, captivating logo and promising actors.

There is no hint of the plot whatsoever but it is expected to be a better thriller than 16. The film will be made as a bilingual in Telugu and Tamil.
